It's a beautiful square where you can see dozens of doves and flowers. People go there to relax and talk. It reflects Oruro's culture.

Historical place in the Center of Oruro city. Surrounded by hotels and restaurants, this is definitely a spot when visiting this city. In addition, public transportation is available fron and to this place. Traffic is an issue at peak hours. Enjoy the nice weather with a delicious ice cream.

It is the only worthwhile place to visit in Oruro. The old buildings belong to the times when the tin mining gave the town a "European" face, times of the famous "Tin Barons" who became some of the richest people in the world. Unfortunately, progress is destroying the cultural heritage and towers, that pretend to be modern, are being built instead.

Most important businesses are around here. Most banks are around, as well as many small businesses, restaurants and hotels. It may be hard to get a parking spot because streets are narrow and there are few private parking lots. There are many traffic jams in several corners. I suggest taking a taxi, public transportation or walking rather than bringing your own car if you plan to stay around longer.

The most important central square of this city with lots of historical buildings around it. A good place to gather with friends and family. Just wish people would not litter.

Lovely, clean, and well lit at night. We (2 women) felt safe walking through after dark.
