The
only
two
things
this
university
gave
me
are
depression
and
a
huge
student
debt
that
I
will
probably
never
repay
back
in
full.
They
completely
hid
from
me
the
fact
that
you
CAN
CHANGE
your
major
if
you
are
struggling
in
Year
1
and
not
enjoying
the
course.
They
knew
I
disliked
my
course
and
yet
forced
me
to
stay.
I
graduated
three
years
ago
and
am
still
recovering
from
the
awful
experience.
If
you
decide
to
go
there,
you
will
only
be
seen
as
a
number.
Your
emotional
wellbeing
won't
matter
to
most
people.
Although
I
do
have
to
mention
that
the
Disability
team
that
assigned
me
a
mentor
pretty
much
saved
my
life,
they
were
the
only
ones
who
showed
kindness
(+Rosine
from
Extenuating
Circumstances
Team).
They
are
the
only
reason
I
somehow
managed
to
complete
the
course
that
I
had
so
despised.
Also,
Matt
Jacobsen
is
rather
procrustean
and
ruthless
man
who
has
no
empathy
and
should
not
be
teaching
vulnerable
students.
He
was
fully
aware
of
my
struggles
with
social
anxiety,
yet
he
picked
on
me
and
embarrassed
me
in
front
of
the
whole
class.
He
also
shouted
at
me
when
I
came
to
his
office
(DURING
HIS
OFFICE
HOURS)
for
not
booking
an
appointment?
He
made
me
CRY
and
yet
he
kept
on
shouting
at
me...
I
never
came
back
to
his
class
and
failed
it
as
a
result.
I
am
not
exaggerating
when
I
say
that
this
must
have
been
one
of
the
most
humiliating
moments
of
my
entire
life.
I
get
severe
anxiety
every
time
I
think
about
my
experience
with
this
university.
I
went
to
do
my
masters
elsewhere
and
am
extremely
happy
with
my
current
university
and
my
only
regret
is
all
the
£££,
tears
and
time
wasted
on
QMUL.
It
might
be
a
Russell
Group
uni,
but
I
honestly
can't
name
a
single
person
that
actually
enjoyed
studying
there.
Not
worth
it.
plus,
the
area
is
not
exactly
safe.
A
lot
of
drugs
and
gang
related
crime.
I
even
got
followed
by
some
man
once
when
walking
to
campus
from
Whitechapel
to
Mile
End.
Yuk.
So
glad
it's
over.
