I went there for a regular eye testing. The technician was incompetent and measured the power wrongly, but the doctor didn't cross check it. Instead, he canvassed for laser correction and more expensive treatment. Finally the new specs were useless and I lost Rs. 6000. This is my second bad experience with this hospital.

They have moved to a new building with ample space. Good staff and services. Doctor was very helpful, he took time to listen to us and explained the test results clearly. Not enough car parking space but can park at road side.

Very bad Hospital, very unhygenic and you may get infection by just entering there, have to wait from morning till evening for a minor surgery, rude hospital staff and they don't explain any details.They says " If you want to do you do otherwise don't do we follow this system here". Govt hospital is much better than this Rat house. Don't go, there are plenty good hospitals in Ernakulam city.

Not sure how they call the place a hospital with just 1 doctor on duty. To make matters worse, the doctor Anilkumar Nambiar kept patients waiting while going to other floors to attend to other patients. What was supposed to be a 5 or 10 minutes job to do a quick eye test for the driving license ended up taking close to 1 hour and 20 minutes and after all that, he left 1 form unsigned because he saw that my wife was having a walking stick. Now he could have easily clarified the reason for the stick but chose to not sign the form and have no reason. He told us to speak to the nurse who will let us know why it was not signed. Kind of high headed attitude for a doctor.

visited optical shop last week new shop was super compared to old now all major brands available like ray ban oakely ,carera etc. received new spectacle today a well fixed one

My experience with doctors was alright. But service from the opticals and the front end staff was dismal. Took 10 days for my specs to be ready and i had to follow up with them over 7 times in a single day to get a response from them. Customer service is not great. In 18 years of wearing specs i havent had this kind of an experience. I would suggest you go to a more reputed opticals to get better service. Prescription was sent directly to opticals, so before consultation please enquire if its mandatory to buy/get serviced from their opticals itself.

Worst ever experience. Despite having a pre booked appointment they made me wait for 2 hours just to do an eye checkup, no respect your time and the funny part is the power card goes to their own optical and if you will have to fight with the sales man for the prescription if you are not buying glasses from them.

IF THERE IS ZERO RATING ITS WOULD BE PERFECT.WORST HOSPITAL.WORST DOCTOR. ONLY GOT WASTED TIME .THE DOCTOR SHOWS HIS ORIGINAL UNPROFESSIONALISM

Process is very slow, spent too much time on chairs. You can approach there only if u have enough time. Second thing, the eye testing room is in upstairs, if you want to consult your aged parents

Its not eye hospital. It's blood donation centre for mosquitoes. People have to dance thiruvathira (kill mosquitoes with bare hands) for atleast couple of hours before they can get in.

done cataract surgery recently nice experience ,neat and clean OT and hospital area improved a lot compare to old times and received maximum amount for my insurance claim so i got best treatment in cashless mode

On the 22nd of July, 2023 I visited Susruta Eye Hospital in Kakkanad, Ernakulam and consulted Dr A K Nambiar. After 2 years of cataract surgery in Palakkad in both of my eyes, I started experiencing lack of clarity in my vision particularly while driving. Dr A K Nambiar after examining my eyes advised laser procedures which he performed the same day. I regained my full vision and could drive with confidence now. The Eye hospital is compactly designed equipped with modern equipments and supported by customer friendly staff. My good wishes to his endeavour.
