been going to this gym for about a year and a bit now, at first it wasn't busy after school times at all, but in the past month or two, for some reason they are letting literal 12 year old's enter the gym and get a membership, and all they do is sit around a bench together, about 6 of them at a time and just go on their phones. there is also signs around the gym which clearly state no under 16s allowed.

Great Gym in terms of facilities but do not join this gym without reading the terms of your contract. Despite signing up in the gym with gym staff, membership is all dealt with externally by the Debit Finance Service upon trying to cancel my membership I was told by the gym staff I would have to contact the DFC who are impossible to get hold of by phone or email. Instead I cancelled my direct debit directly with the bank and as a result was contacted by the DPS i have incurred up to a £45 fine as a result of missing my scheduled payment and been instructed that I cannot cancel my membership until i pay the fine as well as two months membership fees. In short it is near impossible to cancel your membership.

Equipment is plentiful and of good quality being Hammer Strength. However there’s work to do on the up keep side. The cleaner is either on a very long vacation or needs some training. Floors are dirty, equipment dusty and mirrors dirty with streak marks on most mirrors. Equipment is not especially well maintained with clips regularly going missing resulting in a hunt to find where it might be laying. It could be an amazing gym but small details let it down.

I enjoyed my time at this gym, but had to leave mid contract due to moving to London which the contract allows. The finance company used, Debit Finance Collections have failed to acknowledge my multiple requests to stop taking payments from me, they now owe me 4 - soon to be 5, payments in total, I can't get them on the phone, they won't respond to email & now Oakley aren't responding either. I have had to inform the Financial Ombudsman of this issue who will start formal proceedings against the finance company. I am now out of pocket £128 and counting. So in short only join this gym if you plan on never leaving!

This gym has more equipment than any other three or four gyms that I know, put together. It is well run with all new kit. The showers are great and they are proper showers, not these push button or water stops every few minutes type. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It is easy to find quiet periods here and your left to do your own thing in peace. It is open literally 24/7 as you gain entry via your thumb print you can come at 2am if you so wish. The doors, lights, heating etc are all automated and there's security in the CCTV coverage. This is without a doubt the best gym I've ever used.

Great value. Can get busy with kids after school but weekends and mornings are great.

I have been training here for over a year now. Great range of weights and machines. Staff are really friendly and happy to help. Can usually park out front if it isn't peak time which is handy.

Not got much beyond screenshots of other gyms and the knowledge of the metric system to go by, but seems to have all the things you might want, typically at least 2 (so 2 benches etc). Has a climbing wall. Unique architecture. Cleanliness is sometimes lacking - more 'spit and sawdust' than sheeny sleek, however is reasonably priced and exceptionally convenient as next to the office. I'm very satisfied with it overall. Also very quiet when I have attended with barely any queuing for kit. Typically visit 7-8am or 5-7pm.

Best gym I’ve been to. Loads of quality equipment, never too busy, super helpful and friendly staff and all for a great price, no complaints.

Well impressed. Hidden gem. Better than pure gym when it comes to weights. More equipment. Free parking if you get the space. Open 24/7.

Best gym in Tunbridge Wells. Spacious, 24-hour opening and very reasonably priced. The gym itself has three main floors as well as a studio at the top. One floor features a more calsitethics-type vibe being a functional training floor. Another features lots of good pin-loaded machines as well as a lot of cardio machines. The bottom floor features some very good Hammer Strength plate-loaded machines inc. some unique leg machines. The Iso lateral row and Iso lateral incline chest press are two great machines. There are multiple machines of the same one for example the cable row and a lot of pulley/pulldown machines which is good.

Really bad customer service as they make it nearly impossible to cancel your gym membership. Worth considering this before joining this gym!

When signing up to this gym, make sure they have your bank details correct as the company they use to collect the direct debit, Debit Finance, will charge you £30 per late payment.

Well priced for a reason. The place is poorly maintained and has possibly never been cleaned. Would be less of a problem if there were cleaning stations but they are all broken as well. Better to pay a little more and not get sick from your workout.

I hire the studio at Oakley fitness for my boxercise classes and my clients love it there. As its up three flights of stairs it warms my clients up which is a win win.

Superb gym … great ambiance helped by the building it’s in, all age groups there, not intimidating, great value, huge array of equipment. It’s not swanky, but I’d choose this place every time …
