    This is a beautiful place to spend an hour or two. Car parks are positioned around a kilometre from the square. The walk to the square gives you a view of the Truba tower. When in the square do a circular walk heading from the square to the right and up and around to the tower and then down the many steps to the square again.

    The spirit of this place is conspicuous. The watchtower of Truba, the pitoresque square, lovely church. The services were excellent back in 2018, still respectable in 2021. Gladly returning...

    Very nice and picturesque small town. I recommend you to try a "Štramberk ears" when you are there :)

    The city is full of beautiful wooden houses that make it look more like a village in the mountains, there is a former quarry made into an arboretum (it is quite new so don't expect lots of old trees) which is really worth visiting.

    We visited the town in order to see the Truba tower and buy some Uszy, and we ended up by accident in the town square, driving up the steep incline from the main road. The square features a souvenir shop, a bakery, a post office all housed in charming examples of old Moravian architecture. Very good looking place.
