This was a very cool experience seeing the open-air village museum even though the mines were closed. We learned about the only striped flint mine in the world, dating back 5,000+ years! We really liked our guide who knew a lot about the site. Definitely bought souvenirs!

A group of 9 students travelled 600km from Vilnius to see the mines, arrived at 5PM and they didn't let us in, but work hours are 'till 6PM. Judging by the reviews, the tour is about 1 hour, and that's the exact time until closing. If the last visit is at 4PM, what the f they are doing untill 6PM - "working"? At least they let us to use the toilet, we holded for 200km

Ancient mines which are on the UNESCO list. You can visit it with a tour guide. It's around 20 minutes in the exposition and then washing in the nature reserve for around 1.5 hours including 30 mins underground. It's a really unique place and worth visiting. It's recommended to reserve your ticket in advance because there are a lot of people visiting this place.

Had a private tour since I was the only customer. The guide was highly knowledgeable and spoke enough English, though I understand Polish for the most part. Underground mine tour was good. It's clean and illuminated, no water pools. Pleasant tour including walk through the woods.

The tour guide was accommodating. You will definitely learn a lot of things and appreciate the craftsmanship of the neolithic people. The huts can improve more now that UNESCO will be backing Krzemionki- they were dirty and seemed like no one took care of it for a few years.

Unique place in Poland and proably in whole Europe. Flint mines older then Egyptian Pyramides. Interesting underground tunnels with sculptures, informations about people from ancient times and original flints. Stripped flint which is found only in Krzemionki can be bought by tourists - as raw material or necklace, ring or even dice. Next to enterance to undergounds there is ancient village which shows living habits of neolithic humans. During cyclic events there are shows about archeology. You can take part in them and feel as true archeologist. I can recommend visiting Krzemionki to every person interested in history and nature. If you are in Holy Cross mountains, you can't miss this place

This Museum that we discovered through relatives is a hidden gem of historical- scientific relevance, about Stone Age mining and living in flint stone style. New nicely refurbished facilities through the forest show a fascinating light and visual discovery of a very ancient era, like in a journey through thousands of years of time. Properly written translation in English makes it an attractive trip for people from any country, from a place that in ancient times was at the heart of Europe trade routes and living.
