These are ancient caves and it is near to Osmanabad city. It has lot of ruins of monuments and statues, it has some untouched statues as well. But this ancient place is not maitained properly by local authorities, lot of goons roam here openly. It is not safe place for solo woman as well as couples to visit.. whole caves can be covered within an hour..

A good to visit place near to Solapur but only during monsoon. Nothing much to see or explore. Also the caves are not in a good condition, you definitely cannot enter inside any untill you are an archaeologist 😂. All the caves are filled with bats and many more animals and insects. The place is not properly maintained, anything written on the walls with pain. In short, a historical site has been harmed very badly. It's not worth that visit.

Very disappointed the this site is maintained. People doesn't know the importance of such places. Don't understand why they have to write on every wall and destroy it's historical footprints. Archeological Survey of India should take responsibility to take care of this site.

Dharashiv caves are a series of old rock cut caves built around fifth century AD. Researchers say that they were originally Buddhist caves and were later patronized by Jains. A couple of caves are serving as Jain temples and they are somewhat maintained. Other caves are in very bad condition and requires upkeep. No guards are posted for security and no guides are available. The landscape and terrain are awesome. Need a couple hours to visit including transit time from Osmanabad. Single females better avoid. Open round the clock. No gate, no guards or time keepers. Free for all.

Historic place, a must visit spot near Osmanabad. Road for four wheeler is also good. The only request to visitors is not to litter around. Please keep it clean.

This place is not that good. This place is not ideal to go with family. There's nothing to see much because people have written many unpleasant things on the monuments. Only few sculptures are there, some greenary and shallow stream is there which is watchable and soothing. If you want to calm yourself and want to detach yourself from the core of the city you can come here. Coming alone here might be kind of dangerous as it is drastically peaceful and planned ambushing favourable place.

Prettiest Place, Very peaceful, But I don't know why, few boys were shouting ,saying bad words , intentionally trying to break the serenity of the place. If you are local it's your responsibility to take care of such historical masterpiece. Please don't ruin image of this place and our beloved hometown dharashiv. I request if anybody saw such kind of people please try to stop them, If new visitors are coming to expore caves, they might get wrong idea about whole people of dharashiv. Please protect our monument 🙏

It's historical place.when you go there we will see peacefulness it is more because in the middle we see the lord mahadeva temple . In the caves we see the bhagwan Buddha's murtris from the Bauddhist culuture. In this it has no source of water or any hotel .the place is located in out of the town. If you visit the you take proper precautions we do go alone in this places we should go with our trusted people. We will read all the notice paint on the walls boards.we visit in holidays weekend
