We
got
married
at
Donnington
Manor
Hotel
in
June
this
year,
what
started
off
great
sadly
turned.
I
would
urge
any
bride/grooms
to
reconsider.
We
had
booked
a
supplier
through
the
hotel
but
had
decided
to
go
in
another
direction
and
cancel
this
supplier.
Donnington
Manor
had
paid
the
supplier
their
deposit
with
the
money
we
had
paid
them
as
a
deposit
but
they
had
not
got
a
contract
from
the
supplier
detailing
any
cancellation
terms,
we
lost
£600
due
to
this.
2
weeks
before
our
wedding
we
were
told
they
wouldn't
handle
any
music
for
the
ceremony
itself
or
have
a
sound
system
other
than
a
blue
tooth
speaker
but
one
of
our
invited
guests
would
need
to
play
the
music.
The
weekend
of
the
wedding
was
very
hot,
Donnington
Manor
ran
out
of
water
bottles.
We
had
paid
for
extra
staff
for
the
event,
but
guests
were
waiting
45
minutes
at
the
bar
for
drinks,
their
excuse
was
they
were
understaffed
on
the
day
which
was
said
on
multiple
review
responses
from
the
owner
and
in
writing
to
me
after
the
wedding.
Staff
were
serving
drinks
over
the
hedge
from
the
outside
bar
set
up
we
had
paid
for,
to
their
guest
house
across
the
road,
they
ran
out
of
3
draft
beers,
only
one
was
put
back
on.
Part
of
our
evening
meal
was
burgers,
they
were
served
with
no
trimmings
after
the
wedding
I
was
told
we
should
have
requested
cheese....
I
would
of
thought
that
came
standard
with
a
burger?
But
most
upsetting
was
the
burger
patties
were
cut
in
half
and
served
to
our
guests
-
3
and
a
half
thousand
pounds
for
evening
food
to
have
no
trimmings
and
half
a
burger
patty
served
to
guests.
I
have
contacted
Donnington
Manor
detailing
my
concerns
after
the
wedding
but
got
a
less
than
satisfying
response
basically
saying
they
were
short
staffed
and
they
shouldn't
have
halved
our
evening
food
when
we
had
paid
3.5k
for
it.
Please
avoid.
