👍 Update October 2022: the graffiti has mostly been cleaned off and the play equipment has been repaired. The playground equipment is tired and covered in graffiti, but it is all functioning. It's a good open space. The zip wire is a good one for older children. However, there is always a lot of dog... People often mention area, playground, park,

Update October 2022: the graffiti has mostly been cleaned off and the play equipment has been repaired. The playground equipment is tired and covered in graffiti, but it is all functioning. It's a good open space. The zip wire is a good one for older children. However, there is always a lot of dog poo about and there is no path to the playground and the ground is too uneven for pushchairs. It has the potential to be a great park, but it needs investment.

A square green area which is accessoble from the east side (Orchard Rise - Freshfields) or the south side (Cheston Avenue). The east side is open with a football field and a few benches. There is a small children's play area on the west side and some wooded land at the western edge.

There is a lot of potential for this park but at the moment it looks forgotten. It's not maintained, playground equipment is old, zip line not working. Lots of space for dog walking. I'd say it's more like a country park.

Basically a very large field, a couple of goal posts, a small children's play area, a slide and a sit-on swing/zip-line (a few metres). It could do with the grass - especially on the football area - being cut, but currently Croydon Council is struggling for funds. All the aforementioned aside, my dog loves it! It's easily accessible and an easy time with your dog can be spent walking around it.

Have had big family picnics here for many years. Safe swings/play area close to the grass area so it's easy to keep an eye whilst having a relaxing picnic. Ample free parking.

Good Park and I hardly see any dog's poop around.

Really needs attention of the borough council!! Seems to be forgotten. Needs the grass cut and service for playground equipment. Recently moved in this area and just disappointed.

A compact and decent local park consisting of a very large field and a children's recreational ground. There are no paths, but the grass was well cut so it was easy to push a buggy across. The playground is basic but in good condition with swings, a climbing frame and slide and a strange rocking horse thing. Just outside is a zip line for older kids / adults who should know better (including me!). Visiting in the day during the week, it was very quiet but felt perfectly safe because it's a very open area.

Good zipline, tyre swing and climbing frame with a climbing wall. There are also 2 football pitches and a couple of swings, so needs a few more items. Good for dog walking, as relatively enclosed.

Lovely little park, quite quiet. Has a small playground and seems popular with dog walkers
