Aguinid Falls Entry Fee - 350 PESOS per pax Guide: Tip-based and 2 guides are required. NOTE: The trek to the falls will get you wet. Remember to bring any waterproof bags if you’re not comfortable leaving your things at the entrance. 📌 How to get there? 📍 Exact location: Brgy. Tangbo, Samboan, Southern Cebu — 3.5 hours away from Cebu City. Find your way to Cebu South Bus Terminal. From there, ride a bus bound for Samboan/Bato via Barili and remind the driver to drop you off at Aguinid Falls in Brgy. Tangbo. Look for a signage at a nearby basketball court or ask the locals for directions. From here, you can hire a habal-habal driver to take you to the registration area of Aguinid Falls. There is also a parking space for private vehicles at the registration area.

Entrance fee on the paper is 150 PHP per person, but the woman saw us that we are tourist and takes us 300PHP per person. She told us that we will have a guide, because without guide we can not go, but we need to pay him separatly because he does not have salary ( because he hd a beautiful story we gave him 1000PHP, but in fact was a scam .. but anyway this was our fault) . After 1 h of climbing of 8 levels beautiful waterfalls we go to our car and another woman come to request 50 PHP for parking.. wich is not much but we pay the entrance fee, the guide ... it's not fair enough) .. overall experience as tourist is not good cause they scam us..the views were nice

We thought Aguinid was a rip off. It’s now 300p per person, even though the official sign says 150p. Which is still much more than anywhere else. We prefer to go to Inambakan Waterfalls. A little bit harder to get to. Was deserted when we got there. And only 50p. Photo below.

Beautiful waterfall with many levels to climb.

As of 29th April 2023 the price is 300 pesos per person. A local guide per person is compulsory and the guides don't get any of that 300, so your expected to pay (tip) them too. We paid them 100 pesos each. So an 800 peso experience which seems a bit much if you are seeing the other waterfalls in the area too. The guides are compulsory and after doing the tour I realise they are needed as there are some sections where you need to know where to grip the limestone as you climb up the waterfall. It could be dangerous if you don't have good upper body strength as you need to pull yourself up a few times. We got there about 9.20am on a Saturday and there was only one other couple there. Our guides took some great photos of us throughout the trek. Overall still probably worth the experience as there are eight beautiful levels of waterfalls to see! Hope this helps a few people! <3

Extra ordinary experience with different levels of adventures and each level has a unique form of breathtaking rock formations and massive waterfalls that totally require some sort of heavy physical capability and determination to accomplish each level especially from the 1st set of extreme challenges starting in level 2 up to level 8 with the best fulfillment and worth it after reaching the top point.

This was an amazing experience! Compared to canyoneering where you go down the falls, Aguinid takes you up 8 levels of waterfalls in 2-3 hours. But I must set expectations: swimming and jumping is limited because water is shallow. The thrill comes from climbing. There's a section with a rope climb that I absolutely loved.

It was so fun and though more expensive than other falls(350 per person) they provide you with the essentials(helmet, lifevest, wetshoes) and you can buy(dry bags, waterproof phone cases) from the local shops nearby. We were the only visitors at that time, and we wish more people would visit. The locals are so friendly, and the guides are amazing. It's not an easy climb though, I don't think you should bring very young children here. But the falls(levels 0-8) and water are amazing. Trust and listen to your guides. If they tell you to hold their hand and climb, do it because they are strong and know what they are doing. Don't forget to tip them! I loved the experience and had so much fun😁

8 tiered waterfalls. Requires some rock scrambling and climbing. Water was cold and clear. Guide is mandatory but has no fixed rate, you can just give them any amount but you can be generous. Weekdays are best day to visit and weekend could be crowded. One of the picturesque waterfalls in south Cebu

It was an A+mazing experience! There were not so many people when we visited. When we reached the 2nd level, we had the falls to ourselves. It's beginner friendly(not slippery at all) and our guides were very helpful. Please remember to tip generously. The gears (life vest, water shoes and helmet) are required and are included in the P300 fee. I recommend bringing your own water shoes if you have one as they sometimes do not have your size. Overall, I think Aguinid waterfalls are underrated and are really worth a visit.

We stopped by after doing the whale watching in Oslob. We followed the sign from the road into the parking area. It was a tight driveway but we kept going and eventually reached houses. Some of the stalls there sell water shoes, which in hindsight, would be good to get if you don't have any. We were in jandals and managed to get up and down. There is a small entrance fee and it comes with a guide. It was really fun going up the waterfall to the different levels. There are five levels in total. We didn't rush it and spent quite a bit of time taking dips in the pool and taking photos in the different levels. Be aware that there is a parking fee.

What a fantastic experience. The guides are great, make sure you give them a tip, they have no salary and make your adventure sooo much better. I highly recommend.

Amazing waterfalls you can climb up. You have to have 2 guides, and they really help you and tell you where to pit your feet and hands. They also takes loads of pics and videos. As it was 2 of us, we felt extremely well taken care of. Don't forget to tip them as they don't get paid. You pay for the entrance and parking, and they give you lifevests and hard hats. We had amazing time, such beautiful waterfalls spread over 8 levels. They take you back down by can.

Best place for no tourist and perfect guide ! The price is a little bit expensive but really nice. Easy for all people with a little of agility ;) 350p each, 20p for parking, and tips for the guide !

Great experience and the guide were very helpful. The water falls were beautiful. Also, on Wednesdays the majority of the waterfalls are close so plan accordingly.

The system is such that each group requires two guides - I was by myself so it was two of them plus me, meaning I effectively had my own personal photographer as well as my own guide (I was pressured into buying a phone case thing outside because it's unthinkable that anyone wouldn't want to take their phone up a set of waterfalls!). It's 300php entry and the guides apparently don't get any of that, which they will remind you of several times. They are 'volunteers' so rely on tips for income. This is what they say, anyway. Personally I think I prefer a system where you pay for the guide upfront and then tip on top as and when. But hey ho. The falls are cool - options for jumping, climbing, relaxing etc. They close an hour or two before sunset.

We were there on a Wednesday before 7.30 am, there were doing some cleaning up. Recommended don't go there too early. Our guides of the day are very helpful, take initiative to help us take photos.

A fun little trip up a cascade of waterfalls. The setting in the jungle is beautiful, the water is super clean and refreshing. The guides were nice and helpful and the cost is low. Tip your guides as they don't actually get paid.

Based on our visit on June 2nd week. Good water falls. Water supply was less but was good enough for fun. There are 8 levels of climbing however only 5 levels are advised as the next 3 are dangerous. Free lance guides are assigned. Their service is just awesome. They took care of us very well. Its completely safe with them around.

Amazing waterfalls, not only one but many waterfalls from level 0 to level 5. The color of water is blue and not slippery.

The best waterfalls! It was a fairly easy climb until level 8 since the rocks were, surprisingly, not that slippery and really enjoy the sights and sounds. Tips: Prepare to get! so be sure to waterproof your things...

Protective/safety gears and 2 experienced local guides included in the 300 pesos per pax experience of this awesome 8 levels waterfalls! Clear clean flowing waters and rocks not slippery! Enjoyable and sometimes challenging climb up. Hand your iPhones (in waterproof case-which can also be purchased at the entrance for 100 pesos) to the guide who will take photos of you and your group unhurried and spectacular angles! They deserved good tips for these shots and for keeping your experience safe and enjoyable!
