Wahaca is normally a five star experience, we had quite long wait and not an amazing food experience in this one! Definitely do not recommend vegan chicken tacos as they do not taste good but you can stick to classics like classic margarita, pork pibil or chicken avocado which do not disappoint! Moreover, there is 30% nhs discount and our waiter Lucy was great.

Smaller than other Wahaca's but we were still offered a choice of dining inside or out which was nice. As usual, margaritas are the bomb. Excellent food, the fresh crab tostadas special, fish tacos and quesadillas were highlights. But the sweet potato bravas stole the show - that sauce!

Visited for two around 6pm midweek. We were indecisive about what to get so we got the 'favourites' set menu for two. All the food was tasty and they managed to handle my girlfriend's nut allergy too. Would recommend booking as it can get busy due to the location!

Gave Wahaca another shot. This time in Shoreditch for lunch. Service was friendly and speedy. Quite enjoyed the Chicken salad - could of done with a touch more chicken though. Still miss the sauces they used to provide on the table - which really enhanced flavours.

Friendly welcome and attentive staff. We were served by Sadie, who was pleasant and eager to help. We shared a starter of veggie nachos between three, then had individual mains. The rainbow bowls were warm and tasty. Slight delay with a sundae for dessert, as was busier by then, but otherwise prompt food. The music provided some atmosphere—but might be a bit loud for some! Have eaten at Wahaca before and would come again.

Wahaca Shoreditch is a fantastic branch of this popular Mexican chain. As always, the Mexican food was tasty, it arrived really quickly, and the lively vibe was perfect on a Friday night. It is a tapas star restaurant, but don't worry if you're not sure how much to order because the knowledgeable staff will be happy to walk you through the menu. It's very close to old Street station and I love the decor. It housed in an old, converted fire station building and much of the features have been preserved. It's quite large to with an outdoor or dining area for the summer and a basement floor with its own bar. The star the show here is the staff. Friendly, and enthusiastic, I was well looked after from the moment I arrived until I left. Shout out to Yasmin who had great energy and made sure that I had everything I needed. It may be a chain, but every branches is different, and I can highly recommend this one.

I had an amazing time at Wahaca. I was served by Yasmin. I had the Grilled Chicken & Advocado tacos, Black bean & 3 cheeses quesadillas and Chargrilled steak and cheese tacos. All three were great. I had a long day in London and there service I received really put a smile on my face. I was given a free taster of the Wahacamole with chips. A really nice spin on a classic. I spoke with Sam who worked there and told him how much I enjoyed this. He came back with a full size bowl for me with chips for free. Not only that the staff allowed me to charge my phone which was almost out of juice from a busy day. If you are looking for great Mexican food and service with a smile in London come to Wahaca! :)

Super attentive to my allergies (almost too much but better more than less of course.) Food was good, and that’s coming from an American.

Overall a good experience and nice food. The cocktails were great, and the service was good with a few items arriving that we didn't order, but they were taken care of quickly. The music and the setting were OK but we were in the basement. I'd visit again and would recommend the burritos. Not best choice of restaurants for vegetarians

The food is good. The service is busy which is understandable. I ordered a dessert more than 15/20 mins ago and when I asked the manager about it the reply was like “yes, the guys are working”, and then left to do other things. I think this is not a reply for any customer in any situation.

Birthday dinner, very polite staff greet us, even though we're late, we did call in advance. We were given a table at the back and when I asked to be moved due to heat from the kitchen there was no hesitation. The food comes at varied times and the music started off OK and there was a track on a loop for 20 minutes. Paid by scanner and then told no cream for the Margerita Pie and given a shot and Churros as a replacement. Else is very efficient and customer focused. Thanks El

Mind blowing vegan spectacular - I'm very much not a vegan and my friend is - as a true sign of friendship, I opted for the vegan sharing platter - holly vegan-cheeses, it was absolutely incredible. Each dish danced in my mouth with flavours and there was lots of it too. My vegan friend said the food was sooooo good she dreamt about it days later. We washed this all down with sensational apple mojitos - bloody love this place!!!!

Colourful and vibrant atmosphere which is complimented by an inexhaustible cocktail menu! The slow-cooked beef burrito was delicious would definitely recommend! Service was no short of extraordinary thanks to Richard! Overall had a lovely Thursday dinner.

Wahacca is my favourite Mexican restaurant. I love the street food. I had the sweet potato feta taquitos and the crispy cauliflower. I then tried the new sundae although one ball of the salted caramel ice cream was not enough! I sat outside so can’t say much about the atmosphere. There was a queue when I arrived so the quicker option was to sit outside. Delicious food.

An absolute gem of a place. A very warm and friendly welcome on arrival, waitress explained everything about the menu very clearly and the food started to arrive very quickly. And what amazing food it was. Super tasty and brilliant presentation and absolutely delicious. Also very good value. I will definitely return when next in area and have already recommended to several people.

The restaurant has a nice vibe and the food was delicious. We had the best time ever thanks to Antonio, the sweetest waiter I have ever met. He has an amazing way of approaching customers, he made us feel very welcomed and took amazing care of us. 😊

Great service. All staff members are nice and polite. We celebrated my friend birthday and our teble was serving very friendly and professional waiter Sam. He helped me with my birthday cake surprise. Definitely will come again.

SUPER helpful with allergens. Unfortunately the only gluten free, pescatarian thing I could get that wasn’t fried in a shared fryer wasn’t my favorite so we didn’t go back. I got a mushroom enchilada dish but the sauce was more akin to a pasta sauce than an enchilada sauce in my opinion. The guacamole and horchata were great. My less gluten sensitive partner enjoyed his tacos but also noticed the pasta like sauce on his. It’s worth a shot if you’re looking for gluten free, dairy free, veg options.

The service was really good and I really like that they have a separate gluten free menu. The food was good, but I really would wish to have some more spices in it. I had three different kind. And to be honest it wasn’t that big of a taste different between them. Still tasty though.

Good food, but an English version of a real Mexican.

Recommend. Went for August 2020 'Eat Out to Help Out' scheme. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Had Cauliflower Bites with two Wahaca Mule cocktails, followed by Fish Tacos & Crab Avocado Tostadas. All delicious (esp., Fish tacos). Dessert had churros (okay) and Brownie icecream. In short: Recommend!

I thought this place was great, and that’s coming from someone who lives in Austin, TX. The service was professional and I got my meal for takeaway. Fairly priced given 2 tacos come with each order. Among the pork, buttermilk chicken, and mushroom, I enjoyed the Buttermilk Chicken the most.

The place is really focused on serving Deliveroo not so much the customers inside, really feels like as the person at the table I'm just getting served when there is no delivery order waiting. Used to be fast service and very attentive, now food just shows up randomly (which is fine) with huge gaps in between (not fine), so with multiple people you won't be able to eat at the same time as one person might be long done when the others first plate arrives. Always used to love Wahaca but with the increase in price (feels like 2 tacos for the price of 3) and the long wait that was my last time here, recommend to rather order online instead of going here.

I love Wahaca and I especially love Wahaca's Pork Pibil Tacos. Each time, each bite is just an amazing experience. Every time that I go back to London I have to go to Wahaca and let me say that the experience in Shoreditch has been up to the standards. Will always recommend.

Really nice food, and surprisingly not too busy for a Saturday afternoon. Good selection of vegan items, although I wish they had more vegan desserts to offer, that would have been great 😊
