Kelsey Park is absolutely beautiful, mainly because of the many old trees. I just live green spaces and characterful trees that I want to sit under or take photos of. What I enjoyed were the lakes and little unexpected pockets of water. There were loads of ducks waddling across the grasses areas and floating in the lake. Seats are dotted around the large park. Another lovely feature was the cafe. It’s large has great range of food and drink and ice creams. And on the day we visited the large outdoor seating area was packed with families and dogs. We had hot drinks and some delicious paprika and truffle fries! Why don’t more cafes sell flavoured fries? They weren’t cheap but they were more IAG. Cant wait to visit this park again when I’m next in Beckenham.

A beautiful park in all seasons, especially for the families. Geese, ducks, birds and squirrels to feed. There’re many green areas for picnics or to play on. There’s a big playground with a cafe in park. Also, I don’t think this park is one of the best options for running since children, little family members and animals are around. Beckenham is so lucky to have Kelsey Park! 🍀

What a beautiful park. Had a lovely picnic with the grandchildren. Lovely vibe. Just a few irresponsible people who drop rubbish & don’t bother picking up the dog poo! Toilets cafe and of course the ice-cream van 😎

Wonderful memories when visiting recently, my children always loved their visits here when growing up. A fabulous place to just ‘be’ a very mindful experience, beautiful park.

What a beautiful place. I've been here a few times with family and friends and it is such a peaceful and serene area. Plenty of space for picnics, games and great walks. There is a lovely lake in the centre with lots of wildlife and friendly squirrels, swans, geese, ducks and birds. Great place for a day out. Park for free on Manor road where there is an entrance to the park. There is also a large playground for children of all ages. I have dropped a star because the toilet facilities aren't great, but okay. Also the bridge to cross the lake was closed so when you're on the other side of the lake and your little one needs the loo urgently it's a bit of a walk to get there!

Went here with my partner, this is a lovely large park with lots of open space and ponds. There are a lot of benches throughout the park and different birds to see. We were very comfortable here its nice and peaceful. We will be going there again and recommend anyone who enjoys nature and walks.

What a lovely park to visit. So much to do in the children's play area, all differentiated. There was something to do for all ages. The trail to eas also lovely, got feeding the squirrels, they were super brave... overall spent a good 3 hours in the park. And the weather definitely did us well.

Kelsey Park is one of pretty well maintained easy to reach parks south of London. Another ideal place for day out for a picnic on hot summer days.

A nice park with a good cafe, ice-creams, light lunch or breakfast. Also has a large lake with ducks and enough space for picnics near the cafe. I would avoid it at night as it has a bad reputation after sunset.

Lovely park. Take a lovely stroll around and you’ll spot several different garden birds and plenty of ducks, geese and swans including the beautiful mandarin duck. Nice island in the centre of the lake (not accessible) of trees filled with herons and their nests. Very friendly squirrels which will take peanuts from your hands and some will happily climb up your legs for them. Also a lovely play area for the children. A great family day out for animal/nature lovers. I’ve been many times and still enjoy every trip! Great for photography opportunities too!

This park is glorious haven't been for years. Well worth a visit children love it and there is a playground area to. Very good for dog walkers as well. You can take a picnic in the Summer as alot of green area. There is a cafe we a seating area with very friendly staff so you can have a meal a snack drinks nice hot chocolate or ice-cream The only thing wrong was the toilets in the park are absolutely disgusting men and women's.

Lovely park with a many different species of bird life and even friendly water rats. The lake could do with some rubbish clearance and tlc, and the trees and bushes around the lake could do with management to increase visibility and accessibility to the lake. But still a nice place to visit for a picnic.

Pleasant town park. Coffee available from cafe adjacent to the children's play area. Not to busy on Sunday morning, but was there early. Families, dog walkers, joggers all intermingling. Pigeons and squirrels will get very friendly if you have food. Watch giving snacks to young children as animals aren't fussy who they take it from!

Beautiful park with attached lake with lots of different birds including swans, many times I've come here and seen the peaceful doves around there are also many walkways here to. Cafe inside with swing park with plenty of space for the kids to play. Love the walkway over the small bridge where running water is running underneath, the sounds are amazing. Well kept and very clean.. so peaceful 😌

One of the most picturesque parks in Beckenham. Great for locals that want a low impact, easy walk. The playground ticks all the boxes for all ages and the cafe is superb! My favourite halloumi fries in Beckenham, can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, huge portions so great value for the price. The staff are fantastic and super friendly!

Beautiful park in all weather conditions. Lots of wildlife and also tropical plant sections. Looks like botanical Gardens - well exceedes your normal public park options. Absolutely stunning.

Beautiful park in Beckenham. A historical park with huge spaces to sit and picnic, a large children's playground, lake, walks. Spent the day there and was brilliant for a picnic. Toilets Available but had run out of toilet paper but this was towards the end of the day. Cafe was serving hot and cold food and drinks and ice cream vans were also there. Recommended

The best park I know, and I knew nothing of it until my girlfriend took me there for the first time many years ago now. Former grounds of Kelsey Lodge (gone I'm afraid). Come and see the Herons on the island, feed nuts to the squirrels (the tamest ones I've ever seen), and definitely have lunch at the café with all-weather seating. (Great food and coffee at a reasonable price) Mini golf, Tennis Courts and playground.

this is a lovely park for a stroll with something for everyone; tree lined paths, streams, flowerbeds, open areas for picnics, childrens play area, cafe, and a lake which is especially great for those who love to see ducks, swans and other birds

Beautiful park with picnic areas. Dogs are allowed but only on a specific route. There are toilets in the park

  • 5/5 Jackie S. 9 months ago on Google
Absolutely my favourite park. Has been left to go a little 'wild' which just means there's such an abundance of wildlife. The café is fabulous - great coffee and a wonderful salad, plus a plethora of other food choices. The only disappointment is the toilets which need a complete overhaul gbut tgat doesn't detract from this absolute jewel.

Beautifully presented and well maintained park in a very well-heeled corner of Beckenham. Lots of shouty yummy mummies and their adorable little darlings! Otherwise delightful.

Really beautiful park to visit for a relaxing stroll. It’s nice that one side is dog friendly and that you can easily walk through to get to other areas e.g. Harvington or Beckenham high street. There is a really good cafe as well as mini golf.
