I stopped here with a friend for a pre-curry meal next door. This micro-pub is excellent. Good beer (and cider according to my friend). Very pleasant staff. My only minor issue was the goldfish bowl vibe with the big shop windows. I don’t suggest nets. But some artful planters with greenery would soften the slightly Spartan environment.

Excellent micro pub. Great range of ales plus there's even a lager for the heathens! 😁 Well worth a visit.

An excellent local micropub, with a wide selection of ciders, real ales and local lagers. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They do not serve food, but have good bar snacks - on Sundays the cheese board is a help-yourself freebie. Highly recommended.

Good local micro brewery. Good price point. Have a good selection of ales and some lagers for those who do not drink ales. Highly recommend.

Not quite sure why it’s smell here of dirty cloth everytime, but it’s not very pleasant. The place is quiet and tables are not being cleaned. The one we sat at was not clean from previous people crumps all over. Awful atmosphere…I will elaborate - no music and so it feels like people are listening each others conversations. Sorry but it always smell of dirty cloth, we’ve stopped going there because of the smell. We went back today to see if anything’s changed, but it was even worse then before.

The best pub I have ever been too. Welcoming, clean and friendly. Sundays they have a cheese board that is free. The staff are lovely people and have always been very kind and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone. They also have lots of entertainment on, quiz nights, music, seasonal events and much more. Keep an eye out on their website and Facebook page.

A modern micro pub minimal food, beer choice of beers OK popular with ladies on the way home from the office. There is one down if you have a smoker in your party, the fumes from the vehicles passing the smoking area,

Friendly small pub with excellent range of real ales and ciders. No music, phones, tv or machines. Not for everyone but I enjoy it and visit regularly. Fully back in business after COVID.

Brilliant micro pub, would definitely recommend. The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome. Great selection of rotating beers, at very reasonable prices. There is also usually a large selection of ciders and gins available. On a Sunday, you'll also find a complimentary selection of cheese and crackers. This place is dog friendly as well, with treats and water bowl on hand.

We love this place but really noisy and crowded tonight so took our drinks outside.

I find a lot of these micropubs a little stuffy, pretentious and precious. The beer can be too trendy for me and exotic when all you want is a couple of pints of well looked after session Beer. Well not so the Hackney carriage, it's friendly with a real mix of customers and the local Kentish session beer was superb. Been here a couple of times. Easily my favourite micropub.
