The
food
had
the
potential
of
being
lovely
but
unfortunately
the
curry
was
barely
lukewarm
(the
rice
was
hot)
the
naan
bread
tasteless,
the
burger
burnt
and
crunchy,
the
coffee
very
weak,
Guinness
was
good,
the
apple
crumble
pie
was
cold
and
on
a
very
cold
plate,
lumpy
custard
but
it
was
hot,
the
eton
mess
seriously
lacked
its
fruit
and
meringue
pieces,
it
was
a
big
portion
of
cream
and
ice
cream.
The
staff
were
out
of
sight
most
of
the
time
and
didn't
do
the
customary
'is
everything
okay?'.
We'd
originally
sat
down
at
a
vacant
table,
but
were
quickly
asked
to
move
by
the
waitress
being
sent
over
by
the
manager,
because
we'd
sat
next
to
a
reserved
table!
Which
didn't
make
sense,
besides
which
it
wasn't
reserved
until
5:30pm,
we
sat
down
at
the
unreserved
adjacent
table
at
3:30pm!
To
top
it
off,
the
pie
and
the
mixed
grill
were
unavailable,
so
we
settled
for
the
ultimate
burger
and
the
curry.
We'd
return
for
a
drink
if
we
were
passing
but
we
won't
eat
there
again.
