Excellent hospital with a family atmosphere, extremely professional staff. During my recent day case surgery I was well cared for and well fed! All staff were friendly and genuinely care, making sure I was comfortable and my needs were met. This place feels like half hotel, half hospital and would recommend to all. Dr Melia made me feel at ease and communicated everything to me at all times. The theatre team were fantastic, as were the house keeping and nursing staff throughout my stay Thank you

I had a lovely experience while getting surgery here. All the nurses and those that helped me were kind and compassionate, making my day far simpler and less stress which was just what I needed considering what could have been a very overwhelming time for me. I appreciate my smooth experience massively.

Hi, I spent a day last week in this hospital to have my knee surgery done and I highly recommend it. All staff was very friendly and caring since the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Special thanks to nurse Peter who looked after me that day and Mr Walczak who performed the surgery.

I had an ACL reconstruction and was a day patient. I was looked after so well, all staff were very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Joanne was my nurse, and she was wonderful. All my questions were answered and she made sure I understood every step of the process. Thank you!

All the staff met or exceeded my expectations. They explained all the procedures and answered all my questions and concerns clearly. My day nurse Lay-Bee was fantastic. I even had my surgeon ring me on Saturday night to check on my condition. What a great service by all.

Honestly could not be more happy with our experience today at Chelsfield Park Hospital - absolutely everything about the process was seamless! All of the staff were incredible - so friendly and reassuring (even when I cried more than my little girl who was having the operation). Special mention to Sasha and Nicky who looked after our little girl today and made sure she was happy and answered all our questions! Our Surgeon Mr Jacob has been amazing throughout the process and we had a brilliant anaesthetist, Krishan, who came to help from Portland hospital. Amazing place, amazing team!

Highly recommend this private hospital. From start to finish the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. I was a day patient and rather nervous about the surgery but they made me feel such at ease. I was even offered a full meal (and they kindly sorted something for my mother too as we'd been there for hours). Great choice of food. Very spacious and comfortable room to myself. Huge special thanks to: Edmund (and his team!), Nick, Sally, Sue and Hazel (sure I've forgotten others but I was a bit drugged πŸ˜†). I had lots of laughs which was wonderful therapy post op!! Thank you πŸ™

My mum recently underwent hip replacement surgery at Chelsfield Park hospital and was really pleased with the treatment and care she received. Her consultant, Mr McAllister, was excellent and although she experienced some complications post op, she was very reassured by the level of care she received to resolve these issues. She would like to pass on her thanks to the entire team involved in her care and she is very grateful to have been able to access fast and effective treatment during the pandemic.

Having been let down by the NHS waiting list for physio following my knee replacement surgery, I opted to go private for 4 sessions. From the moment I walked into the reception I was treated with care and compassion. Laura was amazing and gave me valuable advice and guidance to work on in order to get where I needed to be. Her knowledge and experience was evident and I left feeling extremely positive about my future capabilities.

I had the privilege of being operated on by the exceptional surgeon, MR El-Hasani. I cannot emphasize enough how highly I recommend him. Not only is he incredibly proficient in his craft, but he also demonstrates genuine concern for his patients. He took the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of my surgery. I would also like to express my heartfelt appreciation for the remarkable staff on the ward. Each and every one of them provided me with exceptional care beyond my expectations. I am truly grateful. Thank you so much! Xx

I visited the hospital with my 6 year old son who was having a procedure done. From the moment we arrive we were warmly welcomed and put at ease. The nursing staff was absolved brilliant at helping to maintain normality with my son and make everything seem exciting. Our whole experience went smoothly and was stress free.

Great care was given for my daughter Evie who was having her tonsils removed. We was kept informed all through the day of what was happening. The nurses were super nice, they made Evie feel special. I think Evie thought she was in a hotel rather than a hospital from the special treatment she was given…

I had a routine apt at the hospital today - I was greeted by a receptionist called Tina extremely polite and helpful she confirmed my appointment and advised that my consultant was on schedule, she advised I could help myself to coffee and I would be called shortly. After my appointment with my consultant - a very down to earth engaging and informative gentleman, I spoke to Wendy on reception - again extremely helpful and courteous lady who arranged a 8 week follow up appointment. The experience was smooth, to time and straightforward - thank you all.

The staff were wonderfully attentive, especially Ann Marie. From reception, porters, catering, cleaning, nurses, anaesthetist, surgeon, etc...everyone was fantastic and made my hospital stay a very pleasant experience. Wonderful staff, wonderful hospital.

Husband in for hernia op 26/10/23. Excellent care, especially (my outsider's view, only being there for several hours over 2 days) from Sheila and Sarah. Their patent experience, kindliness tempered with a no- nonsense approach to the tasks in hand and thorough good-humour made his stay a great deal less unpleasant than it might have been. Of course, those who passed in and out doing their duties; doctors, nurses, etc. were also very good and tirelessly upbeat. Not a grim face in sight! If I did emojis, there would be a line of happy faces. May I stay a day to test-drive and enjoy the well-balanced, toothsome food on offer! Thankyou all! Job for the Maintenance Team. Shower in ward 102 looks fine - all nice and clean. But from the inside, once the door has been slid shut, one sees that the silicone (whatever!) has badly perished and water gains free access to under the shower pod floor. Nice for fungi! Dive in chaps and get it sorted but not a la the railways!

I wanted to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Chelsfield hospital. Everyone made me feel comfortable and at ease from the moment I entered the hospital. Upon my visit, I met with Mr Kasem to review a lump in my breast. I was extremely nervous, but he made me feel calm through the appointment and went through all the details. I have seen several consultants in the past, but Mr Kasem was by far the best and I would highly recommend. He was extremely professional, thorough and compassionate. I would also like to thank all the nurses, as I thought the lump may be the worst case scenario. They were attentive and couldn't be more supportive or helpful. This hospital gets 5 out of 5 stars. The staff are the best of the best and the level of service is exceptional. Thank you all so much.

Staff could not have been more welcoming or have done more to put me at ease when I attended for an outpatient consultation and imaging department. Caring, professional staff who made me feel like I was in really safe hands. Consultant was very thorough and compassionate, and made sure I was entirely happy with everything before I left. The whole process ran like clockwork and I was kept informed throughout of what would happen next, how long I'd wait and what to expect. I was very anxious about this appointment as I'd previously had a stressful experience at another hospital for this type of appointment; however the staff at Chelsfield Park did everything they could to make this a calm and positive experience. 5 star service - thank you so much to everyone involved!

I want to start off by saying, What a wonderful hospital! I brought my daughter in to have her adenoids and tonsils removed on 30.05.22. From the moment we arrived, we were put at ease. The staff here are just out of this world professional, polite, sensitive towards patients and friendly. I cant thank Sasha, Sue and Mr Jacob enough for all they have done for my child. You are all superstars. Xx

Absolutely disgraceful receptionist staff on my visit on the 20th April at 6.30pm. So incredibly rude and dismissive of my upset to be seen alone after my previous mistreatment at BMI Chelsfield, where I received an incorrect procedure. She also took about 30 seconds to acknowledge my presence at the desk, and then rolled her eyes as she asked me what I’m here for as if I was an inconvenience to her day. I would also encourage training on how to speak properly with a mask on as they make no effort to speak clearly and loud enough. Not the service you expect when you’re paying for treatment.

While at the hospital and during telephonic conversation I felt respected and treated well. The staff was really nice and caring. The nurse who took care of me (Hazel) was wonderful, such kindness and empathy. Sue who also was on the floor was also really nice and helpful. Sue in the recovery room was very caring and patient. The doctor and anesthetist were both professional and humane. Overall I felt really cared for, the people I met were genuinely kind and thoughtful.

Had a partial knee replacement at Chelsfield Park hospital at the end of January 2023 as an NHS patient. From start to finish everything was first class service. Everyone I met who works there are friendly and helpful. Food was fab. Have not got a bad word to say. Looking forward to having my other knee done next year. ☺️.

Every member of staff that I dealt with in any capacity treated me with respect, friendliness and professionalism. Similarly, they all displayed a welcome sense of humour and genuinely cared about this patient, the β€˜plastic’ falsity of the have a nice day attitude was entirely absent. The staff clearly enjoy working in this environment and this is undoubtedly transmitted to the patients and obvious from their interactions. I really cannot speak highly enough of my treatment in this hospital and unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone.

Recently I have visited Chelsfield Park hospital to see Dr Sandy flann. I’m a self paying patient and have had amazing service from Sandy Flann who has seen me very quickly in a very nice hospital setting. I’ve been to the hospital before and found that the service provided is always wonderful from all of the hospital staff and the hospital feels more like a hotel as you feel more at ease. I’d like to thank all of the staff for being so attentive my needs and always going above and beyond.

Went in for hip replacement under NHS - femur was fractured during surgery but only found in xray next day . Surgeon was away at his London clinic and when he arrived around 6.30pm informed me I would be going to the PRUH to have further surgery to repair the break. Have been left with over 1inch leg length difference and in pain. Wrote to Chelsfield and received back non explanatory and non committal text book replies. Still do not understand what happened or why it happened. Day nurse was really good and explained to my son what was happening. Would not go back

Had to attend here for the first time last week to check out a lump, everyone was really professional, reassuring and explained everything at each stage so I knew what was being checked and what the results were. Luckily everything was fine but I wouldn't hesitate to return if needed in the future. I didn't catch anyone's name but the lady who accompanied me to the ultrasound was very reassuring and kind - thank you!

Our daughter had surgery at Chelsfield this week. The team were exemplary for start to finish. They could not have made her stay any better. From the receptionist that greeted us to the Hospital Director everyone went above and beyond. A massive thanks to Sasha and her team, a real credit to the hospital.

This post is writen by my wife. I was referred to Chelsfield park under the choose and book system. It has been an amazing experience from the start. The imaging team were amazing looking after me during my MRI. Mr.Sharr operated on my lower back, a wonderful surgeon. Really listened to me. I could not fault the theatre team and the ward staff, particularly Ann-Marie. She really cared for me and helped me get back on my feet. What a wonderful hospital and staff.

Great care, lovely staff and really professional consultant. 3rd operation in this hospital in the last 10 years, service still excellent. Thank you Sue Cowan for looking after me before and after the procedure, you were really kind and caring. Thank you to my consultant Dr El Hasani who is always professional and reassuring, and thank you for organising the procedure quite fast as I would have had to wait 8 to 12 months with NHS… My bedroom was huge, looking over the park. It’s ashamed I could not stay overnight as apparently my private insurance would not cover for it as I did not feel ready to go home on the same day of my gallbladder removal but I suppose insurances are here to make money and not always looking after the best care for their customers!
