An adventurous place to visit! Very beautiful place and helpful staff. There's an entrance fee and expected tip of the 2 tour guides that go with you. They are very helpful and accommodating. They will take your pictures and give you specific instructions on how to get up on to the multiple levels. This is not really meant to lounge around for long periods of time. I'm sure you can but it's more about the hike and experience. Must stop here if you plan to visit Cebu and up for a little challenge!

For me this is the new canyoneering in Cebu South. But the fees is not that reasonable. for Php 300/head you will get a canyoneering gear set and a guide. During our visit we got an issue with one of our guides. She is not that good in entertaining guest, not welcoming at all and doesn't answer some of our questions. 5 star just for the place it self but for overall experience I will rate it as 3 stars

After charging different prices for toilet use, car parking. I have the impression you can be charged extras wherever it feels easy to exploit foreign tourists. Happy to pay but have clear prices not changing from person to person!

Aguinid Falls is another epic multi-leveled waterfall located in the Samboan Municipality in South Cebu. Here, you’ll find five levels of flowing waterfalls, each with the opportunity for swimming and jump into the crystal-blue Cebu jungle water. Went for a quick visit here and it was truly the highlight of our Day! There is an Entrance Fee of Php 300 per Persons (inclusive of Entrance Fee, Environmental Fees, Guide Fees and Safety Gears (shoes and helmet) and I think it was worth the price. The falls was until 8th Level and I can say each level was a true combination of adventure and beauty. Our Guides (Kuya Mark and Ate Cora) were very friendly and supportive. It's not as touristy as other waterfalls for sure but for an introverted office worker like me, the Aguinid Falls course is just right. I loved being among the quiet lush greenery. I'm always in the city so to see greenery instead of buildings and cars was very refreshing. Aguinid Falls is unique because it is not a single waterfall. Rather it is a system of waterfalls that runs for a couple of kilometers along Tangbo River. Since it was promoted as an eco-tourism destination, locals and foreigners have witnessed this one-of-a-kind, multi-tiered waterfall system. We didn't expect to be climbed that way, we took 2 very nice guides with us. The rocks we climbed some are very slippery (especially the black rocks) need to pay attention and be careful. I would recommend taking a guide as there is a guy they tie a rope with and need to climb with him. The climb itself was amazing and the water there is very pleasant.

It was an A+mazing experience! There were not so many people when we visited. When we reached the 2nd level, we had the falls to ourselves. It's beginner friendly(not slippery at all) and our guides were very helpful. Please remember to tip generously. The gears (life vest, water shoes and helmet) are required and are included in the P300 fee. I recommend bringing your own water shoes if you have one as they sometimes do not have your size. Overall, I think Aguinid waterfalls are underrated and are really worth a visit.

The two stars are for the waterfalls. They are breathtakingly beautiful and there are opportunities to also stand underneath the smaller ones or enjoy a swim. But it’s a quick tour. You could spend more than an hour but tour guides are kind of pushy to continue. They make sure you are safe but that is it. It felt like we were disturbing their lunch break and they didn’t want to show us around(but guides are mandatory) The entrance fee was 350p (including guide?!!) but then once the tour is finished the guides start begging for a tip saying they don’t get any wages as a tour guide After paying a tip (we did 150p per guide, is it too much?) believing the sad story in that moment (later realizing nope it was a lie) you will finally have to pay another 50p for parking They see a tourist and are happy to see a cash cow, would’ve been nice to be at least treated like a guest and not an annoyance

If there is only one waterfalls i can go to or bring guests to, it's going to be this one. Very short hike then you hit the start of the 5 tier falls. From easy to the in-your-face-water-splashing-rock-climbing level to the jumping-off portion and to the all-instagramable part of this fantastic heck of a place! Go during the rainy season, July-November and you'll have more water than you can handle. Compared to the summer months and worst of time, during weekends (Friday-Sunday) and you might have more people than water!! The guides, men and women, don't get salary and there are plenty of them, all having their turn everyday. There are more days that they only get to do one round and that's it for the food on their table. The effort and attention to details especially Louie and the other women guides (yes, Louie is a girl) put is worth every peso you give. And they are excellent photographers too!

I saw the signs along the road and somehow this place sounds familiar so we stopped in this place. I will give 5 stars to the falls but I will give 3 stars that you can only go there and you need to have two guides. But all in all I liked it.

This waterfall system has more or less 7 tiers. The climbs are moderate, good for any beginner-canyoner. The waters were very clean, we were the only visitors that time so it made it even better. Go there during the weekdays to avoid the crowds.

If you're looking for an adventure, this place is for you. It does not look challenging but wait til you reach the highest level. If you extra cash, please give a tip to your guides. They only get a small portion of what you're paying at the entrance. Support local!!

Oh please this is so underrated! The Aguinid waterfalls are a great experience for beginners and should be visited with a big tip and equipment, such as life jackets, water shoes, and helmets. The overall experience is wholesome! It's literally an adventure! WORTH TO TRY!

I loved the adventure and the Adrenaline rush every time I try to get a grip on a slot on the rock so I can hoist myself over. One unique experience indeed that one can only experience in Aguinid.

The Aguinid Waterfalls is one of the best waterfalls i have visited in the south of cebu. it is consist of 8 level or 8 drops of the falls in which you get all thebadventures you like. The guides are well trained, no need to worry they got your back for a wonderfull experience. Siempre Samboan

Waterfall was well maintained and easy to climb. Entance fee was 350p which includes the gear (life jacket, helmet, shoes), 2 guides and the truck that will bring you down. I am not sure about the standard rate but I gave each guide 150p.
