The best cafe we visited while in Ostrava for a week. Their coffee is award-winning and their food is noteworthy. We ordered lattes, chocolate croissants, and a yogurt/granola/fruit bowl. Everything tasted great and service was on point.

Best coffee in Ostrava with great vegan milk options, just a real shame it costs more for the alternative milk, as lots of people choose not to drink cows milk these days. Did I mention the coffee is great!

I know, I know. Giving all five stars doesn't look good. It looks biased, amateur, or even inauthentic. But what can I do? They serve the best espress in town. Oh wait. Their cakes are not fresh sometimes, and I really didn't like their sandwiches. There. You can see that I'm being very objective, right? Still, I love this place with all my heart. P.S. COKAFE is sooo overrated!

This is by far the best café in Ostrava. They serve coffee roasted by Coffee Culture which is arguably the best roastery in the country. I have never been disappointed with any of their coffee drinks, from flat white to cold brew. Beside being on top of their coffee game, they employ very kind staff and serve great sweets. What are you waiting for? Go!

One of Ostrava's best cafes, and one of the few that opens early in the morning. The staff are friendly and helpful. Everyone is happy to speak English, and English menus are available. The Black Tree is a community-focused, dog friendly local business, with a great, positive feel to it. Good wi-fi and a calm atmosphere also make this a great place to work, read, or just people-watch for a quiet hour or two.

Absolutely best coffee in town. Offers either wide range of good quality coffees or wide range of cakes, bagel etc. The staff is warm and always at your disposal.

Really tasty latte with soya coconut milk! I was pleasantly surprised by how well the non-dairy milk goes with the coffee. Definitely recommend trying this. The plum poppy seed tart wasn't my type of dessert though. Overall, good cafe ambience, great for work/study, friendly staff, free speedy WiFi.
