Got married here at Danson house 16 Sept 2020 and the staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful and guided me through the procedure and made me feel comfortable. The rooms were all beautiful and luxurious setting. The Danson surroundings is just beautiful to take photos on a lovely day. Great to take a stroll by the lake or through the Old English garden opposite the Danson House. The park is huge and has a play area for the kids which I recommend bringing swimwear during the summer. Car park is free during weekdays but £3 on weekends and bank holidays.

Excellent place to spend a day out with family/kids. Big boating lake where you can feed birds. Big and very well maintained playground for kids of all ages. Kiosk, where you can buy coffee, snacks or some warmed food, tables to sit and toilets (reasonable standard) available close to the playground. Danson Stable pub is popular and serves good food. However we did not like the burger from the kids menu (may be because we went there within the very busy hours), but kids fish and chips are amazing.

I photographed at Danson House late last year and it is a stunning place, a really helpful team too. Lots of photo opportunities and cool places to get some couple and group photos. 5*

We celebrated our registry wedding today, and we were grateful for the kindness and accommodation shown by the registrar and celebrant. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by an unpleasant encounter with a male member of staff whose rudeness brought the bride to tears. We had higher expectations from a venue with such a strong reputation, and it's disheartening for someone's words to have a negative impact on our wedding day.

Wonderful location for our big day! The ideal wedding setting for our small ceremony - beautifully positioned and perfectly presented. The staff were honestly so lovely - really welcoming and supportive throughout, making our whole experience perfect. Thank you!

Just a stunning Georgian villa built in 1766. It has five room in total (one is being used at the moment). In the entrance hall there is a large space for taking few nice photos and further in even more opportunities to snap some amazing pictures including the spectacular staircase. Just outside opposite the venue there is a lovely park with large, open spaces. If you go around the building you'll find even more open space with even a pond. If you are planning a reception you don't need to go far. There are few awesome restaurants nearby.

An excerpt from our latest wedding blog. A fantastic time as always at Danson House, Victor is a true asset to your team. "If you have ever been to a wedding at Danson House, you would have likely met the wonderful Victor who makes a fantastic host. Victor is a well loved fixture at Danson House and I will admit to having a bit of a soft spot for him. A true gentleman, Victor has the kindest soul and always works hard making everyones visit to Danson House special. He is the type of man who would make the perfect grandad; full of stories, an abundance of advice and a little cheekiness on the side. It was lovely to see him again after all this time and I hope he knows how appreciated he is"

I think it's quite expensive but it is very nice. The quality of the food and presentation is great and the staff are very polite and helpful. I had the salmon and cream cheese bagel, Spot on.

A beautiful grade 1 listed building, perfect venue for a wedding....or several!, as we found out! Being guests at a wedding, it had a stately home feel, very well appointed. Not long after the ceremony, there was another wedding group, so they were having their photos done, and Just before we left, yet another wedding group arrived!...talk about a conveyor belt system!! I believe they charge for professional wedding photos taken in the gardens. Exiting the park, towards the motorway, traffic was a total pain, you may want to set off earlier !!

Danson House is truly a beautiful registry office for a wedding occasion. Great access to the grounds for Bridal & Groom party transportation.

We had our wedding here 24/09/22 and everything ran smoothly and went amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the ceremony went perfect. I would recommend danson house to anyone planning a ceremony. We had the Johnston room for 12 people and that was perfect for us. Many thanks!

A beautiful place to get married in Kent. The garden nearby is a perfect scenery for a family shootout.

I was a bit disappointed with the amount of stalls, probably no more than 20. We took 2 buses to get there, the long walk through the park to reach the stalls outside Danson House, five minutes looking at the goods on sale and then the long walk out of park and 2 buses home. It was still nice to go and look though. It would be good to have more sellers with a variety of goods for sale at the next one 😊

Visited recently for afternoon tea. Awful service, rushed out of venue. Staff kept interrupting our celebration to remind us we needed to leave by a certain time. It meant we couldn't relax and enjoy and celebrate our celebrations. What a shame for such a lovely venue. Will not be returning nor recommending to others.

We just got married at Danson House and it was perfect. The venue is gorgeous, and the staff were amazing, both in the lead up and on the day.

Nice place for a walk but toilets are only near Manion and stables. The ones near the boat house need to be opened
