I stayed there one night, room was ok, but very hot inside, didnt find the controler for the AC to turn it on so I slept with open window! Bed was average comfy, but very nice shower! The cleaning service woke me up at 9 when cleaning the neighbour room with vacuum cleaner and shouting around very loud 🙈 Also my friend who stayed in the neighbour room (mine was between) woke up from the shouting he told me later! I think this is a completly NO GO for any hotel!!! Breakfast was nice altough! Parking at hotel parking was 6euros for 1 day!

It's really strange that hotel is not either hospitality nor want to make any money on guests. As a supposed to be luxury (pretending) - hotel is not keeping it's own standards. Informing that kitchen is open till 21 Is not true. When we entered at 20:45 we were told is closed and they can give us soup. Receptionist was rude and didn't want to hear a complaint. Rooms depending from floor are different standard. As a plu - breakfasts are great.

Maybe once a great hotel, but today is tired and in need of a major renovation. Staff is friendly but unfortunately also bit tired.

Superb location, close to many good restaurants. Easy parking. Great service, good breakfast. All of this offsets the tired rooms and dated bathrooms. Prefer the Imperial over the similar Mercure Mercure much nicer but limited Mercure parking can lead to a 25 minute hunt for scare street parking

worst hotel in my life. service is the worst !!! as if they were handicapped, in third world countries it is better, the staff should be banned from approaching people, they are racists !!! the rooms are dingy and stink, in the bathroom you can see ridges on the joints, vein marks on the carpet, and I also got cold sores on my lips. stay away from this terrible place, because they will infect you with something. Such places qualify for closure. I've never given negative reviews in my life, but I really want to warn you here.

Good stay, we were able to check in early, at 12, and late checkout is available, both are convenient. Room was clean and well equipped, good bathroom and shower.

The quality of the room 550 does not match the price (3571 CZK).

The room is old and needs a renovation. Considering the price I expected more. The location is good, very central. There is are good parking possibilities and the breakfast is very good!

The hotel is in a great location, however the rooms are in need of major refurbishment. Unfortunately, the room is not cleaned every day, towels are not changed every day and if they are cleaned, it is very vague and imprecise. You have to be very careful in the parking lot as it is very tight. The arrangement of parking spaces limits the possibility of leaving the parking space. The gym is completely unfurnished. No weight, no barbells or basic gym stuff. Breakfasts are affordable. Completely inadequate price to quality. Overall I do not recommend this hotel and I am surprised how a hotel like this can be 4 * ...

Thanks Natálie for room service, all morning and afternoon shift front office that was welcoming us on 30.7.2022. Unfortunately the night shift was terrible. I dont know if there are any places that chase guest away from a parking spot that was free then place a reserve sign right after. This telling me that we are not welcomed here

Perfect location in Ostrava, close to shopping and the party street. Nice comfy bed with a perfect big pillow. Only negative is a small shower with really sleepery floors, so be careful when washing feets. Training room for those who need to that on vacation. Restaurant and bar with good food and beer, but cheaper alternatives around the hotel. Service is exellent and they all speak english enough to make your stay good.

The level is just barely three stars. I would rate two for the level of the fornitures, four for the level of the cleaning and four as well for the level of the breakfast. It's just too old, that's it. Lack of safety lock for the windows which can be fully opened,. watch out if you have kids. Very kind employees

Everythings fine, check-in, room was okay BUT the whole experience is ruined by a night shift front office attendee male really chased us away from the parking spot that was free telling us we have to park other place because it is for long car (no sign saying so) mean while there are lots of normal vehicles there, then placed the reserved sign right after that. The way he dealt with the situation was not professional at all. Even though this place is very close to the places that we need to come but not coming back for sure. We came back 12pm, when the attendee did that (checkin time is 2pm-12pm) and in the morning the spot was free. Now this is not showing respect + unprofessional for our visit. Not coming back after this.

Even thouthe location is fantastic I am giving it overall 1*. My stay there was a disaster. First of all there is no pool not even a jacuzzi so pictures are misleading admins should take them off and be clear with information that pool was closed down. Rooms are clean but more a b&b standard than a 3* hotel. Beds are uncomfortable I woke up with a stiff neck. Its hot, aircon doesn't work and bedding is thick as if for russian winter. But the worst part of all: there was no hot water. I wanted to check out and get a refund. Was convinced I will get a discount upon the checkout if I only stayed. So I convinced my 3yo to bare the cold water only to not get any discount only excuse that it was a problem with a city water heating. Outrageous. Also ČK75 for water. That is €3 for 500ml.

Location is great. Very comfortable setting. Seems a bit outdated as far as furnishings and bathrooms. Not a deal breaker. Would stay here again if i am in Ostrava in the future.

Very good location downtown close to everything by walking. Rooms are mediocre at best with very old furnishings and a lot of issues - including missing bulbs. Otherwise it is comfortable for a couple of days stay. Breakfast is ok but don't expect anything original.

Perfect team inviting to this hotel ; perfectly speaking German receptionist, spacy and clean rooms in the middle of the heart of the city. The right place to start the exploration of the famous street of pubs ;-)

The room was clean, we enjoyed our stay overnight. I can say the breakfast lived up to the hype, it's really complete so everyone can find what they prefer. Also the gym and sauna were a really nice Sunday extra.

At first, I need to say that every member of the staff was just amazing, from reception to waiters! Thank you all for making my stay a bit nicer (11-12.6)! Everyone was smiling and providing marvelous service. Hotel was clean, rooms as well. Since the price is higher compared to different 4* hotels in Ostrava I am just going to compare with another hotels I stayed in Ostrava. In cheaper hotel in Ostrava that is (3/5 of the price per night compared to this one) you will get 2 bottles of water per room for FREE, however here in Imperial you have 1 bottle for 75CZK ( it's simply outrageous with the money you pay for room for simple water, they could include it in price, noone would notice, but paying for water when you get to your room after long travel...), in different hotel you are also having chocolate on pillow. I know it may sound picky, but as there are many 4* hotels in Ostrava. I am only judging based on my personal experience(since I have been in many in this city), and these small things like free water or candy on pillow makes the difference. I know that Imperial hotel is just living history, therefore I am not going to compare appliances. Maybe just that I was surprised by "cable TV" which basically had basic channels of international origin, don't expect HBO or movie channels. TV is also very limited for use, so don't expect to project your laptop there (I had business suit), they have older Philips. Bathroom was smaller, but ok. Cosmetic products and all necessary things were there, so also ok. Concerning food: breakfast, even during pandemic, was very various and delicious. I have been also there for dinner and it was just perfect. Restaurant is just 10/10. Since it's still covid19 period, they stated that not necessary papers were removed from room - I can understand this. However, I was missing at least paper with information about breakfast time. It is not on the paper with information of your room number for some reason, but its not anywhere in room papers either. Of course I can ask on reception, just suggestion: please put the breakfast time interval on the paper which is given to guests with their room card. But I have not found this info anywhere, not even on webpages. Overall: It was very nice stay, no issues, but it just could be better for the price.. As such unfortunately it is not worth it in my view, as there are another 4* hotels in Ostrava with better "guest experience", even though they both provide same services.

A four-star hotel, really? I was "relocated" to this hotel after I made a reservation at the Quality Hotel in Ostrava, which turned out to be closed. I was expecting at least a similar service... What a disappointment! There was a very bad smell in the corridor and the room. The staff, very helpful, offered me another room but without air conditioning, so I decided to keep mine. However, the air conditioner was so noisy that it was unusable. Otherwise the room was clean, even if it felt dated and view from the window was rather depressing.

It is called a 4 stars hotel, but in reality it is not having more than 3. More than 90 euros per night with breakfast included it is al litle bit too much for these 3 stars conditions.

  • 3/5 Ralph X. 2 years ago on Google
Bottle of water in a room at a 4 star hotel was €4 (75 ck) and it was bottled in 2017 😬 Rooms hot unless you turn the super loud AC on 🥵 Staff nice tho

Nice hotel with comfortable bed and clean rooms. Parking available directly at the hotel. In general the hotel rooms / bath could be modernized in the future to remain on 4 star rating for this region of the world.
