A return visit, this time for their lunch menu (Mon - Fri, 12pm - 4pm) - two courses for £12.95 - excellent value. Brilliant food and great service. A favourite of mine.

Visited this place first during the eat out to help out covid era and again this weekend and both times it was a 10/10 for both food and customer service. Particularly love the koftes and mixed grill. Would have loved to have tried the homemade baklava but unfortunately was way too full to attempt it. They have an £18.95 set lunch menu Monday- Friday which include a starter and main course.

Small, intimate, professional and friendly. The best lamb ribs I've had in a long time.We did the set menu to share and was not disappointed. A selection of starters came out that could have been a feast on it's own. Then the choice of one main. My rice, ribs and salad tasted very good. Had to take some home and when I ate it the next day, I promise you it was just as good. Not dry and simply seasoned. Coming back here for sure.

Great service, lovely food, massive portions. Ordered the set menu (dinner) which was great value, probably too much food but they generously gave us boxes to take food home. Lots of diners were regulars which is a good sign. We'll be back but probably going for smaller portions next time :)

Enjoyed such a lovely dinner at Hisar Meze Bar Beckenham tonight. The food is really very good: great olives and soft, chewy bread to start, we had incredible borek as an appetiser, alongside dolmades. The Helim plate - with the most flavourful veggies and tender bulgar wheat - was huge and delicious. Service was really charming and friendly;and the meal was excellent value. First time visiting tonight but not my last. Thank you so much Hisar Meze!

Can't believe we've never been here before. Such great food. The portions are ENORMOUS. The spices they add to all the dishes are perfectly balanced, the food is so well seasoned and cooked. I had the adana kofte and it was everything you want from that kind of kebab. The borek starter is also superbly light and flavoursome. The service was really friendly too. Very reasonably priced.

Lovely fresh food and friendly staff We had a 6 month baby with us, well behaved but 1 of the staff held him so we could eat lunch. So thoughtful

We went for lunch and Turkish coffee, it was all very tasty and our waiter was very accommodating, we would come back.

Best falafel I have ever had and I only had a taste. Really enjoyed the food here and felt it was good value for money. Staff were nice and accommodating as we had 3 kids in our party. Would definitely go back again for a local Mediterranean feast.

Lovely restaurant, a warm welcome as we came in, food was out of this world, waiters all obliging. Cleaned tables after every course, new napkin etc. Not to dear either. Will return again. Thank you all. Xx

Food was on point, very tasty, freshly made, quantity was more than reasonable just perfect we even had some left and took it away, reasonable prices, I can only recommend. Unfortunate, i do not live in London, otherwise I would have visited more often 😕. thanks for the great service.

Really nice restaurant. Only shaved a star on food as my mixed grill meat some pieces were over cooked. Apart from that it was Brill. Everyone had a great time. Quality excellent. Will re vist

My partner and I decided to pop into this restaurant and have an early dinner. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Ordered the lamb ribs and I was NOT disappointed. Very tasty and juicy. I will be back. Thank you so much , we had a great time.

Went for the bottomless brunch, the food was delicious, we were so full up. The cocktails were amazing and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We didn't have to ask for drinks, they just kept coming

I called the restaurant twice the first time someone hang up in my face because I asked them kindly to know call me honey or sweetheart to keep that professional. I being using this restaurants for years and it’s very very sad that when you call to do a complain, to sort things out between us He treat me like a liar or a freak, whoever answer my call was just being rude v very rude ( Manager or owner wants to hear our phone call I have record) I am disgusted by the attitude of whoever answer me do to my complain! I called to tell what happens with my calamari order , I only received two pieces!!! ( By the way almost 6 pounds) he said to me that the chef told them that was three pieces!!! now I didn’t wanna accuse the chef! but it’s a whole between the food left at the restaurant and wen came to my house??? I just received two passes!! Why I would waste my time for one little piece of calamari and why they couldn’t sort things up between us? By the end everything was cold !!!they lost a customer for their very bad attitude, I used to order 2,3 time a week ! but today I order from my mom app because my one it wasn’t working !! disgusting attitude !!! I will be treated better off on Koss

Great tasty food. There's a varied menu with good vegetarian options and you get served in good time after ordering. The staff are polite and friendly especially Mo - such a laugh. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend 😊

Great food, great staff and service and good cocktails. We went for the premium mixed grill for 2 which was lovely but we couldn't finish it. Could probably feed 3/4 hungry people so we just took the rest home. Staff were so attentive and friendly, will definitely be coming back.

It was a very nice experience. The food and wine were amazing. The staff were very helpful and nice with no delay whatsoever. Will definitely repeat it and i advise everyone to try it out (y)

It reminded me that food is so much better in a restaurant, the meat succulent, the flavours fresh and well balanced. The staff are as friendly and welcoming as ever with a great welcome to all who entered.

Its nice and everything, the cocktails are amazing! but the server was a sleaze. Was constantly disturbing us to ask personal questions and flirt - like "where's your boyfriends tonight" and stuff like that. Really unprofessional and annoying. He was just too much, I genuinely felt harassed.

The decor is amazing. The staff were attentive and friendly. But the best part was the food. So tender and juicy . The lamb was amazing ! The mango desert was to die for. I have found my favourite place in Beckenham. Had a wonderful date

Not the best Turkish food I've had. We ordered a mixture of starters and meat/fish mains. Some of the starters were disappointing. The mains were good though. When there are so many excellent places to eat in Beckenham not sure why anyone would go here.

We love Hisar, Beckenham. The food, service & atmosphere are all fantastic. Try the set menu... Great food, great price!

Amazing service and unreal food tonight! Food was a perfect portion size and super flavourful! The Turkish tea is best I’ve had. Wouldn’t go to another Turkish restaurant! Thanks again!

I love this place. It is tiny, so it's an idea to book in advance Friday/Saturday anyway. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. Definitely 5 stars.
