I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was quite accommodating to a late check in. The ambience was very inviting. The rooms were very modern for a hotel that looked very vintage from outside. The bed was comfortable and there was options of streaming from YouTube or Netflix which I found great. I wished, the rooms had a fridge though. Breakfast was buffet styled and was OK, however, there was no staff around to ask for other hot options. I would definitely come back here soon.

Absolutely lovely hotel, completely surpassed my expectations! The staff were absolutely lovely right from check in, and were very accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and a good size. I loved the way they lit up the outside of the hotel at night, not only did it make the hotel easy to find but it made it feel like we were at a tropical resort! We also had afternoon tea at the hotel which I would definitely recommend. There was loads of parking and the hotel is in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay, it's a gem of a hotel!

Very friendly and welcoming staff from check in to check out. We had 2nights in Otford Executive room which was immaculate clean with fresh towels etc each day. Evening meal was perfectly cooked and the staff made it a very relaxed atmosphere. Will be re booking next time I'm in this area.

Only popped by for a short visit but very pleasant place to visit. Unusual but nice decor and a fairly lavish feel. Great size car park which you have to register with the hotel for. Tesla chargers are also onsite.

My daughter stayed here the night before her wedding. She literally had 2 hours sleep as the noise from a couple arguing above was so loud. She called reception and it carried on only then very loud music was drowning the arguing. She called reception again and they went to the wrong room to complain which caused the boys from the wrong room to run up and down the corridor banging on my daughter’s door shouting “was it you?” Reception then asked if they could go into my daughter’s room to listen for the noise and finally agreed it was from above and went up there. She kept telling reception I’m getting marred tomorrow, I really don’t need this. This morning my daughter spoke to reception who said police had removed the couple and said sorry !! I know Donnington Manor cannot restrict the type of guest but they could have sorted this matter a lot quicker and my daughter could have had more than 2 hours sleep. It’s her wedding day so no thanks to your hotel she will be exhausted before the vows !! To make matters worse we have 6 rooms booked tonight for the wedding party … guess we better prepare for no sleep either !!

Went for lunch today, was not very impressed, felt like we were an inconvenience, even though we were the only ones in there except for one other man, it was cold in the restaurant, so we sat in the bar! Food was ok bit bland, waited ages to pay our bill, nobody. Seemed bothered! Would think twice about returning, shame really as it’s a lovely old building, went there a long time ago and it was really nice, so wanted to take my family for a birthday lunch, but not again!

We got married at Donnington Manor Hotel in June this year, what started off great sadly turned. I would urge any bride/grooms to reconsider. We had booked a supplier through the hotel but had decided to go in another direction and cancel this supplier. Donnington Manor had paid the supplier their deposit with the money we had paid them as a deposit but they had not got a contract from the supplier detailing any cancellation terms, we lost £600 due to this. 2 weeks before our wedding we were told they wouldn't handle any music for the ceremony itself or have a sound system other than a blue tooth speaker but one of our invited guests would need to play the music. The weekend of the wedding was very hot, Donnington Manor ran out of water bottles. We had paid for extra staff for the event, but guests were waiting 45 minutes at the bar for drinks, their excuse was they were understaffed on the day which was said on multiple review responses from the owner and in writing to me after the wedding. Staff were serving drinks over the hedge from the outside bar set up we had paid for, to their guest house across the road, they ran out of 3 draft beers, only one was put back on. Part of our evening meal was burgers, they were served with no trimmings after the wedding I was told we should have requested cheese.... I would of thought that came standard with a burger? But most upsetting was the burger patties were cut in half and served to our guests - 3 and a half thousand pounds for evening food to have no trimmings and half a burger patty served to guests. I have contacted Donnington Manor detailing my concerns after the wedding but got a less than satisfying response basically saying they were short staffed and they shouldn't have halved our evening food when we had paid 3.5k for it. Please avoid.

Popped in to charge my Tesla and dropped by into reception to register my car reg for free parking. Soham at the desk was very attentive and kindly provided a cup of filter coffee on the house. Fantastic experience.

The receptionists that night and next morning were nice. However, there was a member of staff that derogatorily insisted to interrogate whether I was really staying in the hotel whilst I was waiting outside my room for my partner (after the fire alarm went off the first time that night). The fire alarm went off twice between 2 and 3:30 and my partner and I could not rest well. We both have sleep problems and were looking to have a restful night after a very tiring day. We did not get what we paid for. Also, there was a bath in the advert that we did not have in our room.

We have just stayed at Donnington Manor Hotel. We have had a lovely stay the hotel is excellent, stylish with well planned interiors . The grounds are lovely with the statues coming alive at night with beautiful lighting. Impressive. All the staff are professional, friendly infact exceptional. The food was very good with wide choices. I highly recommend this hotel. There are plenty places to visit, The lovely town of Sevenoaks with its many shops restaurants and cafes , Hever Castle, Chartwell ( Winston Churchills home) Lavender Fields and lots more

We used the Tesla Supercharger behind the Hotel and the Toilet. There is also a wheelchair toilet available. Don‘t forget to enter your License Plate into the computer by the reception otherwise you will get a fine over 100£! Maybe we consider the hotel next time for a stay looks pretty nice 😊

I called in person to ask a few questions about bringing a disabled loved one to stay. At Reception a guy was called from an office to help as it had got busy. I asked if it was possible to see a room that was disable friendly, it was occupied, so no problem. I wanted to know if there was a better time of the week for a nights stay, dinner, afternoon tea (not that I got the chance to ask that bit) with my88 year old Mum? I didn't get a chance to ask any further details to facilitate an easy stressfree trip/stay with forward planning from myself to answer my Mums questions as I was told to look at the website for all I need to know. Do you think I had not done this before I paid you a visit? Why do you think I called in? I walked out upset, near to tears, unbelievable. I guess Receptionist won't be needed in future and I don't need to stay at your hotel.

One night stay, decent enough place to lay your head. Super big beds, nice enough room overall. Reasonable menu but sorely lacking any vegan options.. help yourself cooked breakfast, eggs to order.. interesting "muzak" in the restaurant. Plenty of parking.

We booking a one night stay, which was supposed to include a two course dinner and breakfast. We went down for dinner, and were told we could choose either a starter and a main, or a main and dessert. We ordered a main and dessert each. At the end we were told we had to pay an extra £24 for the meal, even though the deal we booked clearly said it was included. They claimed that only £20 towards the meal was included in the deal, which given many of the mains on the menu are over £20, never mind the starters and desserts, is clearly not a two course meal. We didn't want to make a fuss so paid up, but sent a complaint afterwards which they have ignored. Other than that, the location is nice, the bed was fine, but the bathroom wasn't in great condition. One of the lights in the shower was hanging out with exposed wires, which seems like an electrical hazard. Our room was noisy at night with music from the bar.

Stayed here plenty of times now and always have a great stay. Food great and drinks are very good value from a price perspective. I keep coming back and would recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in Sevenoaks

Friendly staff and a nice hotel break. Rooms were away from bar and restaurant so was quiet and peaceful. Food was good in the restaurant with portion sizes that tried and succeeded in defeating us. Parking was easy but you do need to register the car, but that is the same as most hotels nowadays. Rooms were modest but comfortable. Air conditioning was fully adjustable which was good.

Lack of greeting when we booked in. Couldn't find our booking. I had done fast track. Room was ok but the thermostat was set at 27 deg. Evening meal was a disaster. Service was awful, got our money back on the meal. Drinks were very expensive. Service at breakfast was excellent and breakfast was good.

I ate here for a private family party on Sunday. I was impressed with the food, my salmon dish was lovely. We did have to ask for the coffee to be topped up a number of times and the service could have been tighter with people on the same table being served at the same time. Overall, it’s a lovely venue & was enjoyable.

Lovely hotel. Lovely rooms. Fantastically large beds. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Evelyn the breakfast time waitress is a beacon of Irish joy to greet you in the morning. Only negative is the terrible, headache inducing muzak played at breakfast.

It was warm and comfy. The food in the morning was great too, all you can eat breakfast with lots to choose from😃 Highly Recommended. See my review for the Chartwell Restaurant which is inside this hotel. Not stayed in hotel so would be unfair to review. The building looks very nice and clean. Car park is massive. Seems to be owned by Elon Musk great if you own a Tesla. Couldn't give me one.

We stayed 2 nights and when we arrived we where told our restaurant booking for that evening was not on the system, my sister provided the confirmation received on her phone and we did have a meal that night, but, I do wish we had eaten somewhere else. Our meals took forever and had items missing, mushy pease, coleslaw etc, instead we had a small awful salad. I must say the fish and chips where well cooked and tasty. My burger was very dry, the bun cold and also very dry. We asked for a jug of water twice and never received it. The lack of staff was very apparent and I must add that the staff tried their best but it was an impossible situation

I would give this place a 0 star review if I could! Me and my wife booked our wedding here 2 years ago - Due to covid we had to change the date to June 2022. With a month to go last minute they said we had to pay more as their costs had increased. We agreed everything - Flowers,DJ, photographer and Food choices, everything was in place! Even our guests had pre paid for rooms worth a lot of money. When we refused to pay more they made it very difficult for us and in the end they agreed to honour their original price. We cancelled as we were left disgusted with what they tried to do, especially when it had been booked for over 2 years, prices agreed and deposits paid. Not only did they keep our deposit which was a substantial amount - when our guests tried to get a refund for their rooms they were told they could not be refunded and they were offered coupons instead. Which most would never use as they live too far away. Due to this some our guests were left forking out hundreds meaning they could not make it to our wedding at the new venue. Please do not use this place! It will be the biggest mistake you ever make!

It's an OK hotel with clean and functional rooms. Nice outside area which is cutely illuminated at night with spots and floods. The food is good, though nothing special, and the staff are pleasant and accommodating. There's possibly a dearth of staff at the weekend as tables remained uncleared for hours and the bar randomly staffed. The restaurant is ill-equipped (under-staffed?) to cater for a full hotel at breakfast as the sole employee seemed to be run ragged on the Sunday.

Beware if your Tesla brings you here to supercharge. We charged there for 30 minutes in our rental car and received a £100 fine for parking there for 30 minutes (in the middle of the night, no less). There are no signs indicating this so it’s impossible to know unless you’ve already been hit with a fine.
