Can't fault the service at all. Booked the day before for a chest X-ray in Wimpole street. Despite the short notice, they were expecting me and I was in an out with a CD copy for my Doctor in 20 minutes. The entire experience was only Β£50! I hope that I never need the service again - but if I do. I won't hesitate to use Oryon again.

I had given Oryon Imaging a 5 * review a few weeks back, and that is still accurate as far as the appointment was concerned. However, a week later I learnt that my consultant had not received the report or images. They had been sent to a secretary who had retired many years ago although his current contact details were on the referral form. When the report did arrive my consultant discharged me. I later obtained a copy of the report, more that 2 weeks after it had been prepared. It stated that Oryon intended to contact me to advise another MRI. I hadn't heard from them and an email I sent when I learnt of this was not responded to. It was only after a second email that I was contacted. I was advised that a further scan would cost more than Β£500 and that was with a Β£250 reduction! My consultant did not consider this necessary. I have lost all confidence in Oryon now.

The staff behind reception were really poor, communicated terribly. Chatting amongst themselves about delays without talking to any of the clients. My appt was delayed by 45 mins, no apology, I don’t think they have any awareness the people in there are likely in pain. Terrible service for something so expensive.

I don't know why anyone needing an MRI scan in London would go anywhere else but here. As a self-pay client from Africa, I appreciated the price of the scan - a fraction of what other providers charge. I also appreciated that I got an appointment within 2 days, and that my scans were handed to me on a CD before I left the building, and made available on their secure online portal the same day. The reception was friendly and efficient, and the radiologist in charge of my scans was considerate, sympathetic, took the time to explain everything and was obviously very competent. I didn't get her name, but she is from Southern Africa. I had gone in for a scan of my middle ears, but on the written report, additional details about the structure of my brain (that I new about from previous CT scans in Africa) were included, which provided me additional peace of mind. Simply outstanding service at an affordable price.

Even though Oryon knew they are running late with their appointments, it didn't occurs to them to phone me up and at least inform me that there will an at least 45 minute delay for my scan. As for their MRI scan quality, no wonder they are cheap. I guess you get what you pays for!

In a few cases and exchange of care for care, it was not necessary to clarify the documents of the documents that will take the relationship to the consultation. it almost made me miss the appointment. I found it very available to find available data, perhaps because I was assisted by Allianz Seguro Saude). I was treated very well by the doctor who treated me. However, to this day the clinic owes me a medical report.

The staff were perfectly polite, but take a book. I wasn't impressed with the length of the wait before I was scanned, and my impression is that it's deliberately organised that way, rather than being an exceptional occurrence. Will add, though, that the clinician was clear in his instructions (keep still, it will be noisy etc) and gave me a couple of prompts as we went along so I knew where we were, which was both thoughtful and helpful.

Terrible service after doing the MRI, after paying to get the MRI results as soon as possible, the only thing I have gotten after a month of waiting is not having the results, my doctor is still waiting. Anyone looking to get a diagnostic test as soon as possible please don't use this clinic, it's going to take longer than the NHS, you're going to pay to not know the results for a month or more. good luck with this clinic you will need it. they don't know how to send a simple email with the results

Oryon were very helpful in helping me select a price conscious appointment as i am paying for this myself not through a fund. my appointment was efficient and the location in central london was helpful for me. The centre was modern with stair and lift access and my cd was available to take away whist i waited. Very professional and efficient

Reception staff were nice and friendly. Overal customer service, leadership presence and timeliness was extremely poor. My wife and I were kept waiting for over 1hr past our appointments only to be told we will wait for 30mins more. I had booked and paid for a 6.40pm slot which was more expensive than 8pm slot. After keeping us waiting for so long, they gave us a new appointment on a supposed cheaper slot past 8pm, but they were unwilling to refund the difference. In all these conversations, it was only the front desk staff that spoke to us. I took my money and left. I will rather pay more somewhere else for more professional service.

My physio recommended an MRI scan of my right calf and recommended me to Oryon in Wimpole Street. I made an appointment online and had the MRI scan 3 days later and the physio received the scan with a report one day after it was done. The staff were efficient, professional and pleasant at Oryon. The total cost of the scan is shown when you make the booking so you know exactly how much you have to pay. There are long delays for MRI scans by the NHS in my area and I thought that it was worthwhile to go privately and get a quick result. I am glad that I did.

I have been very impressed with Oryon. I got an appointment the same day and my results were given to me straight away before I left the place. The whole experience took 10 minutes. I was seen on time, both reception and the radiologist were very helpful and considerate. The pricing was surprisingly reasonable. All in all great, very efficient and helpful service.

Not a good experience from the very beginning, terrible client relationship skills across the company, seems to be more about money than anything else, plus they are pricey. - they first cancelled my appointment at Wimpole street and sent me to their Dover st practice, another half work day to waste and rearrange. - once I got there, the place was very hard to find (10min not kidding going the street up and down twice) as it is just a simple wooden door with no street numbers around, door just is leading to the downstairs practice. There was only a small A4 paper taped to the door with the Oryon logo, luckily I saw it as I was about to give up as when I finally got someone on the phone who hanged up on me. - Did registration and mri pretty stressed due to the above. - Once done, I needed a receipt for my international insurance, they could not print it and said will arrive by email within five days, 10 days later I am still chasing them to get a receipt but they keep sending an invoice with balance not a zero and they cannot do anything to help. After 20min on phone insisting, I am now asked to send an email requesting an invoice showing zero balance and paid as if the manager approached could not write down the info needed and proceed, just wasting more of my time. I would not recommend this practice to anyone, booking issues, not making anything easy, actually the all process is complicated, and to finish chasing the receipt to get refunded my 699Β£ mri. There are many imaging practices in London offering a much better customer overall experience. I will also share these comments with the Dr who referred me there.

Had 2 MRI here and 1 X Ray Staff are amazing, service is great. Shame about some of their customers they have to put up with, today a young girl had freak out which delayed things, but another woman complained about being a bit late. Staff handled her well, but I really felt the woman needed to take perspective of her life. Also, if she was worried about it being late, she should have picked an earlier time slot. Sorry, she really annoyed me, but the staff handled her amazingly, and she clearly was complaining without reading their terms despite marking, she did πŸ˜‰

I'm very happy with the service and efficiency. I went for a brain MRI and I could book an appointment for the same day if I wanted. The receptionists were friendly and so were the operators. You put all your valuables in a changing room and lock the door and keep the key. The actual tube is very small so if you don't have claustrophobia, after 10 mins inside, you will. However, for what you get it is the cheapest I could find. After it is done you immediately receive a CD copy of your images that run on a complicated program but if you take some time you will understand eventually. Highly recommended!

Went in for an MRI scan on my jaw, after several phone calls to book and then rearrange the appointment ( at their behest not mine). They emailed me appointment details and an extensive questionnaire. At no point did anyone ask me either on the phone or via the questionnaire if I was claustrophobic!! The MRI scanner they have at their Wimpole Street clinic is the old fashion type very narrow long tube. I tried a couple of times but no way could I tolerate being crammed in there. It is nothing like the modern wide bore short scanners the NHS use (I googled it !). So much for private health care. When I challenged the staff about why there was no information about the type of MRI scanner they use or that this can be an issue for anyone claustrophobic they were very sheepish. My conclusion is they are just trying to make money from out of date technology, perhaps they're cheap. I never say the cost as it was booked through my private health care insurance. Not recommended.

Required a simple X-Ray of my sons hand to determine whether his growth plates had closed or not. We would have had them done on the NHS but wished to avoid the inevitable delay and subsequent follow up appointment lag. What should have been a straightforward and simple request turned into a ludicrous fiasco. We needed the report within 5 days, and paid for their own Doctors referral service to ensure we had it in time, but instead the consultant radiologist didn't even bother to answer our question, simply responding with a bog standard template - defeating the whole point of the process. Their own referring doctor then re-contacted the consultant to remind him of the content of her notes and purpose of the referral, but they couldn't even be bothered replying. Seems that they all work in their own silos with no mutual co-operation or professional respect. We appear to have just wasted our money and it just proves that review scores mean nothing.

The booking in and the scan and the payment process are fine. But getting my images was not next day as I was led to believe and I therefore had to postpone my consultation with my specialist. They say one working day from your scan - even if the scan is 8.00am in the morning it takes 48 hours. The radiologists report I still haven't seen a week later, Oryon refuse to let me see it even though its my knee, my report and I have paid for it. Only your referer can see it. Very poor . wont be returning

I have attended ORYON before - for DEXA and MRI scans. They always provide a first class, prompt, very professional and friendly service. Lovely staff. And good value for money. And when I went on 3rd August they had a fire drill which was very professionally conducted! They certainly are all very well trained. Bill Pomeroy

My train was delayed so I contacted the reception who was very helpful and accommodating to my lateness. Was very clean and tidy upon arrival and was seen to straight away. In and out in 20 mins. Great private service for x-ray!

Excellent service from start to finish. Facilities clean and easy to find. Clinician was patient and very helpful, explaining everything she was doing as she was doing the scan, and also explaining what she could see. I would highly recommend.

I was very surprised and impressed that the clinic was open on Christmas Eve! despite it being the Saturday before Christmas, the staff were extremely polite and helpful, though they must have wanted to be elsewhere by then! the Receptionist was charming and helpful, and the radiographer set me at ease and was helpful with my mobility issues. Oryon is a very professional, smart outfit, and provides a quick and friendly service. Thank you.

I arrived 20 minutes earlier to do the check in,even though I have done it online days before as instructed. After I have been sent away that I am too early, came back and waited 25 minutes then they took me to an waiting room to dress in their special clothes for the MRI.I have been waited there another 20 minutes then I left,I couldn’t have it no more-while this time they did not offer a single drink or something, also keep telling me 2 minutes!2 minutes, some other lady come out and said 20 seconds you are in-7 minutes later after this 20 seconds I left.no care for patients-and I was a private patient, paying Β£640

I would never pay money to get scans done here again after the service provided turned out to be more time consuming and infinitely more frustrating than if I'd just waited a few weeks for NHS scans. Firstly the MRI machine broke down half way through my scan because "it's old" and I had to wait for them to fix it. Frustrating they don't have newer / better maintained machines since they are charging so much for scans. The real issues started from here. The written report from the radiologist didn't get forwarded to my consultant until I called up to remind them after a few days, and I assume at this point it was written up in a rush since whoever wrote it missed many obvious aspects of my injuries - such as broken bones which are even visible on x-rays let alone MRI scans. The report was so bad my consultant recommended I get my images re-checked by the radiologists at The Royal Free Hospital. It has now been several weeks and somehow my scans still haven't been successfully reviewed by the staff at The Royal Free due to various delays and administrative blunders by Oryon. It's baffling to me that spending Β£700 on private scans could turn into such a complete mess and that paying for private treatment resulted in sub-par analysis of my injuries and longer delays than NHS treatment. Truly a failure in every regard. To anyone considering getting scans here, save your money and your time and go elsewhere.

Oryon Imaging is a very fast and efficient service with a range of normal office hours or "out of hours" time slots which you, the patient get to choose. The pricing is structured according to demand so it makes it more affordable if self funding. Staff are very friendly and results are delivered very quickly. I highly recommend.

Great experience all around for my DEXA. The booking was easy and smooth: I had lots of options to pick from. The reception team in the clinic was efficient: everything was done quickly and I did not waste any time. I got my results immediately.

Good and quick service, the way we need. Staff was very good and helpful. I would give 5 stars but the company still ask staff and customers to wear face masks. Time to end up this madness

Very happy with the whole service. Welcoming staff, very clean place and perfectly time managed. Probably the cheapest in Central London, highly recommended. Given a cd with results after less than 5 minutes after leaving the MRI room. Well done.

I had an MRI scan here and it was really easy to book, the staff were really helpful and friendly and having access to the images straight away is brilliant! Highly recommend.

The cost was much lower than I could obtain from my local private hospitals, which did make me wonder about whether the 'output' reflects the price. However, my consultant has told me that the images and the viewer through which he was provided access were really very good indeed. And availability and service were really top drawer. Thank you

DXA scan service was good in all respects. From initial submission of form to receipt of results. All staff polite and efficient. Reception was a bit crowded when I arrived, but not sure there's much that can be done about that.

I needed to have a Dexa scan. From booking to check-in, to the scan and receiving my results, it was a seamless, efficient and easy process. All the staff were so lovely, friendly and extremely helpful. Oryon Imaging should be the first place people go when they need any type of imaging done. Can't recommend enough!

I recently had a series of MRI scans done at Oryon. Oryon was recommended to me by both my Physio and other medical practitioners. Oryon has excellent staff, good facilities and pricing to accommodate different budgets. I was happy with how my appointment went! Communication with the team and my overall experience was positive. Thanks to the team for your kindness and service.
