Not as magical as we were hoping, I think small children would enjoy it a lot more than adults. Demonstrations/ feeds were interesting, wide variety of sea life to see inside but smaller overall than expected. The part where you can touch some creatures is good for little ones, starfish, shark egg etc. Would probably visit a larger one if we were to go again.

Absolutely loved the SEA LIFE center. There's plenty of animals like fish, sharks, penguins, seals and more to have a look at. Brilliant day out for the whole family. The center was nice, clean and tidy. Will be definitely visiting again.

A fantastic place to take your kids or even yourself. I hadn't been here for over a decade so it was like experiencing it all again. My kids loved it too. The big tank was the star of the show and something I didn't expect. It will take around 2 hours to take things in though you could stretch that out a little. Worth the money. It's a shame I can't include a video :D

The highlights here are definitely the Penguins, seals and the otters. It’s amazing that they’re looking after baby seals and their so sweet to interact with when they’re awake. The adult seals are sociable as well. The penguins were also very sociable and came right up to the glass to say hello. Inside is very beautiful with the lights and fishes they have living here. It’s not very big but it’s got a lot to look at and see. Definitely a good day out for the kids with the little viewing domes within some of the exhibits.

Hunstanton Sea Life Centre looks quite small to the passer-by but it certainly has a lot to offer. There's the usual tanks full of fish, native and exotic that mesmerise you. While we were there we timed it perfectly for the feeding of the seals. This was done with lots of information given about the seals. We then got to see the feeding of the penguins which was presented just as enthusiastically. We had a look inside the seal hospital, again talked through by a couple of the dedicated staff with their plans for the rescued seal pups. There is also my favourite attraction in any Sea Life Centre, the underwater tunnel. I, personally, could stand there for hours and watch the sharks, fish and, in this case, a huge turtle, swimming around. All in all, this is a cracking attraction and so worth a visit. We need to support places like this and their dedication to looking after our seas and oceans. I will be back!

We loved the sea life centre! It's great for both adults and children, there's so much to see. Once you've purchased a ticket you can also leave and re-enter if needed, to make sure you catch all of the feeding times and make the most of your visit!

Hunstanton Sea Life offers a decent marine experience. The variety of sea creatures is respectable, providing visitors with an opportunity to see a range of aquatic life. The educational aspect is informative, making it a suitable destination for families and school outings. However, some exhibits might benefit from enhancement, and the overall experience could be more engaging. In summary, while it may not be exceptional, Hunstanton Sea Life provides an acceptable visit for those interested in marine life.

Not a bad experience at the sea life center, can be expensive at peak times and school holidays, Don't expect to spend the day there, 2 - 3 hours at the most and you'll be round it. They do have a cafe on site but it's nothing special and it's not cheap either, would recommend getting fish and chips or some donuts from the sea front.

I have been here a few times with my family. It's a great place to pass a couple of hours. Interesting exhibits, well stocked gift shop and a cafe for a drink and a snack. They have kids' activities on in the school holiday. I would recommend a visit.

Best place to park is a grass car park round the back have to pay. Easy to walk to it's right on sea front. Cafe doesn't do hot food just snacks and hot drinks. Gift shop is ok , staff are friendly, young but don't seem to know much. Blue light works here and it's a good deal cheaper. Thought it would be bigger but good set up. Would swap gift shop for more fish🤭

It is fairly small and you really need to take advantage of discounts available in tourism booklets etc & book online in advance , as £25 is a bit overpriced for adults (we got 1/2 price). Having said that the aquariums are immaculate and if you take your time and read about the exhibits it takes around 1.5hrs in total. We found the staff manning the rockpool area very helpful.

A very enjoyable outing for the family! A great variety of animals from stingrays to otters! We were happy to have used Clubcard points to enter, as it's perhaps not the best value if you're paying full price (as a few attractions were closed), but it was a memorable visit for everybody. The staff are polite and friendly, looking after a well-maintained establishment!

Our 14 month old loved it! They let him hold a shark egg and prod a starfish! everything low enough so he could walk round and see for himself! We loved seeing his little face light up for the fish, penguins, otters , seals and his favourite the sting ray! We would love to come again when we visit next year! We also used our clubcard vouchers which was extremely easy to book online! Thankyou for a great time and filling us with knowlege on the animals!

Seems to be doing some good work for various animals, particularly seals. Small but interesting, great for kids, about a 90 minute visit. Book early, a couple of days, online for better entrance prices. Parking in the area is quite expensive and through an app that you need to download.

Nice staff. Opened late but never mind. Think the Hunstanton Sealife Centre needs an update on displays as I know other Sealife Centres have had a refit, I think would really help here. I found all the fake rockery too much and dangerous as being so dark inside I kept on tripping over the display rockery at the bottom on floor. Can't be seen in dark and prevents getting a good look inside tanks. Takes up a lot of floor space. But overall a wide selection of marine life.

Family enjoyed their visit to Sea Life centre. especially walking through the the ocean tunnel and in the ocean viewing gallery... Only one thing which annoyed me was the repetitive loud pirate music while sitting down having some refreshments in Costa coffee..

A great place to visit. Friendly welcoming staff. A good variety of sea life, other wildlife and information. The hands on experience with Starfish and Anemones went down well with my Grandson. We enjoyed our visit very much.

A great place to go to. There is a lot to see and it is good for all age groups, whether you are old or young. Went expecting that it wouldn't be that good but that was based on what I could see on the outside and there isn't much to see there and it looks a lot smaller than you expect for a sea life centre. The staff are very friendly and informative and are willing to tell you and show you everything and anything but not in an overpowering way. The centre had a lot more than I expected and at one point I thought we were nearly finished but actually we were only about halfway around the centre. There are a lot if different types of sea life that you can see there and it is amazing how what you can think of as being under the umbrella of being just 'fish' are actually millions of different types and species and they are always unique a d every fish is different. The centre is also good as managing and showing how they are looking after the fish. The route through has loads of little facf cards that are very interesting and they give so much information if you are interested in reading them. Although most sea life centres are fairly derivative the one in Hunstanton is a cut above the rest in terms of quality of experience. Would fully recommend to anyone that would like to go.

An amazing experience, with a vast variety from marine fish to penguins, seals and even an ant colony. clean and tidy and well run. Great interaction from the staff at the various locations. The sea tunnel is the most impressive with an immersive experience with the turtles, sharks and other fish.

A wonderful place to visit, so many fascinating and beautiful creatures. Really well laid out and interesting displays. Even adults can have fun crawling through the tunnels to view the domed observation areas! Staff really knowledgeable and very friendly. Can highly recommend, but take your time to have a good look at everything.

I am Mexican and I think it was wonderful to be able to share moments with nature. They have a area where you can touch sea starfish and anémonas. Just outside is the place that takes you to see the seals in a boat that has tires and can navigate as well as ride on the sand, although it is not part of the place. Also, my first time seeing penguins

Nice little idea for a family day at Hunstanton. I must admit it seemed a bit smaller from when we last visited and it was pricey to get it for a family of 2 adults and 2 young kids. But worth the family time. It was a last minute idea. I recommend to book online.

  • 5/5 Robert W. 8 months ago on Google
Nice few hours, wasn't over crowded so plenty of opportunity to stand and look at the animals without feeling the need to move along too quickly.

Lovely little sea life centre, with friendly staff and a range of creatures to view. We were urged to visit the seals during feeding, which was a lovely moment. The leaf cutter ants were particularly interesting too!

Brilliant fun to see, there's even a touch the starfish experience which we loved... They're surprisingly rough by the way.

  • 5/5 Jamie G. 8 months ago on Google
Managed to get a discounted entry with a voucher in a leaflet, purchased tickets in advance and plenty to see for an afternoon. Loved the ants of all things (LOL), it was amazing to be so close to them without any glass barriers etc.

  • 5/5 Andrew C. 8 months ago on Google
I'll be honest, I think the entry fee if you pay full price for a family is a tad on the expensive side, but if you look around there are offers that makes the cost a bit more affordable. On our visit I was a little worried the small people in the family would rush through and we wouldn't be there long - in the end we was there for about 3 hours (but that included a break for a snack and drink in the coffee shop area). The staff said we were OK to have something and then go back in after (we wanted to go back to watch the otter, seal and ocean feeds). Also, on our visit, they had a kids activity, which kept them busy at times, as well as some organised sessions like 'draw a pirate' and 'pirate bingo'. The tanks looked well maintained, and there was lots of little areas that you could go to look at the fish - included some dome type areas. We very much enjoyed the ocean area, so much to see! The staff were friendly and were willing to answer all sorts of questions from both us and the kids. We all came away very much enjoying the visit - good work Sea Life Hunstanton!!

This is a nice sea life centre. Definitely one of the better ones we have been too. Great starting section with tasks and hunts for children. That then opens to the main sections with the seals and otters etc. We got to see feeding of both which was great and then to the large aquarium which has a tunnel section and a large full wall where they fed sharks and turtles etc. Worth a visit and there are usually offers on if you prepare in advance.

  • 3/5 Jonny C. 8 months ago on Google
For the price, I do not think this place was worth a visit. Took my 5 year old, and we were in there for around 25-30 minutes. Would be cheaper off rate times with a discount voucher. But all the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and great with children.

Great visit with my son - we travelled about an hour and a half - he is 7 and was very excited about the trip and thankfully sealife Hunstanton did not disappoint! We are still talking about it today and drawing / painting the fish we saw - was a big experience for him and an Easter holiday highlight! We loved the rays, sharks turtles and cayman. Loved the underwater bubble features too! Thanks to all the staff who made it such a friendly experience too

  • 3/5 Karl M. 2 years ago on Google
Overall, the sea life centre is the usual experience found at all their other sites, with plenty of facts and info about the species on view with entrance located on the sea front. The staff were polite and friendly. The main issue we had was a couple of the tanks were far too small, especially the ones for the Green Moray Eel and Piranhas/Rays. The tank for the Eel is disgustingly small and is basically the length of the eel. This clearly needs to looked into urgently.

Brilliant place. The best sealife I've been to. (out of Brighton and London) My 4 year old LOVED it. We were there for ages. Lovely little play area too.

  • 5/5 Minnie M. 2 years ago on Google
This branch has seals & penguins! Came on 18.09.2021 - booked online, under 3s are free. Car park is large and inexpensive. Sealife is a short walk along the promenade. Great for children to learn about underwater animals and fish. It is very dark inside and the music is soothing. So informative and enjoyable. Penguins and seals were the highlight. Seals are not at Yarmouth Sealife. Otters were sleeping so couldn't see them.

Brilliant, a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Lots of amazing sea life to see at close quarters. A big variety, all well presented in clean, attractive tanks. All the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable , making our visit extra special.

It's a great little trip, albeit a little bit expensive. We took our 3 year old and she loved it, stroking a star fish, and seeing sharks, turtles and alligator's. It took us an hour to go around the whole attraction and we were stopping at every tank. The timings of the 4 displays they had also didn't really work with the time that we arrived which was midday (2 before midday and 2 after 2pm) which was unfortunate, but we found there wasn't 2 hours worth of stuff to do to wait for the second lot of displays.

  • 5/5 Aaron M. 2 years ago on Google
My daughter loved it. Plenty to do and see, she really liked the little tunnels you could crawl under and pop your head through a glass bubble under the water and have your head right next to the fish. It had the nice addition of a reptile area at the end of the sealife center, my daughter was lucky enough to hold a snake ! The handler was very good and explained facts about the snake, she really enjoyed it !! There's a lovely gift shop with plenty to choose from at the end when you exit and a Costa coffee. There's a huge turtle in one tank which is a rescue turtle. It's well worth a visit !

We booked online the morning of visiting and managed to get a place which was good. Upon arrival we were greeted and served quickly and Efficiently and was offered brochures and a complimentary magnifying glass which is small but adds to the experience. Walking around the centre it was pleasant lots of people but spread out most of the time. Wide variety of sea life and information. And finally there was a fairly big gift shop but can not say I looked at anything due to the nature of what was being sold was mainly for children.

It's a nice place to chill, however it felt quite small in comparison to places like London or Birmingham. Kids loved it though. I recommend you guys buy cornflakes (you need 2x) with special promo as we got Sea Life vouchers and so 2 adults went free and we only pay for kids.

We went out for a day trip. Took my sister and her autistic daughter. We all enjoyed ourselves. I would say if you like sea life go visit.

A great centre for seeing a range of sea life such as penguins, seals and turtles, as well as river otters and some other creatures like snakes and leaf cutter ants. The staff were really friendly and engaging and gave information talks about each animal at set public feeding times. Our family, ranging from ages 3 to 60, all really enjoyed the visit.

  • 5/5 Rob S. 10 months ago on Google
Great place to spend a couple of hours with additional displays for penguins, otters and seals. We dropped in on a few talks / feeding sessions which were interesting so make a note of the times for those on the flyer they give you when you enter.

  • 5/5 Amy W. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing- I've been there three times and there's always something new to look at! The wheelchair access isn't great but is manageable- I particularly loved the jelly fish tank!

  • 3/5 Jacob S. 10 months ago on Google
A small but decent aquarium, some excellent displays and then some odd choices. After seeing displays in the London location to then seeing plastic plants in enclosures felt a little cheap. Reptile jungle themed room feels like an odd after thought especially as few of the animals were from that biome and most are common pets. Outside area was nice and loved the large walk through aquarium.

  • 4/5 maryjane g. 7 months ago on Google • 1 review
SO many great creatures and the outside animals were the star of the show (Especially the seals at feeding time) - the animal care team were just lovely! But some guest experience staff seemed a bit down and not very engaging except for Pixie who did fantastic animal talks when they were getting fed!
