Months ago I told Dr. Bala Baskaran, I had a sleep problem snoring. He referred me to the chest department at the hospital. The hospital sent the result of the test to my gp doctor, but the doctor did not note it in the system. I realized this mistake and went to the hospital again. I asked for results again. Immediately afterwards, I went to the gp and asked them to put the results in the system. Then I made an appointment with the doctor and explained that these results were important to me. In other words, if the results are good, he should say that he does not need treatment, if the results are bad, he should say that he needs oxygen therapy and he should put it in the system about me. I told the doctor how important this is because this uncertainty will negatively affect my registration and job application with TFL. If the results require treatment, even the dvla should be informed about this issue. The answer the doctor gave me, I did my job and uploaded the results to the system. He said no one can make me do more. I want you to know that I'm going to report this issue.

The worst customer service with huge attitude I have received from Nicola(calling herself Niki) rude receptionists!!!! Her behaviour is absolutely poor!! No manners,no respect and definitely no understanding!!! She should not be dealing with sick patients!!!! Absolutely disgusting behaviour!!! Happend recently on numerous occasions!!! Parkway should learn from Hadley drive medical center

Very disappointed service. I came here for a GP hub appointment at 12.00 yesterday. I waited for 40 mins for someone to see me and when I enquired from the receptionists what was happening I was told 'doctor busy and backklog' in a very cold way. Doctor then saw me and said there was a technical error and apologised for wait and whether the receptionists approached me to consider why I have waited so long (as they had the ability to message him and i would have been seen earlier). The answer was clearly not and i told him what they told me and he shook his head (he was not dealing with a backlog), they were too busy yapping about their weekend when they should be really focusing on what is going on in the workplace. They were friendly to other patients only by virtue if they knew them. Doctor however was great but the experience with the receptionists was terrible. Lack of awareness to what is going on is not acceptable, especially when that is your job and awaiting 40 mins to be seen to with no valid reason is wrong.

Useless GP administration staff. I requested for vaccination and I turn up only to realise I have been booked for something to the contrary and to worsen the situation I have to wait for another two weeks to be seen by the nurse again. No effort to correct their own mess ASAP.How inconsiderate and callous. Totally disappointed...

The receptionist team always go above and beyond their job role to ensure they answer any queries or concerns I may have. They understand my mental health difficulties and always make sure that they have answered my questions fully. Kelly also reassured me that there will always be a chaperone present to accompany me in appointments as I often suffer from panic attacks

I can only give 5 stars but would give 6 or even 7 if it were possible. All the staff are friendly and helpful but I wanted to say that Laura who is a nurse is one of the nicest health care professionals I have ever had to pleasure in meeting. She is ever so caring, friendly, thorough and attentive and nothing is too much trouble for her. It really is a pleasure to be treated by this lovely lady. Jerome.

I'm doing my studies in mental health nursing and as part of the screening I needed a history of my medical notes. Found out that they do not have my whole medical notes and I've been trying to chase this for over 2 months. Spoke to various receptionists and nothing. Its concerning that if anything was to happen to me they would not have access to my whole medical history. Spoke to a gentleman called Mohamed who said they didn't have it full stop and wasn't prepared to help me. Tried to speak to the manager but nothing. I was told Nikki would call me back and it's been 3 weeks now. Again, I've been chasing this up and nothing. Spoke to another receptionist and hoping this gets sorted out.

I have awarded 5 stars because and only because 2 wonderful & efficient receptionists, Jane & Carolann, cared enough to listen to my dilema and find a practical solution. But for these lovely ladies I would have lodged a formal complaint. The Practice Manager from whom I had requested an urgent call back, only deigned to oblige 2 days later, on Friday afternoon after the matter had been resolved. Thank you Jane, thank you Carolann. Bless you both.

Today Tia went over and above to look after myself and my mother who I care for. The admin team and Doctors at this surgery always give my little family amazing service. Special thanks to Tia today though, you are a star!

Poor communication within the service and unhelpful/rude staff. I have been on a wild goose chase just to get my repeat prescription put on the nhs app to order. I received a evidence letter from the hospital with all the medicines listed. I sent the letter to the gp and called only to be told it would be done the following monday. I call back on Tuesday to be told I need to book an appointment for the following week with the pharmacist. I have my appointment with the pharmacist and we went through all the medicines, 48 hours later, half of the medicine is not in the app as a repeat prescription. I call back and only some get put as a repeat, then I called back today only to be met with a rude staff member who told me she could not do anything to help and I have to go through the pharmacy for medicine I have already discussed, however the pharmacy needs approval FROM THE GP!!! It is incredibly frustrating and irresponsible to not provide medicines efficiently as I always have to go through 111 to get my medicine every time I have an episode for medicine that has been approved by the hospital doctor.

Excellent service , but especially the receptionist lady who is pregnant( unfortunately I don’t know her name ) she is kind, considerate and most importantly really cares about the patients. Update on the 21/12/22 Today I visited the practice and I get like I wanted to give a comment on my experience: Dr Lavan Baskaran! Is the best doctor I have ever seen in the United Kingdom! He is very professional and very very knowledgeable! He encouraged me to ask questions and he really wanted to know more about my medical condition. He is extremely helpful and a good listener. I felt really at ease and was treated with dignity and respect

I care for the people who cares for the people. I understand every single Google 's star and add 5 more from me. Special thanks for Charlotte. You are an angel. Thank you professional work, being told I shoud care for myself too. I know, this is not what every GP receptionist or even GP does. We all know it very well. I respect your hard work and I know you respect me and my health. I know that me and my familly will be safe if we will need help. It was difficult for me to do my registration and Charlotte helped me with it step by step.

The female receptionists at fieldway window was very unprofessional, unhelpful, rude and made me feel really uncomfortable. In general the workers here seem very incompetent. I personally believe they need more training or they are just in the wrong job.

I'm patient at MT Medics. I gave a birth to my son a few weeks ago. I went to the GP to register my son as he was 7 weeks old already and we both needed appointments. My son was due to have vacation between 6 and 8 weeks. It was Friday evening so I've been told that the lady from reception will definitely call me back on Monday as it's very important appointments and she will do it as a first thing on Monday morning. I've been waiting all week and no one bothered to contact me. Very disappointed. Also Midwife practice is very poor. I had a phone call when I came back with the baby from the hospital as they don't do home visits because of covid and they asked me to came with a newborn baby to the GP. There's covid in my home so they can't come in but it's safe to go with newborn baby to the building where lots of sick and ill people are sitting and waiting to see their doctor! Bromley, Fulham, Wandsworth Midwife practice do home visit as there's no covid. Covid is only in Croydon! That's nonsense and very good excuse to stay in warm and nice room instead of travelling to someone's house in rainy cold days. Ridiculous...

Became ill and 111 referred me to be seen at Parkway hub in New Addington within an hour. Never been here before but My GP were closed. There was immediate free parking. Waiting was minimal. Seen by Dr Ari i think the name is (apologies for misspelling) . Assessed and professionally Respectful. Required Medication sent electronically to closest pharmacy. Went to pick it up. No parking probs there either. V smooth experience which was much needed. Well done.

Receptionist was absolutely rude, incoherent and abrupt. Cut me short, shouted “E Don Maaaha” and when I challenged her about how she was speaking to me/ SHOUTING, she slammed the phone down. I think I’m now deaf in one ear - which is typical of this service - called for help and ended up in a worsened condition. Please revisit your recruitment processes and staff training. The call handler today needs a lot of work but let’s start with customer service training.

Staff always so helpful, and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. This is my elderly Father's practice, and whenever I call on his behalf with any sort of problem, the staff find a solution.

Had my first midwife appointment on june 10 2022 at parkway health centre Midwife took my bloods and my heamaglobin levels were dangerously low and she never informed me . Few months later I went to A&E where my blood results were chased up they said I need iron / heamaglobin transfusions This all was during my first 3 months of my pregnancy this is my first child and I want to raise a complaint about this. Why was I never informed if my blood results revealed such a low reading to the point I needed transfusions. I was so exhausted during those weeks and due to the deficiency that I fell ill at work and had to be taken to A&E

Since the opening of the New Addington hub, myself, my family and my close friends have noted that "Receptionists at doctors surgeries and at the hub give a quicker diagnosis or our ailments and illness's than doctors (if you are lucky enough to see a doctor!). Can someone please explain: since when can surgery receptions diagnose and recommend you next actions? Can any of the local doctors surgeries please explain their use as I have "personally" phoned my doctors several times in past few months and have been passed onto the hub then, by the receptionist, given a long range appointment or a call back at anytime within 8 hours or recommended to call 111 or even visit hospital. All this after them asking me what is wrong.... these people should diagnose sick people or have it put on them to "assume" who should or should not speak to a doctor until they have been through some kind of medical school that certifies them fit to make diagnose of illnesses (listening to a sick person and telling them they do or do not need to visit a doctor is a form of diagnosis). Bring back "sit and wait" surgeries, people who are sick will be more than happy to know they are going to see a doctor within a couple of hours rather than wait or be diagnosed by an unqualified receptionist over a possible two week appointment system. People who are not so ill i.e., cold and flu will most likely use over the counter products instead of filling up waiting rooms, phone lines or A&E!

Jane was absolutely brilliant. Finally got what I needed after speaking to several different secretaries. Jane helped me get my referral letter during a pressing time with an appointment. I can’t thank you enough.

I have been with this surgery for almost ten years now and I feel pretty lucky I have never had to wait inordinate periods for appointments etc and although there are problems in my care (I have significant medical issues and they are just like that... unpredictable) they are usually addressed efficiently and in a very timely manner. I called for an appointment today and was offered one this afternoon by return phone call within ten minutes.... How do you like them apples?

I requested a letter via IQ app for my manager to confirm I have conditions that can effect the amount of work I do, and as I have osteopenia I tend to break bones easily, I have had warnings for being off sick with broken bones so need to confirm I am not taking the mick, requested a letter, and was informed via IQ app that was 30 quid but could get printouts from my records, the receptionist took her time to print out what was relevant and even found a few letters she thought would be useful , she was very professional and made my request easy , I do get anxious in situations when I have to ask for things, but the young lady was so nice I was completely at ease and very grateful for the help she gave me, thank you Parkway .

🫤 Don't even like to complain. The Dr will help me out but he makes me feel like I'm wasting his time. I feel like his talking down to me and makes me feel like ceap. 🤨😒 I do try to sympathise with him and think maybe his having a bad day. But after a while there's no excuse I'm always polite to hi...
