Open House Weekend tour visit to One Canada Square Canary Wharf. Very impressive and unique London skyline views from the 39th foor of Canary Wharf looking down the River Thames towards the west into central London. Bird's-eye views of lots of the key landmark buildings - The Shard, BT Tower, The Gherkin, The Leadenhall Building, The Walkie-talkie, Tower 42 etc....

Very interesting and agitated area. A lot of business/office personnel around the area. There is a mall with a good variety of commercial options and food. The scenario of the park and the roof garden are amazing. In my opinion, this is a good spot to enjoy the chaos and the peace mixed out over here.

The feeling of being surrounded by skyscrapers is definitely something that most of us like. I mean in my opinion. So when you go visit London you best visit one Canada square. You have everything that you can imagine. A part from small shops, you can find banks, restaurants, hotels and leisure. Highly recommend

Colourful and calming walk way and ideal for taking social media photos or videos in. The building is modern and surrounded with little hidden pockets of beautiful green areas for you to relax in during your lunch or coffee breaks.

Beautiful place and really nice views Canary Wharf. It is placed the second tallest structure in in London. One Canada Square used to be the first one at the moment of open in 1991, but after the Shard open, become the second. The place is full with commercial center and on need, you can book a room for your business meetings or you can apply for a membership.

The event I went to was about the community grant to support local projects in three categories. 1. Education 2. Employment 3. Biodiversity There were comfy chairs and sofas in L39, which I believe is a type of co-working space/cafe/lounge for employers to chill and relax as well as an event space. Nice toilets

One Canada Square is part of Canary Wharf in London. It is a dynamic and iconic district that truly showcases the city's modernity and innovation. The architecture in this area is nothing short of impressive. The dominant feature is the ensemble of towering skyscrapers, each displaying its unique design and character. One of the standout buildings is One Canada Square, often referred to as the Canary Wharf Tower. With its sleek, pyramid-like shape, it was once the tallest building in the UK, offering breathtaking panoramic views of London from its observation deck. The building's stainless steel cladding and reflective glass facade add to its elegant appearance. Another noteworthy structure is the HSBC Tower, also known as 8 Canada Square. This building stands out with its distinctive trapezoidal shape, featuring a series of diamond-shaped facets that give it a striking visual appeal. The Citigroup Centre, or 25 Canada Square, showcases an innovative and eye-catching design with its curved glass exterior, resembling a modern take on the traditional corporate tower. Canary Wharf is also home to the Crossrail Place Roof Garden, a unique and sustainable structure with an impressive timber lattice roof, housing a lush garden that offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. Overall, the architecture in Canary Wharf represents a harmonious blend of futuristic and contemporary design. The district's buildings not only provide functional spaces for businesses but also contribute to London's ever-evolving skyline, making it a true architectural marvel worth exploring.

People confuse this with the shopping centre. One CS is an office building with a couple of restaurants. The shopping is underneath the building. Worth nothing though, the lobby of One Canada Square frequently have art exhibitions and it's worthwhile taking 5 minutes to enjoy some of the pieces on exhibition. They are open to the public and accessible by just scaling the stairs from the shopping centre floor.

Approaching the holiday season, the Christmas tree design at One Canada Square is truly beautiful, especially with the lovely details on the trees. Every time I walk past it, it makes me smile, warms my heart, and fills me with joy. Thank you so much.🥰🎶🎄

A different London experience. Lovely, bright, lots of shops. Lots of nearby public transport from the underground to DLR & Uber boats.

One Canada Square is a skyscraper in London's Canary Wharf. It is the third tallest structure in the UK. The views of the water and scenery from office windows are breath taking. Excellent dining and shopping options are close by in this very upscale area of London.

An exciting place to explore; you could be amazed at what you can find inside. Food and shopping altogether, and a great place to commute to the other parts of the city.

One Canada Square is a must-see for visitors to London. It is one of the UK's tallest building (235m) with stunning views from its observation deck. Visitors can also take a guided tour of the building, which includes a visit to the penthouse suite. I highly recommend visiting One Canada Square, especially if you are interested in architecture or business. The building is also a great place to take photos of the city skyline.
