A Dear friend that had applied for a job here, knew we would really like Cedarhurst knowing we were looking for an assisted living community. So our children brought us to tour and we were all impressed. Upon walking in, the decor has a feeling of warmth and hospitality. It makes us proud to show off that this is our home. They made us feel so welcome and at home. We having been living at Cedarhurst of Blue Springs for almost a year now. The staff has proven many times that resident care and well being is very important to them. Our Executive Director, Jennifer, is very hands on, approachable, and always visits residents. It shows she truly cares about us and how we are doing. The residents really appreciate her compassion. They encourage us to participate in the activities that are offered. The physical therapy and the gym are excellent. Our children are at ease knowing that we in a good place, taken care of and very happy here.

I have seen the staff interact as if they were family. The homespace is amazing, very clean and homey facility. Love the environment. When I went to visit I was greeted by a women named Casey, you could tell she really loved her job. She was so friendly, and lovely. While I was there a resident had stopped by and asked her a question and within a second, she got up and helped her. I love that. Says a lot about a company. I seen another employee name kelly the Community relations director. Sharing a unforgettable moment with a resident and her family while the resident was playing a piano and her family was singing. It was such a beautiful thing, it brought tears to my eyes. I watch another employee name Gregory which is Resident care manager bring up flowers to another resident all because they Mention they loved the flower arrangements and wish they had some. You can tell the staff here really loves what they do, and I personally can say I’m so in love with that. I wouldnt want my family members anywhere else. So thank you to all of the Cedarhurst staff member and all that you guys do. We will have a lifetime relation with the company because of your location and your wonderful team.

Cedarhurst is an amazing community it’s nice clean organized and welcoming! The staff always have a smile on their face but one employee stood out the most Casey! She was understanding compassionate and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this community hands down to everyone. Stop in and see Casey she will have you and your loved one feeling just like family!

My Mother and father moved to Cedarhurst due to my mother suffering a stroke in July. They wanted to be together and so they both moved to assisted living. The care and concern they received I believe was exceptional. Every single staff member has been extremely kind and loving! We could not have asked for better care for my parents during this difficult time. My mother passed on October 26, and my Dad has since moved to an independent living community, but we will miss the caring and loving staff at Cedarhurst. Thank you ALL for all that you did for them!

Mom has been living at Cedarhurst for almost two years. The entire Cedarhurst staff is wonderful and truly care about their residents. I'm there every day to spend the afternoon with Mom and am always impressed with the care given to Mom and the other residents. They call everyone by name and know their needs. The dining room serves a special menu if you don't like what they're serving for that meal. There are various activities, including bingo, outings, manicures, and crafts scheduled by the acitivities manager throughout the day, but you don't have to participate. The hair stylist does a great job. The facility is clean and maintenance is timely. There have only been a couple of issues, but they were taken care of quickly. I would recommend Cedarhurst to anyone who needs assistance with daily living.

My mom lived here and the care was pretty good. I would give a 3.5 star but there isn't one. They helped her when she needed it and the workers were caring. I wish they would have showered them more frequently. When she moved in, they said she could get 3 showers a week but after a while they would only do 2, which in my opinion is gross especially when you have some incontinence issues. There were multiple times I asked the activities director and workers to try to get her out for activities but they rarely came and brought her to activities which is half of what you pay for when you put your family member in a facility like this. When we would call up needing to talk about something, the front desk person would say they would give a message and took our phone number down but we never heard back so I always wondered if she relayed the messages. We were very impressed with Jamie and the physical therapy department. She was very good at updating us on how my mom was doing and if anything was needed she would let us know. Facilities should provide toilet paper. Many of the elderly people can't get out and don't drive so I don't know how you expect them to get it. Overall I felt like the nurses were good but the management team seemed a little bit lacking and there was a lot of turnover in the management while she was there. I also had to call and tell them that they had submitted her information for long term care nsurance wrong multiple times which was a bit frustrating.

I’ve visited Cedarhurst 2 times, a wonderful place. I would recommend this assisted living/memory care facility to all people. Specifically, Lexi is a great asset to the team and I saw how much the residents enjoy her presence with activities. Great staff.
