It was a warmest day of summer in UK and pavillion was the right venue for the day. My parents and family had a pleasant day out swimming in the group leisure pool. The rates are expensive but for once in a while visit they work. Only downside is not having any covers for showers

Not the best experience. Customer service very unpleasant and only because I have asked to clean a table where a woman left her child's dirty nappy.... upon registration (because ticket was purchased only) they treated me like a sh...t giving me faces etc. Nevertheless just to help them to find my registration I showed it on my phone and a women just told me " I don't need your phone, I need your surname"... the whole process was horrible. I gave 2 stars only because my son loved it and the place itself is nice, staff needs to have a good training for customer service .. People don't spend money to be treated like a rubbish...

I would say that the swimming pool is one the better in the area ; my 4 year old enjoyed the wave machine and would have loved the flume had it been open. £14 for me to take 1 child for an hr is extremely expensive, especially when added to parking or transport costs. Why don't they get an agreement with the car park provider and knock off your parking cost or £3 off of you swim or something. Would make it a bit more manageable to go regularly.

This place is very poorly managed with terrible customer service. You book through the app for family splash swimming, take your child and check in at the reception without any issues. You are advised to join the queue and suddenly a weird lady staff member creeps up and asks for your name to revalidate the booking. Then she starts spoiling your day by telling you that you should have booked by adding child in a different section and adults in a different one so their numbers tally up correctly. When you try and find out if tallying up works differently for children and adults then the answer is no. So what exactly is the issue? I can see there is none!! When you are finally allowed to go inside, you have lost 5-10 minutes of the session that you have paid for. Once inside, you find dirty changing rooms. When you brave it all through, you are in an overcrowded pool. They have divided the pool with a red rope for swimmers / non swimmers which makes sense but how do you teach a child to not go near the rope? As soon as your child gets closer to that, you are being whistled at non-stop. Come on guys, you are not in some kind of a war zone as this is supposed to be fun time. Allow people to enjoy themselves. We complained to the manager and we were told that we were free to cancel membership so we did. Had no intention to pay for a service and get disrespected by their rude and incompetent staff. They need to learn how to manage and run leisure centres.

Not happy. Last day of sun for the long weekend. Had my daughter for the weekend and with no warning you now have to book to swim. Now I had to book it on a cold rainy day. Because they can't think to put a warning on their website! I checked the website to see if they'll be open. Last year summer I did not need to book. Very poorly managed.

Visited for the first time. Our swim session was booked for 5.15pm. Cannot fault the changing rooms. They were immaculate and the floor was dry (heaven), even though they'd been open all day. The flumes weren't on for our session but the waves were. If you check their website or app they update the night before to show what's on and what isn't re the flumes. The water was a lovely temperature too. The staff were really friendly and, on the whole, the experience was great. If I had to moan about anything it's that the chlorine was slightly too strong but I spoke with the duty manager and he promised to get it checked. Will definitely be returning!

Save your money and do not bother with the swimming sessions until the pointless Covid restrictions are lifted. Every swim is crammed into timeslots, which are shorter than you think, forcing everyone, children, families and all, to leave the pool and use the changing rooms at the same time. Pandemonium. Huge queues for the showers, impossible to get a cubicle. People everywhere, bumping into each other. Ice cold gusts of wind blow through the changing room. So your fun is over, but you're cold and wet, surrounded by a load of other cold and wet people. With a small child it's truly diabolical. Apparently, these swim slots were brought in post Covid. Quite how forcing everyone to cram into the changing rooms at the same time stops the spread of Covid is beyond me. Don't even think about just rocking up for a swim (how I did at every swimming pool for the first 34 years of my life until 2020 with no issues), you should book at least a couple days in advance. On a quiet school day its bearable, but on the weekend, it just not. The pool itself is actually alright - these plenty of floats for all the kids to play with, a smaller toddler pool, slides and a wave machine. Admittedly a bit dingy, but that's most British swimming pools for you. The soft play area is fine too but doesn't make up for the fact that this is just another institution inflicting pointless booking and queuing procedures on its customers. Whilst the facilities themselves are fine, they only get a 1 star review from me. Their strict adherence to timeslots - 30 mins only for the waterslides etc - ruins everything. The staff are perfectly polite too. It's not their fault, someone above them is trying to turn their leisure centre in Stalug Luft 23. Management: Grow up and run your pool normally please. Once you do so I will happily remove this review.

Went to the soft play area. Our experience was good. I went with my 9 month old during school time (free under 1s) . It was nice and quiet. Relatively clean. I would avoid during weekends or school holidays. It was pleasant. 😊

There is two slides here which are good but the whole place is slightly dated. They could do with some more changing rooms and the sessions are quite expensive for one hour a go

Great place for soft play but make sure you book in advance as places fill up. They also have a food and drinks area which serves sub-like food so if you forget snacks you'll be okay. Its about £16 for two kids under 5 for 90 minutes - pretty decent prices. There are also tables to sit at while the kids play

The gym air con is never working and there’s no windows to open! I think that the number of people going to the gym in the evening is starting to outgrow the size of the space and number of machines. Plus the changing rooms could do with a modern revamp. If it wasn’t for the staff I would’ve moved to a cheaper and more modern local gym that I could use all year round. I’d love to see the entire space (swimming pool included) be upgraded. It’s not up to the same standards as other leisure centres.

The toddler area is open to everyone and so many older kids were going in the and getting in the way, pushing and jumping on the little kids in the ball pit. Two many kids allowed in at once especially when most parents sit there and don’t watch their kids! Won’t be coming back here

Good to have a swimming pool in the area, has a wave event and water slides in service too. Fairly small but they do manage timeslots and bookings to avoid overcrowding. Main concern from myself is the pool area is in great need of a deep clean/ refurbishment, lot of stuff is dirty, rusted, or broken. from most locker keys having their safety straps broken, to handrails by the pool having rusted and no are no longer actually attached properly and moving when handled. Give the place some love, seems popular enough to have earnt it.

I had a birthday party there (bowling). I liked it a lot and the arcade is wonderful. I recommend this place for under 6s for the soft play (loved it wjen i was a kid) and under 16 for bowling but of course any age can bowl.

Clean areas ... good mixture of ages... play area climbing frames and soft balls area but I think cost too high for a child £10 plus I asked reception what does this include replied playing time I was shocked not even a drink very pricey

How can they justify having swimming sessions for just 45 mins only. By the time you get changed after trying to find a family changing room then looking for a usable locker you will be lucky to spend 30 mins in the pool. Mytime has absolutely slaughtered family fun time when it comes to swimming, open the pool and just allow people to have fun how it always used to be.

  • 2/5 Thomas H. 10 months ago on Google
The soft play area is okay, but seating area can be a bit crowded. The pool is disappointing and in need of decoration. It was closed for decoration in winter for several weeks, but I can’t see any improvements. It just looks a bit run down. Unfortunately, you have to book certain time slots for family swims which means all families enter and leave at the same time and there aren’t enough changing rooms. The changing area also looks a bit dirty.

I rate the gym 4*, as it has a good range of equipment ,is clean, the staff are helpful, and the men's changing room and showers are fine. But the pool is no more than 2*. The area around the pool is dirty, and the showers, changing rooms and lockers need a complete overhaul. I only use it because it's the closest pool to home.

Reception was good but one of the lifts still broken. Some of the spectator seats by the pool are very dangerous but had not been removed. It was Sunday and we had all come out of swimming at about 10.45 to be told no food could be available until 11.30 as there were 2 partys being cooked for, so we waited. By 11.45 we were then informed by the cafe staff that the chef was very stressed and they would not be serving any food. If we had been told this in the first place we would not have hung around there for over an hour with our children. Staff were pleasant enough, changing rooms a bit gungy but the children had enjoyed their swim thus the 2 stars.

Nice facility. Kids had a blast . The slides and the wave pool are really good , staff are also good and overall a good experience . The only reason I have 4 stars is due to the timing. When we pay for a 60 minute session , there is no reason to close the slides after 45 minutes . Also the pool gets closed after 50 off minutes and not 60 minutes . I understand you want to get the current batch out and get the new batch in, but maybe add more showers so that the turn I’ve can happen faster , rather than taking away time from the session.

The bowling alley and soft play are really nice to visit for 90 minute session, I’m giving it 2 stars as the pool is absolutely disgusting! Dirty, outdated and rusting to bits! It needs a serious overhaul.

We went to soft play which my granddaughter which she enjoyed. The loos are terrible tho`. One of the cubicles has a broken door and the other toilet has a faulty chain. This has existed for a while so should have been resolved by now especially with the volume of children in the building. Please review urgently and get the repairs done.

Booked lane 1 for families' New Year bowling . Arrived on time but was told to use lane 2. Went to lane 2 but someone had started using our game.Staff shut their game down but they went to desk and paid for another game on that lane and staff accepted their money despite stutting down their game a a second time. We finally ended up with Lane 7 despite originally having booked an end lane.No apology or compensation given. Went to bar to order a round of drinks chap took order went of and never came back but was later seen leaving with his hat and coat on ! Then a young girl appeared and took order although she looked two young to be working behind the bar.She disappeared into kitchen and was later seen delivering meals to tables. Then another chap appeared and served me by which time a muttering queue had built up behind me as if it was my fault! Took me about a quarter of an hour to just to get a round in and more muttering when I got back to the lane as I had been holding up everyones game . Not a pleasant experience and certainly won't be rushing back.

It was such a brilliant time we had at the ten pin bowling, soft play and the games machine. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend anytime 😊

Booked a bowling lane and had a great time with our family. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was lots of space to sit down and chill next to Lane 12 which was great for us (I'm disabled). There was also a little arcade which my child enjoyed.

My son and I had an excellent time. The staff were really helpful as my young son's autism meant he was anxious as he had never been swimming here before. They went out of their way to send us pictures of the place before we arrived, when we got there they showed him the pool and explained the layout. He went from being scared to having a wonderful time. Thank you so, so much! 💓 Showers were hot and all working, got a locker no problem (these are non-existent at my local 'Better" leisure centre in Thornton Heath).

Lovely small bowling alley, social distancing adhered to. Clean and not crowded. Rather expensive at the moment. Concessions for children, OAP and disabled people not coming in until September.

  • 4/5 Joe G. 2 years ago on Google
Glad this is still open and kids are enjoying normal social development. Great place to take my four year old regularly. No one wears a mask and kids and adults all over the soft play areas. Staff are busy and helpful, cost seems to be about a stage for London. Such a shame there are not more places like this all over the place!

Took my 15th month old grandson to the pool today....Great fun and nicely set up with friendly helpful staff....BUT...oh my god its absolutely freezing. Cold air blasting in the shower and changing areas and the water is ridiculously cold...especially for the very young. My grandsons lips were blue after only a short time and other mums were saying the same thing. Stop being so mean and whack the heating on.

  • 1/5 Danielle O. 2 years ago on Google
TLDR: don't bother! I'm not sure what you're paying for with the family splash. Slides on for half an hour then switched off, no wave machine and about 4 tatty floats between everyone (who have the cram into the shallow pool because they won't allow kids even under direct supervision and in armbands anywhere near the regular pool). Don't even try and have fun, the kids with the whistles will make sure you stop that straight away. Total waste of money.

Fab place to unwind and have fun. Fantastic facilities. Well stocked gym. Lots of classes for all ages. Soft play for the children and Ten pin bowling for the family!

Went bowling here with my partner. First of all we placed next to a large group of youngsters to share the aisle yet the rest of the bowling alley seemed free. We asked if they would kindly move us which they did. We played 2 games each. Throughout the game pins were missing when the skittles came down. When we finished our last game we looked up to get our total scores and there was just a screen saying about a new game and then two people had walked over to come onto our lane. We had only just finished and we didn’t even know our finals scores. We had to go back to reception and explain what had happened. It transpired that they had started the new customers game too early. Luckily they were able to get our scores from the computer system after we insisted that we wanted to know our scores.

We visited bowling today, it was empty apart from us which was a nice treat. Having never been before, it was a little complicated finding our way into the Pavillion building and through to bowling, more signage could be a positive. We booked aisle 1 online but were pointed over to aisle 10 and pretty much left to get on with it. The area wasn't particularly clean, it had just opened but there were sticky stains, glass circles and crumbs on the seating areas. We weren't given bowling shoes. There was an access ramp and space for a wheelchair to navigate safely. The arcades adjacent were great and is where the kids had the most fun. The soft play area looked very busy, we didn't use this but it looked like the other children were enjoying themselves!

Best Gym I've been to! Cardio machines have NFC readers to connect easily with your smart watch to track workouts. The free weights section has enough equipment to around, the class schedule is vast, the changing rooms are spacious and clean with the toilets too, staff are always welcome and courteous. It's well maintained and they are great at communicating changes to services and any maintenance via the app so you can plan your visit accordingly. During the various operating models throughout c19 they have really been proactive to communicate changes and created a very safe and secure environment 🙌🏿

I never write reviews but felt this was needed! I know these type of places are never that organised and can be manic however this is the worst one I have ever experienced! We went here for my daughters birthday, in total there was about 20 of us, each family booked separately. When entering into the changing rooms there were no cubicles available, which was needed as we had a baby and therefore needed a baby changing unit. When we finally got into the pool the baby pool was so cold we had to go into the main pool which was surprisingly slightly warmer but obviously busy. The wave machine was broken and the slide was shut, when we asked if the slide would be opening we were told it’s only open for the first 30 minutes of each session?? (something none of us was told at booking or when entering the pool/reception) as I’m sure you can appreciate the kids were disappointed as these 2 things were the main reason we went here in the first place. When time was up there was huge queues for the showers and no cubicles available again as these were mainly taken up by people with no kids??? Then they Let the next session I’m so it was really a challenge! Appreciate the changing area is small but surely there is a better way to organise this, maybe giving people time before letting the next session in?? I would say this is not family friendly especially if you have younger children

Nice swimming pool. But the flumes close randomly for no reason. Nice playground outside too

  • 5/5 Cindy A. 2 years ago on Google
I use the pool which isn't very big but good enough to swim in the morning to improve fitness. Aqua aerobic classes are great. Shame the pool has not been available for maintaining recently. All the receptionists are so very helpful, polite, friendly and happy. Its a pleasure to see them.

Soft play was hot, humid, over crowded, no control, bigger kids being nasty to smaller ones, parents could care less, and just a horrid experience. Never going back. As for swimming, again, over crowded, people arguing in the queues because they didn't book, dirty changing rooms, and we were told the wave machine was not working. Then it came on without warning and is just too strong in the shallows. Overall, I couldn't have thought of a worse play experience for young kids.

  • 5/5 Francine S. 1 year ago on Google
Brilliant and large soft play. Very busy in the weekend Halloween. But it’s ticketed so it’s not over occupied. This place is clean. We wear white socks there and left with socks still white. Other soft play they turn grey or black. Very quiet during the weekday which I prefer. I recommend

  • 4/5 Tim P. 1 year ago on Google
Bowling is good although small and a little inflexible (if you book 2 games you get 90 minutes, if you finish the games in 45, the lanes sit empty. You can't book more games in the time you have allocated). Arcade is small but fun, shame there are multiple machines out of order. Overall a good place to visit, good fun, nice staff, but could be improved.
