Having a disabled wife she requires her teeth cleaned on every check up which is no problem. But now we are required to book with the Hygienist, this now requires two journeys, extra time waiting outside in the cold etc. This is not an improvement it’s a step backwards. Apart from this they are efficient and very kind would recommend.

I like this dentist practice but unfortunately , Covid etc has caused a few issues like having to wait in the car park to be called for an appointment so nowhere to sit or keep out of the bad weather as the waiting room is no longer in use. . If it is running late , this makes it worse. I also find that dentists do change so i have never managed to keep one regular dentist . No bad thing as the next one can be better than the last one. But it is not consistent. But I do appreciate having an NHS dentist locally

Friendliest staff ever. So caring, kind, encouraging and wonderful, and have been since I was a kid. Somehow Nunya makes a what is normally a scary filling and really calm experience. Thanks so much to the incredible team, because everyone is so friendly and welcoming😊

Called up on a Saturday morning to see if there was any way they could reattach my fixed retainer that day. Received a call back 30 mins later to be told that they could see me, despite being fully booked. Service was brilliant and managed to have the retainer fixed before going on holiday, all at a very reasonable price!

I've never had a bad experience with Sidcup Dental Surgery, and my most recent visit was no exception. My routine checkup was carried out by Tapan, and I must say this was the best dentist experience I've had to date. It seemed less rushed, more thorough and I appreciated the x-ray image discussion afterwards so I knew what state my teeth were in, without it feeling like a scripted discussion about flossing like most dentists have. 10/10

Went for my first visit last week. Really nice staff, was looked after and kept informed all the way through the visit. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Im glad to have managed to get a spot here.

Brilliant practice. All staff are always friendly, polite and prompt. I have received excellent advice from all the dentists I have seen here. Used to be frightened of dentists but not any more. They go out if their way to make the experience as stress free as possible

Lovely dentist. Super attentive to me being very anxious about going to the dentist. Calm and patient, explaining everything he is going to do ahead of time, checking in with me, asking if I am okay. Lovely receptionists. Absolutely recommend:)

The dental practice is always a professional, warm and inviting place when you enter the surgery, all the staff are welcoming and supportive the customer service is great and always friendly upbeat on the phone and at the desk. My dentist is kind and gentle and very understanding of a nervous patient all in all I feel calm and looked after with all my appointments.

My first time at this surgery today and was so pleased with the service. All staff were so friendly and my dentist Michael was very welcoming and took a great deal of care to explain my x rays and his recommendations. I'm very pleased to now be registered with this surgery.

I have been seeing Dr Murugiah since Dec 2021 after a very disappointing experience with another dentist. Dr Murugiah is pragmatic yet thorough in his assessment of the treatment options and patient and allows me to have all the info I need to make choices about the recommended course of treatment. The team at reception are responsive and polite. I would not hesitate to recommend the practice.

Michael was my dentist. He did an amazing job after my filling broke off and took some more tooth with it. Michael made me feel relaxed and was very gentle. I didnt feel anything. He Built up the broken tooth with white filling. Overall from initial contact to completed treatment everyone was kind and attentive. I have recommened Sidcup Dental Practice to my friends and family. Thank you.

Excellent dental surgery. Good options to book online and via the phone. Clean and healthy reception and surgeries as you would expect but not always see elsewhere. Quality service for both check up and hygiene appointments with good relevant advice. I particularly like their ability to show you everything on screen and the 6 monthly reminders to book again for a check up.

I telephone the surgery at 10.18am on Friday 8th September. I spoke to a male receptionist (Sam?) and explained that I had broken a large tooth that morning, and asked for an appointment. He offered me 4.10pm that same day, which I gladly accepted. He asked if I wanted an email reminder, but I said not necessary. I had trouble finding somewhere to park, but arrived on time only to be told my name was not on the screen and therefore I didn't have an appointment. Michael did come downstairs and had a quick look, but that was all. I said I wasn't happy. I had wasted an hour of my day.

No problems to report with my dentist, except I received too many reminder emails, 3 at a time to my personal and also my work email address, then they came again! It made me unsure whether I had completed the forms as repeatedly sent, I had sent them already! But overall a good service

Will never use this dental surgery again. I originally went for a tooth extraction. The problems started from there. The dentist didn’t take the whole tooth out and damaged my tooth behind. I had to go back twice as I kept on getting an infection and was charged for the medication twice. The dentist then filled the cracked tooth behind without an explanation only for me to realise later when I got home. At a later date went to another dentist for the cracked tooth that got infected and he could not believe what he saw and the root that was left in my mouth. After talking to the dental manager who was completely in denial I strongly recommend not using this surgery. Unprofessional job and really disappointed with the level of service that I received.

Tapan is a great dentist. I am a very nervous dental patients and he is always calm, kind and reassuring. Having a tooth extraction was never going to be a nice experience but he made it so much less stressful than it might have been!

Our family have been attending this dental practise for a number of years now and the care has always been fantastic (as visiting the dentist goes). We now see Michael and he is wonderful and patient with our 2 young daughters, making the whole experience calm and interesting. I would recommend this practice to anyone in the area, if they have space for new patients!

Very friendly and efficient reception and great and very professional dentist. Can't praise enough. Since my previous review I have received dental care annually and I had the same friendly, caring and very professional treatment each time. Went for annual check up recently November 2022. Still received the great treatment. Will highly recommend to any one to join this practice.

Just to say that the service I had was brilliant, and all the staff are so kind. Of course things are not quite what it used to be because of the Covid outbreak, but we all managed fine. I hope that all remains finest the surgery one week on. Dean Flanders.

Extremely satisfied with the treatment I had at Sidcup Dental Surgery and the dentist was excellent, very reassuring and was very good at explaining my treatment.

Highly recommended as a dentist (in my case as a private patient). Efficient online booking. The dentist took the time to explain carefully to me with detailed photos on a screen, what he found during the examination - and there was no pressure to rush into any treatment.

Had quality care by Michael, was without a dentist for sometime and teeth really suffered as a result. Pleased to be in good hands now!

Took me over 2 months to get an “emergency” appointment. The pain of my tooth had declined recently as it took so long for an appointment. I traveled home from university to make this appointment and cancelled work. On arrival, I waited 15 minutes past my time. However, the dentist looked in my mouth for a minute and said : “it doesn’t hurt, book another non emergency appointment” Next appointment date was in 3 months I was charged full price for a 5 minute appointment!!!!! It would take 5-6 months just to get a tooth looked at I felt like they don’t care and they are rushing there visits Very dangerous situation as something serious could be missed and that someone could be injured. If it takes 2 months for an emergency ? How long would a non emergency take ?

It was my first time at Sidcup Dental Surgery and I was very pleased. The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. I saw dentist Michael who was very professional and took time to speak with me about the future for my teeth. I look forward to becoming a patient with them.

I found this dental surgery via a Google search for my mum who was not registered with a dentist but in terrible pain with an abscess - the reception staff were fabulous and managed to fit her in within an hour even though she was not an existing patient! Mum is really nervous of the dentist, so hadn’t been for years - she felt totally at ease here and once her initial infection was sorted, the dentist (Ashee) worked up a plan for work needed to take place over a few months. Mum said during the treatment she felt totally reassured and looked after, experienced no pain and was the best experience she’d had at a dentist by far - her treatment finished and her new bridge is fantastic - such a good job you cannot even tell which teeth have been replaced! Would highly recommend, especially for those who are nervous of the dentist. Costs for treatment were also very competitive.
