I booked a spa day & over night stay for myself and my two daughters who were in much need of some chill time. We arrived excited and got to the spa area and were told that the sauna and steam room were not available due to refurbishment. (May I add this spa day was booked through Spaseekers) one of my daughter was really looking forward to using the sauna so we were very disappointed. We then were gave our robes and went to sit by the pool side on the sun loungers, only to find that swimming lessons were taking place for babies and toddlers! I love kids, I work with them but to have them splashing and squealing whilst I’ve paid for a relaxing spa day was not what we expected and the lessons went on till 12.00! To then top it off the refurbishment started so we not only had excited loud babies and children to listen to but banging and the sound of an electric saw every five minutes. We had our treatments (the young girl was lovely) but they were hardly luxury treatments. (My daughter is a beautician) so we knew what to expect and it certainly wasn’t that! We couldn’t stand it and after two hours left. I will be expecting a full refund. The hotel itself was lovely with friendly reception staff and the bar man was very attentive and helpful and our stay over was fine. The spa should most definitely not be advertised as a spa in our opinion. It certainly wasn’t a serene escape as you advertised!

Now this is a review on the spa and not the actual hotel itself. When I walked through the hotel itself it was nice and clean and smelt lovely but the spa is another story. I don’t like bad reviews either but 1) people need to be warned 2) I’ve written to the spa manager, Claire and got no response. I got to the spa and paid £25 for the ‘pleasure’. I have been in many spas and this is by far the worse. It’s genuinely dirty, the changing rooms and run down and are in desperate need of an update as well as a good clean. The water fountain in the changing rooms doesn’t work, the showers have no doors, under the lockers is all broken. Now for the actual spa itself, it’s not clean, there was kids swimming classes going on and taking over half the pool. You go to a spa to relax but how can you relax when there’s loud kids there? To be honest, with the dirtiness I couldn’t relax anyway. I tried the steam room, which again was so run down and again felt dirty with broken tiles and just genuinely grim. The sauna was the exact same. I stayed for around 40 minutes or so just because I wanted to try and relax but wasn’t possible as I felt like I was going to catch something. Never again. Be warned. Also I’d like to add the spa receptionist admitted ‘we get that a lot’ in regards to complaints and also ‘it’s in need of an update’ not mentioning names on here because I don’t want said individual to get in trouble.

Very friendly staff; they really were the highlight of our visit. Location is good if you need to be in Bexleyheath, although far from train stations. We were upgraded to a superior room, which is essentially is a junior suite. We also received drink vouchers free breakfast, as a titanium member. Breakfast was quiet and met expectations. For a Delta Hotel, this was above what I expected and will recommend it to anyone! Only improvement would be to refresh the bathrooms, and add chromecast to the TV.

A 4 star hotel that doesn’t meet 4star requirements. For example none of our rooms had fridges, drinking water, working air conditioning. The hotel is very dated which would be fine, however it is dirty and mouldy. (One of our rooms had black mould in the bathroom in various places) The customer service is very lacking from front of house and management. We were overcharged for our room rates and complained to which they are refunding the over payment, but no apology for the rest of our disappointing stay. Breakfast was lovely and chef Alex makes a lovely omelette. However the staff in the restaurant are rude and dismissive. We had to clean our own table to be able to sit down. Overall a rather disappointing stay that is very expensive. I would avoid and save yourself so fortune by starting in the premier inn up the road.

I am excited to write a glowing review for the hotel where Claire and Elizabeth provided exceptional customer service during my stay. Their commitment to ensuring a memorable experience truly made a difference and enhanced my overall stay. Claire, with her warm and friendly demeanor, set the perfect tone for a welcoming arrival. She went above and beyond to ensure that we was comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Her attention to detail and genuine care for guests' satisfaction were truly commendable. During breakfast, Elizabeth's attentiveness and exceptional service stood out. She greeted us with a warm smile, ensuring a positive start to the day. Elizabeth's genuine care for guests needs and making sure we had a good breakfast by bringing our more bread, tea and coffee made the breakfast experience truly enjoyable. The hotel itself was also outstanding, with comfortable rooms, excellent amenities and a convenient location. However, it was the outstanding customer service provided by Claire and Elizabeth that truly set this hotel apart. Their professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication to guest satisfaction made a lasting impression. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and experiencing the exceptional customer service provided by Claire and Elizabeth. Their commitment to making each guest feel valued and cared for is truly exceptional. Thank you for creating a memorable and enjoyable stay.

You should be careful with this place. I booked a room on Marriott Bonvoy points, they did the standard incidental hold on my credit card. Then posted the transaction and for 15 days now have refused to refund the charge. It’s fraud, and I will now dispute with my issuing credit card. I called them 3 times and was told it was training, then my bank is the issue. Not true.

I had a birthday party yesterday the food was nice but my party was ruined because of the music. I can not understand why the music has to be so low. For African’ you cannot have music so low why have you not put sound proof in your hotels. My guest were very disappointed eventually the manager turned the music of manager was very rude and abrupt even before this. Many of my guest left the venue I am very disappointed.

The pool is closed, the heating in all of the rooms is not working. If you speak to anyone at the desk they gaslight you and tell you it's not a hotel wide problem. When you can quite clearly see that they are wheeling electric heaters across the hotel and you can hear others making the same complaints. They offered a second duvet and an additional electric heater, they only brought a heater. When we asked about the duvet they told us there were none that they could find as they had handed so many out. I just think it makes a complaint so much worse when the supervisor tells you that they are not aware of there being any problems but it is just not true. They claim to have updated the website about the pool, when in fact they have just removed the pools existence, the absence of information is not information. When we booked using a third party website it told us there was a pool. To top it off - we have been woken at 8.30am on a Saturday by banging on the ceiling. No one at any point told us there was construction happening in the hotel. The irony is that we are staying here because there is construction happening in our own home and we wanted to stay someone comfortable for a couple of days to get some rest. If the manager is reading this, you are extremely lucky to have staff who seem to have amazing patience in dealing with the amount of complaints they are receiving, I hope they soon realise their worth and find jobs at a different hotel. Whoever made the decision to continue taking bookings after the heating has been broken for over a week and to not inform people that construction was happening or simply put on the website the pool is closed rather than remove any evidence of it ever existing is the one at fault.

I stayed here in a deluxe room 7 years ago and had been very happy with the quality of the room. However, this time there was a cupboard door for the fridge but no fridge. There was no soap/hand gel in the bathroom so asked at reception for soap and was told they didn't have any but they gave me 2 small tubes of hand gel. I asked if I was in a "deluxe room" as this was what I had booked and paid for and was told that only the superior rooms had a fridge. It was irritating to be reminded that "deluxe rooms" used to include a fridge but doesn't now, why not take the cupboard out. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very tired looking and I don't feel they are value for money. The 1 vial of complementary shampoo conditioner, bath gel etc was not enough for 2 people so overall, not "deluxe" at all. The breakfast was good though with plenty of choice.

Nice, spacious room, shame the aircon wasn't working. Wish I had have used the gym and the swimming pool, maybe next time. Breakfast service needs better management but all round, nice Marriot experience. Room service prices weren't a rip off which makes a change for big hotel chains. Carpark next to the hotel is convenient. Feather pillows were better substitutes from the usual foam ones.

We've stayed there last night our room was very spacious facing court yard where was nice and quiet.Bed was very comfortable and we've had a deacent night sleep.Natalia in the reception was very helpful and professional she is definitely a big asset to a hotel team. Selection of tv channels was little limited not sure if you have to pay to have access to a bigger veraiety? But this is not a show stopper because we dont watch to much of it anyway. Overall very good hotel will definitely come back.

Stayed here a couple of times, all the staff from reception, to food and beverage staff are very professional, very welcoming and make your stay here a pleasure. The only down side is, if you look at the pictures you’d presume it has a spa. I’m told it does but it’s not in use anymore. Real shame as surely they should delete the pictures, so people don’t book like I did thinking they can have a spa. When you ask the staff why it’s not open they all say they “don’t know why it’s not open” First Marriott I’ve ever been to where the spa is no longer available for use. Every Marriott I’ve ever stayed in always has a functioning pool and spa. If it’s never going to reopen then maybe Marriott should delete all the pictures of the spa that come up on Google. Other than that a great hotel, great staff, nice food. Rooms are cosy and very roomy. Till next time thank you for a good Christmas Stay.

Good location. Rooms not up to the usual Marriott standard and bathroom / toilet a bit dated. Stood around waiting for breakfast with no one willing to help or seat us. Asked twice if we could get a table. Told to wait. No response and no action taken. Still waiting several minutes later. Staff need more training in how to treat paying customers.

Very nice place friendly staff and good service, nice breakfast. I have one question is the car park just for the hole? If so why do you have to pay to stay in it as well .

Having a reason to visit the Bexleyheath area quite often, I am spending quite a bit of time at the Delta. While the rooms (especially the bathrooms) are a little dated, they are clean and comfortable. Located close to the A2 makes getting around easy. Being just a short walk to Bexleyheath Broadway gives easy access to shopping and eating. The staff, front desk and bar, are wonderful and make even longer stays pleasant. Great value for money.

Hotel is centrally located .. Close to public transportation and lots of eating/shopping areas. The hotel lobby is welcoming .. The rooms are very spacious but not as clean as I would like. I doubt the bedsheet was changed from the previous guest. The duvet cover had some blood /other body fluid stains on it, the carpet wasn’t vacuumed and the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would like. Bed was comfortable but the temperature in the room was freezing. Thermostat was useless and they eventually brought me heaters which helped .Overall a nice hotel to spend a couple nights.

Service was great. Everyone there is really friendly and they are the only reason I would say go there. However the rooms and hotel are in general dated. And the heat didn’t work. In fact if you turned it on it made the room colder. Location really depends what you’re looking for so it’s hard to rate this. There is definitely places around and there is pretty good public transportation however in comparison to somewhere more central London it obviously isn’t going to compare. We tended to take Uber to train station (bexleyheath or abbey wood) as the buses just seemed really long.

Beautiful entrance, polite staff and smells fresh. Rooms were dirty stale food, rusty taps, stains on the carpet that look like bodily fluids! Hairs on dresser it just wasn’t worth the money. The rooms need to match the pricing we paid £184 for 1 night. The cleaners kept distributing us even though checkout was at 12pm. Overall would I stay there again…Yes if I needed to be that side of kent. But otherwise no I wouldn’t go out of my way purely due to the cleanliness of the hotel as other than that it’s a lovely hotel.

Friendly welcome, but got worse from there. Room could be cleaner/ fresher. Housekeeping every third day unless requested otherwise - this was not made clear. When I requested some clean towels on 2nd night they never came.

Decent environment. Very disappointed with the food and machine instant coffee provided at the cafe area. Would visit more often if the food and hot drinks were better quality. Missed opportunity here.

Build in 1992,renovated in 2005.Spacious room's maintained as good as possible.Staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is a highlight. Nice Bar and Restaurant with nice selection of local and international dishes. Convenient near by public transport links.Nice Spa,pool,Gym and Sauna. It is not a 5star hotel. Anymore. When I stayed there a few year ago. It was definately a 5star and more. The beds were springy not like b4 and the breakfast wasn't.bad but could have been better. Although we upgraded our room not once but twice it didn't make any difference. Won't be staying there again or any Delta hotels.

Good size room, nicely decorated but bed quite firm. Free WiFi worked fine. Tea and coffee facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Good provision of on-site parking but not free. TV didn't work properly (failed to load start-up screen), wash basin cracked, toilet seat missing a rubber bumper, no fridge (but a cabinet was labelled "fridge"). Didn't try the restaurant.

Definitely did not meet our expectations! We booked a room there for 4 nights as family and friends of Marriott members (three weeks in advance). On the day of arrival, the receptionist told us that the hotel is overbooked and they don't have any rooms free for us! They ended up giving us probably the worst room in the hotel where nothing worked as it was supposed to including the locker, toilet flush, and telephone! We changed the room the day after. Generally, the rooms were OK but not for a four-star Marriott hotel! They do not have any refrigerators, the rooms are too noisy, and we were constantly bothered in the middle of the night by the Ambulance alarm from the street or other rooms. The staff is not friendly at all. Most of them are not informed of all the rules at the hotel. For one simple question about discounts on breakfast, I had to go twice between the kitchen and reception without any clear answer. I would say there was only one receptionist there that looked nice. The location is good in terms of access to bus stations. However, you should most likely change to underground in between.. so always count on at least 1 hour to reach the city centre. So I do not recommend this hotel to those who wish to enjoy their stay in a quiet and respectful hotel at all!

I came here with my mum and mother In law in June 2022 we had such a great time, the full body massage was amazing and the therapists were lovely and friendly 5 stars. I had such a good experience that for my birthday I came again with my husband in September and what a huge disappointment the therapists were different my one put so much oil on my body massage techniques were very poor and no massage on hands and feet. My husband wasn't happy with his treatment either. A total let down. It would have been nice to be informed there will be no steam due to refurbishment and also by booking in the morning there will be swimming lessons for toddlers which didn't make the experience relaxing at all.

Beautiful rooms, great dinner menu and very good location with parking on site. Staff friendly and polite. To the cons, phone in my room was broken, complained in my first night and when I left was still broken. Shower hot water was dripping, if only it had half of the pressure of the cold water. Parking is a bit too small if you are driving a lager vehicle such as an SUV, but you can still fit. I parked a transit mid size but most nights had to use two spaces.

Lovely bar with just the right setting/ambience for a nice chilled out drink and catch up. Isa is one of the best barmen ever and a top guy too, very interesting and super friendly. Price wise it’s a little above the average for a place in Bexleyheath but what you would expect from a hotel. The restaurant and surrounding facilities all look good too although we did not eat. The toilets and rest of the public area are very clean and tidy and the place is well kept in general.

  • 3/5 Omar R. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel's location is convenient and easy to find. The hotel is visibly clean throughout. The room was super clean but was short on toiletries: shampoo & body wash. The AC in the room is absolutely worthless as it didn't provide cold air although it was extremely loud... it sounded like a lawnmower. It was best just to turn it off and open the windows. The 3pm check-in is a bit much....most hotels have a 2pm check in and some will allow the guest to check in at 1pm. But 3pm is not the standard.

Spent a week at the Marriott bexleyheath for a work trip and was very happy with my stay! Clean room and fresh towels and flannels every day. Staff was amazing and couldn’t do more for you. Restaurant food was great and breakfast was always fresh. Definitely will be booking here again

Currently a gym member, needs a deep deep clean, updating and friendlier staff. Gym equipment is ok but a bit small and crowded as soon as more than three people. For a " 4 "star hotel and the prices charged, I expect better. Cater more to kids swim classes than adults.

I went on a spa day at the Marriot, Bexleyheath as I was thinking of paying for membership. The showers were out of order and changing room was in need of a deep clean. In fact the leisure centre looked like it needed a full refurbishment. I was very disappointed with my spa day.

Spa day & Afternoon Tea for 30 Wedding Anniversary, service was OK & food pretty basic. Only had 30 minute treatment instead of 55 minutes due to short staffed. Voucher given for the remaining 25 minutes. We travelled for over an hour to get to this place.
