We did our wedding at redemption ranch. To start with they give you a coordinator who contacts you. The coordinator contacted us and then would not respond to any messages. Apparently the coordinator quit and no one relayed anything to us. After several weeks of nothing another coordinator finally reached out to us. The coordinator Kristen did amazing. We paid extra for a hayride to do our pictures and a side by side yo bring guest from the parking lots. They hat ride was a joke. The driver was 15 minutes late which is pretty awful when trying to keep a time line for a wedding. The hay was loose and not covered by anything so straw went everywhere on the dresses and suits. To get into the wagon you had to climb a separate step ladder that wasn’t attached to the trailer and step over a ledge. Which is pretty hard to do in a bridesmaid and wedding shoes. Not to even mention trying to do so in a wedding dress. The side by side was handy to transport guest. The have a security company that does security for the place which we were informed it would be a off duty cop that would blend in with the crowd. The cop showed up around 8 with a police shirt and a gun with a full duty belt which seems pretty unnecessary for a wedding. The whole time he was bugging guest and toward the end of the night he started singing really obnoxiously. The owners live right there and have dogs who during the morning hours were running everywhere and running inside the wedding venue. The dogs would jump in the lake and then run inside. When we emailed the venue staff about the issues they acted like they didn’t care. All they cared about was that they got paid. For the price of this venue you would think they would have there stuff together. Hopefully others have had better luck.

They need better acoustics. It felt like being in a tunnel. So loud. Unable to hear the DJ unless you were right by the sound system. With everyone’s voices reverberating around all the walls, you have to almost yell to talk to the people at your table. The road is large gravel and not good for walking with dress shoes. The area isn’t well marked and if you happen to go in the other side, you go through the kids camp, then you take a long dusty road and through a creek to get to the other side. It could be a nice place if there were better markers and better acoustics.

We just had our wedding here and cannot recommend Redemption Ranch highly enough. This venue gives you the freedom to use any other vendors of your choosing, and they provide a day-of coordinator. They gave us a list of recommended vendors, we used a lot of them, and they were all wonderful and familiar with the venue (which really comes in handy). The wedding was gorgeous and all of our guests loved the location. There is a large patio outside, so our guests who didn't want to dance hung out outside. It is a fantastic space and the customer service is great.

Redemption Ranch is a very beautiful venue. We were very excited to habe our wedding there, as we wanted an outdoor option for our ceremony and to hold the reception after. Our experience was disappointing, my coordinator was switched 3 times and I felt lost through most of the planning. Please make sure to ask lots of questions when reviewing the contract, I would recommend meeting with the coordinator assigned to follow up with how the process works. It was a little stressful with last minute details I was informed needed to be assigned to someone as a task. We also paid extra for the hayride that was stated to go to multiple scenic locations on the 95 acre ranch and we were taken basically to one location. They did work with us on the chairs for the outdoor ceremony as long as we set them up and took them down, that was a positive to help with cost. The day of the wedding the toilet in the bridal/handicap stall didn't work well. We were instructed to just take the lid off to fix as it was a known issue we found out. Also during my reception I was asked about an outstanding balance that we did not owe. I felt this added stress that should have been reviewed or talked about before the day of the wedding. Also my bridal party and others were instructed to help take down tables and chairs afterwards, I had asked several times what we were responsible for cleaning up and that was not part of what I was told. If you hold you wedding here please be sure to ask lots of questions during your tour and contract signing to make sure you understand it all. If you are looking for a more inexpensive, do it yourself, outdoor scenic venue, then this is definitely a place for you.

My husband and I got married here in October. I am so happy that we found this place! Everything was so perfect. Lindsey was absolutely incredible and didn't miss a single detail. Our guests loved the ranch too and had a great time. We will always cherish our wedding day and the memories made at the ranch.
