Decent parking and lots of seating, but the food was average at best and bar tables a bit unclean so wiped them down ourselves. The chicken skewers had minimal meat and vegetarian Camembert and cherry tomato tart fairly tasteless. It just felt average. Good place for a pint perhaps but maybe skip the food.

It was Harvester, what more can you say? Well, I could say that the food here is far better than I have come to expect from The Harvester. Edit: having seen the reply from the owner I have chosen to upgrade my food and service scores to 5 stars as I feel that they are actually deserved and my initial score did not accurately reflect the service and food we received. We come in here quite often and haven't had a bad meal. The restaurant is actually in a nice location, too.

At the front desk, the gentleman asked if we were OK with stairs, as my wife is on crutches, good selection of 0% Alcohol drinks, didn't have Simply Salmon on which was a shame, so I had the Cod and Chips. It was actually amazing nice. Excellent batter. My wife enjoyed her combo. The salad cart was simplistic but nice. For desert, I had the crumble. I wish I hadn't. The crumble was lumpy, hard and far too sweet. The rest was fine. All in all though very nice, comfortable and clean. Although the chairs, the front corners dig into my leg. The service was excellent. Shame about the lack of Salmon and bad crumble.

Highly recommend this Harvester for food. Amazing and very helpful staff, thank you to our waitresses Kayla & Mandy for everything, and to the general manager Dave for attending to an accident my partner had with his glass. Couldnt fault this on anything today!! Will 100% be returning again. Best place to go! Also a massive thank you to the Chefs Gemma & Ellie, food was amazing and cooked perfectly.

POOR POOR food quality. 1/2 chicken tasted like it was precooked, frozen then reheated. BBQ chicken was cheap quality chicken with mass produced sauce poorly cooked. Only adequate items was starter foods which was obviously premade then deep-fried. This restaurant ONLY got two stars because of good service.

My friends and I came for a Sunday morning breakfast. We were seated promptly and our order arrived in good time and the food was good Unfortunately we were sitting next to a radiator that didn't appear to have seen a cleaner for months. There was food and all sorts behind it. My friend works in hospitality and flagged this up to the staff, who will hopefully have rectified the situation.

It seems that i am not the only one who can call out Oscar and his amazing service provided he went above and beyond to ensure that the meal was perfect and handle all allergy issues better than i have ever received. Given the pandemic and him being relatively new he had customers being rude and refusing to wear masks by the law and still strived to give all his customers a great service! Thanks Oscar best waiter I have ever had ever in a restaurant

The person that was on the reception desk was wearing his coat which did not give a welcome feeling maybe because it was cold in the building, which it was. Our server was polite and had no issues with here. Lot of the soft drinks where out of stock at the bar and the refill machine. The meat served was only warm.

Would of given a 5 star rating if they hadn't turn up the AC so high. It was warmer outside than it was inside

Visited the Cricketers again and have to say that the service was fantastic. Oscar looked after us the whole time we were here and couldn't have done more for us. We had the dirty burger and the chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles was to die for! Highly recommend! Will be coming back soon!

My family loves Harvester! We love celebrating our birthdays here. Food is always delicious. Staff are always friendly and helpful! My children love to pop in here after school or for lunch, as they know they can create thier own ice cream

Had a lovely breakfast here today with family. Although they were heavily busy, the waitress on the floor, Kayla, was incredibly patient, efficient and so kind. The food was excellent but to be honest what made our experience so good was our server Mel. She was above first class. Her customer service was the best I've ever experienced. She was professional but also really friendly and her wit was amazing. She is an asset to the establishment. I don't know what she is paid but whatever it is she is worth so much more.

Visited for a second time this evening and was delighted to find that we had the same server as our first visit. Mel is the jewel in the Crown in my opinion. She went over and above expectations just as she did on our first visit. Excellent food and excellent service at a reasonable price. We will be visiting again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Seated on time. Food was good. Frustrating having to be served our salad, as that used to be a fun part (with no pressure) when dining at a Harvester. Felt the need to decide quickly what we wanted from salad bar, as someone waiting on us - even though they were very lovely.

Had a great experience, all our food come out hot without delay. The only let down our table and the one next to where we sat weren't cleaned and felt sticky/ clammy with same food particle still on the table. The table next to me cleaned there table by using the menu to remove the food of the table. Overall it was a good experience and will return to this establishment, fingers crossed the tables will be cleaned this time.

What a lovely restaurant. Went for breakfast for the first time today. Amazing value for money. Really delicious. Kelly our waitress was an absolute star⭐. She was attentive, polite, wore a permanent smile and very professional. Don't take my word it. Be sure to check it out yourself. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommend ❤

Friday night with some good food. The steak was juicy and just right, along with the ribs. Recommend the Christmas menu with a touch of festive seasoning.

Went out for my Siblings birthday, been here many times before, and the service we got from Mel was amazing. She was humorous, mindful of all dietry requirements and was very lovely. Well deserving of praise and it was a pleasure to be served by her. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience thanks to Mel!

We where a group of 3 to celebrate my daughters 21 in this day, pre booked. Front of house staff, where welcoming and attentive. Once orders had been placed and drinks at the table, we noticed that our cocktails had brown mint in them, this was clear to see by the bar person, should not have served it like this! We then went to select our salad bar part of the meal to find it empty, I mean empty! Just 2 rolls that were very dry. No pineapple. peppers, croutons, few onions, dry pasta, yuk! We have not been to a harvester for many years, our restaurant of choice closed. I was a great lover of the salad bar as a high light of my steak meal. Yesterdays experience has sent me and my family back to Beefeater. We has a voucher, thank goodness as I would not have wanted to pay the bill without it. Over priced experience by comparison to other steak house style pub food establishments. Felt a bit grubby, table sticky, don't like the idea that cutlery is stored in the centre of table, the child no another table was playing with this, it was all put back by the family and then used for the next customers!

Went to the harvester / cricketers last Saturday for a family dinner. Didn’t book a table in advance so was a little worried we couldn’t get a table, however the amazing staff couldn’t of been more accommodating to me and party of 6 and found us a table within 10 minutes. Food amazing! Staff friendly and helpful! Great atmosphere! Defo recommend the full rack of ribs! Had a brilliant experience! Thanks Harvester you will be seeing us again soon! X

The food was good and cheap but the rest was an absolute disaster. The place was disgusting. The chairs and tables were greasy and sticky. There was dirt, rubbish and food on the floor where we wanted to sit. We repeatedly asked for our area to be cleaned before we were able to sit. We were messed around with the tables and chairs, waiters asking us to get up and give them the chairs to accommodate another table (because we weren't meant to have those chairs?). The service was absolutely rubbish. Staff including the manager are careless, unpleasant and rude. We constantly had to get up to get served and ask for our food / items. Brought us the wrong sides and then the wrong desserts and then never brought the correct ones in the end. It was a battle to get a refund. This was my 2nd visit (I wanted to give them a chance) but I had the same horrible experience as during my 1st visit. Will never go back and would not recommend either. This harvester is terrible. I made a formal complaint to Harvester.

Food was great, staff were friendly. After main meals were cleared took ages for anyone to come over and ask if we wanted dessert and then take dessert order. Aldo not enough waiting staff on was difficult to get anyone’s attention when we wanted more drinks. Then after it not being our fault that dessert etc took so long to get menus and order we were told the table was needed so had to rush our hot drinks.

Food was great, except for the beyond burger had a weird sauce on it which was unpleasant. The staff were great though and changed it for me making a new one without the sauce. Couldn't fault the service. Be careful parking there.. we met up with friends we hadn't seen for a while and chatted for ages. As we left we noticed that the parking was just for 3 hours. Missed getting a ticket by by 3 minutes. That could have been more prominent as you added your registration in the bar.. just completely missed that info on the way in. I think maybe because I had recently visited a Harvester and there was no time limit on parking so I thought they must all be the same.

AVOID! RUDE STAFF, DISGUSTING FACILITIES. We came for Father's day and were surprised to find that our table had food, menus, grease, rubbish and more under and over our table. We asked to have it cleaned before we sat down. It didn't happen. After about the 4th time we asked they cleaned it. The food was ok but the staff were rude. They didn't serve us the right food then complained to us that the food we ordered and paid for was not on the menu. Only until we showed the staff the menu again did they then bring out our order correctly. However we were only served half of our dessert order and when we asked and asked and asked we were told that we had been served all that we were going to get. When we asked for the manager, he was rude and told us that we were not entitled to a refund and should be grateful for the food that we DID get. The staff accused us of lying to the manager in front of the whole restaurant and in the end we got a partial refund and the manager expected us to beg for it.

I visited on Saturday night for the first time, the place was very crowed and loud. First impression wasn't too good. But once the loud people left we enjoyed our meal, can't fault the food really, except the salad bar was almost empty. I would visit again in the future on a week night so it wouldn't be so busy as we just wanted a quiet enjoyable meal. The waitress was welcoming and helpful and the price was reasonable.

I have to say Harvester seem to have upped their game!! Service was very good and friendly at the tables.....food was really good had chicken kebab 1 skewer, thank god because it was FILLING!! And of course had what we all went for in the 80's/90's Salad bar, but there could be have more on it, which was a bit of a shame but overall pretty decent!

A Harvester? I went with low expectations but was actually pleasantly suprised. Very good service, food not bad and at reasonable prices. Beer selection limited - just kegs of mainly lager. Quiet atmosphere, there was some piped music but only in the bar area (why not get rid of it altogether? nobody wants it). Not somewhere I'd make a point of visiting but if you want a fair priced meal and good service then I'd say it's worth considering.

Last night I was part of a party to get together for our Christmas celebration despite it was only 7.30 they had run out of pre ordered starters the salad bar needed refilling and one of our party ha to wait for her dinner until everyone else had virtually finished. There was no Christmas atmosphere which was v disappointing I have been to this restaurant several times it has always been excellent before.

I recently dined at Harvester restaurant, and it was a delightful experience! The food was excellent, especially the diverse options at the salad bar. The staff was incredibly courteous, making the atmosphere warm and welcoming. A special shoutout to Gary, whose attentive service added an extra touch to our visit – making it truly special. Highly recommended!

Friendly, good service, food was lovely.

They advertise breakfast but are NEVER open at the correct time, I have had pointless journeys to be told by the maintenance cleaner guy that he doesn't actually know when they open just try later. This is not acceptable and I will not be travelling here to eat again. Absolute waste of time if you are planning on having breakfast! It will be lunchtime before they actually open.

The service was great really nice service, but the food was horrible, I don't know if the kitchen team is having a crisis because the food was nasty. I had the belly pork and my daughter had the macaroni cheese, both were not good. It was all out of a packet, I don't know but none of it seamed fresh. But if your just going there for a drink you will have a good time as the staff are great

Nice modernised harvester. The time we visited got quite busy. We had 3 main meals between us. The salad was fresh and quite a variety to choose from. Two out of 3 of our chips we had to send back because they was just warm but the waitress was very helpful and came back with some fresh ones. We waited 10 mins for the spit roast chicken as they had ran out but it came out freshly cooked. The puddings was yummy had a nice selection

We were served by Oscar on 5/12/20 and he was one of the nicest waiters we’ve ever had. Warm, friendly, attentive and professional. All staff were lovely but Oscar stood out in particular

Really good in here tonight. Had to sit in the bar because the restaurant was full, which wasn't a problem. Not the quickest wait for mains but the salad cart sufficed to kill the time. Not the friendliest but what you expect, well done

We went to yet another Harvester for a nice Saturday family birthday 🤗 just after restaurants were all ready to take their customers back in!! They had a planned layout for entry and exit. Dedicated areas for family with kids!! Such a help! They were following all precautions and had sanitisers and wipes available at desks. So our entry to exit journey was as follows- 1. Entered through the door, were asked to sanitise our hands and fill in details for track and trace. One person for the family. 2. We were allocated a nice corner table with a high chair. ( We had made a prior reservation a day ago) 3. The table and chairs were all wiped down and drinks and food menus were placed on the table for us to order. 4. We were advised on hows the best way to order as they were taking orders in a certain format( all drink orders first, all food orders later) 5. The famous unlimited salad bar was not open to all access anymore... But a member of staff would accompany with each one of you and fill in the plates for you. ( They wanted to limit people using and lingering around the salad bar- very thoughtful) only one family at a time was allowed for this. 6. Our drinks and food arrived... And of course we gobbled it all... As it was yummm as always. 7. The payment was though the standard machine but they got it at your table so that limite people move around. 8. We were asked to exit from the assigned doors. It was a very different sit down dine experience but it was well planned and executed! Kudos to the team😌 Hope this helps others planning to take the trip for some nice Sunday Roast!!

This site is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. everytime I want to go to a fair meal, this is the place that comes instantly to my mind. fresh and diverse food and a rich menu.professional team, and agreeable atmosphere. Also important, the cost is reasonable. I suggest this spot with no hesitation.

Quite pricey and good not wonderful. Sundaes looked nothing like the picture. Didn't like being served my salad as it felt awkward to get more if we wanted to. The same with the refill drinks.

The staff don’t make it clear about thing for example the staff said we could get are salads are selfs but when I got the salad the same man said we wasn’t aloud too so they need to make up there mind about the COVID policy and all stuff maybe need to read the policy again and the food was not nice and not cooked properly my chicken ribs were red and the blood went over most of the food
