Visited for the fireworks display! Overall great experience, the ground was very slippery and could’ve benefited from some temporary walkways

Absolutely beautiful park. Beautiful lake. Beautifully kept gardens that are a credit to the gardeners who maintain them. Nice Cafes and a pub serving food as well and also a Woodland walk and a pond with fish in it. Absolutely lovely.

A very spacious park to visit. It was lovely walk around the lake where there was a little island for the ducks and geese to chill and relax on. Lots of trees and green green grass to feast your eyes on! There is a park for children to play and toilets which closes around 5pm. There is a restaurant called Danson Stables where you can use the toilets but they were in untidy and unclean conditions so up to you if you wish to use them. There was also a tiny funfair for the little ones! Not sure if that is a yearly thing for the local community but fun for kids for the kids in the summer! :) Other than that A good place to visit for the day! :)

Love this park for a Sunday morning walk, it's beautiful, peaceful, pretty clean and tidy, and a very nice walk, not hilly, good for dogs to run around. Great to see other dog walkers, runners, bike rides- it's an all rounder.

We had such a lovely day having afternoon tea here. Our waiter, George, was absolutely fantastic. We traveled all the way from Minnesota, United States to visit some family and have a traditional proper tea luncheon. The cappuccino was amazing, loved the green peach tea, sandwiches were absolutely delightful, scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam were out of this world and the sweets were wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and would highly recommend it to all. Next time we visit, we will probably be back here.

I didn’t realise how big this park is until I got to walk from the welling entrance to the blackfen exit . It’s massive! The walk along the way took in some very scenic and picturesque views including the lake which is massive alone ! And set in the middle is a rather impressive building pictured , used now as a council run service ? Which I can’t remember it’s function but loved the look of the building ,maybe a Victorian residence ? And possibly the park being the grounds belonging to the owners ? A lovely part of south east London/Kent borders . Take the kids or the dog or just yourself ! Down there it’s therapeutic

Ideal spot for picnics, gatherings, games and get togethers. Local hotspot for all of the above and regular dog walks. Paddle boarding and other water sport activities available on the boating lake. Pub located in the park also.

Beautiful park, lovely bar/restaurant, tea room in the mansion house which is a wedding venue with stunning views of the lake. There's also a splash park and children's playground and outdoor café near the lake, where you can kayak or hire a boat. Fabulous place!

Had many a lovely walk around these parts. I feel safe and comfortable around here. Lots of little places to sit and watch the world go by. As you can see there’s some grounds which are looked after by local residents which I think is lovely. The park is amazing for the kids and there’s so much to see here including a beautiful lake. If you walk around you’ll also find the Danson stables which is nice. A little walk away from main welling and also he tennis courts etc.

I couldn't rate this park more, I have two kids and have always taken then here not only for the play and water park but for the greenery, wild life and peaceful walks. Even if there's lots of dog walkers it's such a lovely place. The lake is home to many birds and ducks, and if your Lucky you'll catch a glimpse of the fish and rats that live there. The toilets are always in good working order when I have visited. I do think the little cafe at the boat house is a little pricey for tea and so on but it's nice if your taking someone for a treat. Don't even get me started on the English garden, it's beautiful and the volunteers keep it's well maintained and beautiful. I love sitting in there on summer days crocheting or reading. I even did a small photo shoot for my crochet pattern. In all Danson Park is a wonderful place to spend the day and have a picnic with friends or family.

I take my children 13/11 and 7 month pup here, training the pup off lead, other dog owners are polite and understanding with the hyper puppy!! Really clean park and grass area. The kids love the play park.

Lovely park with attractive gardens and plenty of picnic tables and benches scattered around the park. The lake provides a good opportunity to see a range of ducks and geese. With plenty of good parking , a well equipped children's playground, café and pub there is everything you need at Danson Park for a family day out.

Lovely grounds to get lost in. Plenty of parking. Plenty of places to sit, relax and get a drink. A few water and other sports to do here as well. The splash park could do with a bit of an upgrade.

Sadly the weather was rubbish (cold and drizzling), there is a pub, playground, boat pool and lovely green fields to walk through. It was a bit muddy because of the rain, but there were a large handful of people still tracking around. There was even an orientation course being run. I can see this place being packed during the British summer.
