Went on weekend. Rush is there for sure. Be ready to allocate your one day dedicated for the eye checkup. There are lot of procedures lining up for the eye checkup. Everything is good, but I saw a nurse who is gargling and spitting water behind the drinking water outlet bucket in the first floor reception/waiting area. Can't expect this kind of hygiene related issues from a reputed hospital. I thought of drinking water but the moment I saw this, i simply changed my mind. By evening 6 o clock is my second eye checkup after dilation. But doctor was in hurry to wind-up the duty by that time and even though I was explaining my blurred vision also she is not ready to listen and only convincing me to accept their findings. I went there for the second openion. Even lenskart people are kind enough to check the results with precision angle and listening very patiently about our concerns. If you ask will I go for next time, my answer would be definitely no. But above is from my individual experience. May for some, they felt it's good. I came out from hospital by 7.30PM. Pictures are taken by that time.

My mother got her cataract surgery done here! The process was totally seamless. The nurses and the hospital staff were really kind and attentive. Then went to Madurai to Visit Aravind Eye Hospital, They did a very good immense checkup of my eyes and told I am eligible for the surgery, Was very happy with the Management of Aravind eye Hospitals was planning to do surgery with them, But What happen was, They only had Femto Lasik treatment which is a bit old method of correcting Refractions was bit disappointed, Then came to know about Relex Smile Surgery through a friend who had done his Surgery with Eye Foundation Coimbatore, Seeing all the reviews and youtube videos, Boldly Went there, Got Dr. Ramamurthy sir's appointment, Very professionally the whole team handled us, From basic eye checkup to the Final operation OT, Everyone was super friendly, The Surgery lasted for around 10-15 minutes, There was immense pain for 2-3 hours after sugery, But the Next day, The World was completely different without Spectacles, Was overwhelmingly happy, Thanking the Doc. Waiting for full recovery of my eyes, Highly recommended for Relex Smile Surgery (This Treatment is followed by top European Eye Hospitals)

NO VALUE FOR TIME... Took 3 hours to complete a routine eye checkup. We understand it takes time as multiple people are doing the tests. But we got delayed at each stage due to process inefficiency. Process was overall very lethargic and didn't seem like a routine or Swift process to handle the crowd. 1) Even after booking online appointment and providing all details with payment done , asked to fill paper registration form ( Only home address was additional in paper form ) 2) Sanitizing the eye checkup machine was not consistent , some nurses did it and nurses who did - did it sometimes and not after each patient. 3) Made to wait for more then a hour to meet senior doctor - only one doctor was available on Monday and some people barged in and no management from the nurses on the order. When someone asked why someone jumped the line , got a standard answer of "they were here before" - but all of us knew they came after us when nurses were administering drops for them. Doctors whom we met are good , but overall staffs needs process adherence and learn to value patient time.

Worst hospital ever. We did an operation for my mother. They make us wait almost 7 hours. It is not a government hospital to stand in queue. We pay for it for a smoother exp. The scheduled time is 11 am but they did the operation evening 5.30pm. Lotus hospital is best when comparing to this hospital.worst ever experience. The scheudle time should be modified according to the patients they have and should inform the patient previous day. Got irritated extremely.

1st week of October, I had undergone a Cataract surgery. I must convey my experience that the surgery was carried out so peaceful and systematically that i as a patient didn't felt panic . Right from the Reception staff to the last procedure of my surgery everything was really commendable. Kudos to Dr. Ramamurthi & Team !!

Excellent place to get your eyes taken care of. Reception staff are very cordial. In case you are senior citizens, do tell them and check for discounts. The fees they charge are very nominal and if there is a senior citizen applicable discount, then you pay slightly less. First level check happens in a few minutes. Please go towards the afternoon after 2 pm as there is a huge rush in the mornings. Also we noticed that Fridays are less crowded. They have excellent retina specialists for patients who need to consult with them. The waiting time here may take slightly more time as they have to dilate the eyes and then check, so be patient. The competent doctors are really working hard to serve us, so the least we as patients can do is to remain calm and be patient.

Despite this minor issue, my overall satisfaction with the surgery and the progress of my vision is positive. From the start to the receptionist to the end doctor, they were so polite and their guide was so clear. And their suggestions were absolutely fantastic. And also in specs choosing section is fabulous there were lots of varieties. Their suggestions are also too good to understand from our side. And we can take time to choose and their patience level is too good. And they were very trendy also. All the processes took only 2 hours.
