We shared a wonderful meal here with family. Fantastic choice of traditional Czech cuisine, featuring locally sourced foods. Refreshing drinks and beers from their on site brewery are a must, and well worth a sample. Friendly and attentive staff, and prompt service left us with a fantastic and pleasant experience. We went here for both the beerspa and the food, as we were staying a few days in Ostrava and wanted to have a relaxing day inbetween all the exploring. The spa experience was really good. On arrival we got guided to the spa and the bath was prepared with special oil/herbs. We got 30 minutes in the tub with unlimited beer on tap. Afterwards we both got a relaxing 20 minute massage, where we could choose the massage and the types of oil used. The room itself has a romantic and calming atmosphere as well with the candle lights and music. We also reserved a table for after the spa and enjoyed some great food with a good wine. Staff was very friendly and spoke English which to me is always a plus. We even got an extra piece of dessert on the house. Would visit again and a recommendation from me.

Excellent food with very reasonable prices. We had an excellent lunch (with desert and beverages) for three for approximately 56 euros. It is a little off the beaten path but worth the diversion to eat here. The restaurant was filled with local clientele (a good sign) but all of my servers spoke great english. Quality and the taste of the food was excellent! Highly recommend!!!!!

We has a beautiful lunch here at the weekend. Highly recommend everything on the menu. Try the beer brewed on site, the dark beer is a personal favourite. Svičková was excellent with homemade dumplings Pork schnitzel was proper Austrian style and as big as the plate!

Beer spa - great experience! Great Picard beer, excellent service. Outdoor cinema in summer, playing Czech movies. Update after a few years: We had a wedding here, a fantastic atmosphere and perfect service! Still one of the best hotels and restaurants in the city!

It was not only one of the best hotel experience I had lately (firt time in a while the hotel looked exactly the same on Booking and in live), but also absolutely stunning food experience! The restaurant serves local dishes prepared in modern way. It's fresh and delicious. Also, the stuff is super friendly and polite.

Very good restaurant and very stylish hotel with themed rooms and great service. Were not in for wellness, but had a bit of their cosmetics on room and they were nice. The place next to park makes you forget you are in middle of Ostrava and the highway is very close for quick access.

The Zamek Zábřeh is one of our favorite places. Fantastic food and beer - very high quality Czech cuisine. Really cool theme rooms if you are looking to stay the night. The beer bath is also pretty spectacular.

We just spent 5 days in Ostrava for the World Junior Hockey Championships. We stayed here as a family of 4 in two rooms. We loved the atmosphere of the chateau - it’s a beautiful and historic building. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was typical of our experience travelling in Europe. I would have given 5 stars had the customer service been slightly better. We were disappointed by the lack of attention to the rooms being “made up” daily and by a less than warm reception at times...... although I will acknowledge that this may be slightly cultural and maybe a bit of a language barrier. On the other hand the pub/ restaurant food, craft beer, and staff were exceptional. We are there 3 times - both at lunch and dinner and had amazing food and service. Staff went out of their way to show us the incredible wine cellar and the coats of arms since the 1500’s ownership. Incredible! Eat here...... sit by the fire! Try the beer. It will not disappoint!

We went to the beer spa and the restaurant and both were above expectation! The spa is a nice experience, you get 30 minutes in the tub where you can drink beer and relax. There are some nice oils in the water that make your skin soft like a baby. Afterwards you get a very relaxing 20 minute massage. The dinner was also great. The waiter spoke English and the menu also had an English translation, it had a nice variety of options to choose from as well. The ambience outside is also very nice, feels a bit like some nature in the city. Would recommend this place!

Really nice place with a countryside vibe, an enclosed courtyard and large inside area. Brewery is a beautiful copper kit and makes some good beers, the tmavý was lovely. Service a bit "stand off" but that's normal for Czech really. Overall well worth the visit, 5 minutes from the tram.
