Restaurant Chinese restaurant

😠 Atmosphere is not relaxed. They are rushing to take your plate away. Very pushy as soon as glass empty they are over in seconds. Money added to the bill and I'm not on about the extra 10% service charge. They added money to the mains sneaky. Tables tiny and crammed in, trying to fit as many people... People often mention good, staff, quality, time, restaurant, service, friendly, Chinese, great, Xian,

I loved this place. The food is above and beyond. Pure quality. All very fresh and the staff were so friendly. Me and my wife went in on a Friday lunch time. We had the restaurant to our selves. The place is small enough to be exclusive and not too big to seat too many people. The air-conditioning was set perfect which in the heat wave was wonderful. The quality of the food was amazing as it was just the 2 of us. I will be back time and time again. It really is a small and perfect diamond of a place. Well done don't change anything.

CHARGED £5 FOR A COKE WHICH WAS OUT OF A MULTI PACK CAN. Some of the food was tasty and other dishes wasn't so good. Portions were very big. Set menu for 2 and 4 multipack cokes 80 pounds. Disrespect. Overall we wouldn't return here, can sense owners are greedy pushy. The gentleman greeting people was very polite. Food about 6 out of 10. They even got a table cloth underneath the current table cloth to save time!

The best Chinese in the South East by far. The szechuan prawns and lamb cutlets to start are a must, followed by crispy duck and if room a main each or to share. Eddie and staff are very efficient and we like to go here for a regular treat.

Always good food and friendly service. Had dinner with family. We started with mixed hot appetizer and then had Peking duck with pancakes (not pictured)

The food quality at Xian continues to draw us back. It was good to see a full restaurant testifying to others' agreement. Service good except when trying to get the bill. Generally the foibles of our group were catered for cheerfully. A good muscadet complemented chicken in three different guises and sweet and sour pork. Duck as a starter. Three course would have been too much for us.

A few friends recommended Xian so we gave it a go, the food was above average, but it is noisey and the tables are packed together, so the experience was not as good as we hoped. We will go back again, perhaps on a quieter day to check them out again..

The food was overall good. Some dishes were very popular like the Singapore fried noodles, others nice such as the egg battered chicken and others like the Kung po chicken we not as well liked. Portion sizes were good. Overall, we had a reasonable meal and nothing to complain about

Came for my birthday dinner - absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend booking in advance as it gets very busy, we tried to do a walk in a few weeks back and were unsuccessful

Been going to this place with my parents for years and it never disappoints, every time I go I remember how nice the food is! Love the lettuce puffs! Victor always makes an effort to talk to us and catch up which is appreciated.

The food was amazing. Highly recommend the peppered prawns over the szechuan prawns. The food arrived really quickly after the order was taken. The staff are attentive and the atmosphere is good. Its a great place for couples and takes up to 8 people.

I love this restaurant! The food is very high quality, very consistent, very tasty. The staff are always so warm, welcoming and attentive. The service is as brilliant as the food. I am vegetarian and there are plenty of delicious dishes to chose from. My favourites are the beancurd in black bean sauce - and the green onion cake is incredible!! I sometimes dine in which is a great experience, and sometimes collect food. It is always ready around 15 minutes after I place the order - nice and fast, and boiling hot. The food feels like it is prepared with a lot of care and skill. That is why I keep coming back time after time. Thank you Xi'an!

The best Chinese in Bromley and Orpington! A wonderful meal for my husbands birthday! Staff are fantastic, they go above and beyond for customers and are excellent with children! Food is great quality and reasonably priced! We was let down by a Chinese restaurant we use regularly and phoned xians to see if they could fit us in, straight away they said yes and the table was ready when we arrived 15 minutes later! Thank you very much!

When my family & I wanted to treat ourselves & celebrate special occasions, Xian has been the place we would go & we were never disappointed. We have made so many memories & celebrated so much at Xian over the years. I am so pleased Xians is still here. We moved away in 1996 & still remember Xians as being our family favourite, plus we stole an ashtray, (because you could smoke in the restaurant back in those days!-I know disgusting!) which is in the same condition today as when we took it. Sorry Xian!! They obviously provide the same quality, day in, day out as they did for us nearly 30 years ago. They truly deserve celebrating! Regards, To Xi’an from The Jones’ Ps. Sorry we nicked your ash tray. xxx
