Nice pub in the Vanier area. If you're arriving by vehicle, be warned that you'll have to park somewhere in the surrounding area as there is construction in the area. Tried the Finnigans burger and it did not disappoint. Fries were decent and you also get coleslaw as a side dish.

I've been here before the transformation and loved it. People would come all the time, and there was never a dead time at the bar. Nowadays, it's kind of now hit and miss situation. Typically busiest on Fridays and Saturdays around 11pm. Great place if you want to sing karaoke. For the fact that it's dead nowadays I give it two stars out of 5. Haven't tried the food, but I'm willing to bet that it would be really good. Pool tables are in decent condition, with a Jukebox you can choose what you want to hear if your not into the karaoke or song choice.

It's a good dive bar, not much pretense, people are real, not fancy, comfortable if you're not the nervous type. Closing time can get scrappy. lol

Lots of fights, screaming and yelling - and that's just walking by the place nevermind going inside. I read some reviews on here, went to go check out the karaoke...huge scene going on out front as I arrived. Turned around and left.

Had a great early dinner here. Great place to have a good pint and a great burger. Fries were real and amazing. The burger had lots of good beef flavor and was not overwhelmed with the toppings. Would definitely come back.

This place is a run down hole in the wall. They have a female bartender/server with no bartending or serving license who sleeps with the married regulars and befriends the wives to get away with it. Can't miss her with those teeth either. They have nonstop fights and drugs there all the time. The food is bearable at best but way over priced. All around not a great place to be. Ladies! Do not bring your husbands around this place if this skinny little bartender with the initials B.B. is working.

Jay is the best barman, always friendly, goes the extra mile for hus customer. You can enjoy Killer wings, great beer, jukebox with thousands of songs and 1.50$ a pool game and all that comes with Jay's amazing customer service. I always have a good time when i go here. I absolutely love it here! We go all the time it's so much fun the bartenders are amazing! The one bartenders boyfriend is amazing as well. Such a great hangout spot for some beers.

Great neighborhood pub. Always makes you feel at home and with friends. Service is efficient and the food is typical pub fare, however the food is really delicious. A place where old friends meet old friends. Karaoke 3 nights a week. Dancing on Fridays. Take in a game, have a pint and let the good times roll.

I got beaten up by the evening bartender Jay. Just because I wanted to leave the bar on my own. He decided to follow me out to the parking lot where I had my vehicle parked. And he then avoided me from entering my car by throwing me to the ground causing me injuries to my back and head. Trying to be a cop. I would never take anyone there for a drink. Food sucks to. Kitchen is very dirty. Very Disgusting. I wouldn't even feed my dog thier food. This bar is also known for drug sales from certain customers even I witness myself myself a girl overdosing in their bathroom.

Great breakfast on the weekend. Superb Cesars. Friendly service. Looking forward to going back to the neighbourhood pub!

Hands down my favourite bar. So many good times! There is no other place like it. Lots of characters, but everyone is chill. Jay the bartender is a good time.

Only giving it 2 stars due to the fact the lady who works here is super kind and nice. It would of been 0 stars if it wasn't for her. So first off, me and my fiancé come here from time to time, but today will be the last. Not sur if it's a guy with little man syndrome, or a new bread of he shes but he is the absolute worse. First off were there for 20 minutes, no service. A customer tells him that we're waiting for him, he looks at us and shakes his head nodding it no. Then after 20 minutes, he comes near us to drop food off to the table next to us, then I asked him for service. He then proceeds to say we have to go to the bar and order, which is fine. But it's the attitude he had. Then refused to make us a coffee baileys. So bottom line do not come here if he's working, or should I say she? he's nothing but rude.

Went to the Pub on Sunday night for karaoke and the DJ Manon was great. Lots of fun. On the negative side, there was no waiter/waitress service and people were expected to go to the bar and get their own drinks. There were at least 20 people in attendance. At an average of $10.00 per drink per person one would expect to have a wait staff and a bartender. It would be better for the bar to have more service staff and potentially sell more drinks (read make more money). Maybe on Sundays we only get minimal staff!

I was there for karaoke. The KJ.and bartender are great and the vibe is good and there's a bunch of pool tables upstairs. The building itself and the neighbourhood are a bit rough around the edges but the people are great. Don't go down any surrounding alleys and you ll have a great time!

Didn't order any food, but very nice pool tables & there is also a punching machine at the top floor. If you are looking to go have a good time with some friends & chill, I recommend it. Was very fun & you can also go & sing karaoke! 🎤 😄🫡

I was taken here on a date with the warning that it was a little bit of a local dive bar. I found it to be homey with a bit of a country feel to it. In the lower level they had karaoke and areas for seating, and the upper level hosted a numerous amount of pool tables, a Juke box you could purchase song plays through, an arcade machine, and one of those machines that you hit a punching bag and see what your strength is. It was a fairly quiet night from what I was told. Reminded me somewhat of some of the places up north where I grew up, I definitely wouldn't mind visiting again.

First time there. Previous reviews said that the place was sort of Rundown and that it could get a little rowdy at times. I agree with the place being a little rundown but it was perfectly quiet when I was in there. This was an early Friday evening and there was a number of patrons but all is well. Service was good food and drinks very reasonably priced. Had their fish and chips and it was one of the best choice I've made in a long time. It was probably one of the best I've had in quite a while.

This was the first place I experienced in Ottawa,I like the outdoor space and the blend of vodka and cranberry but there was a little disturbance by a drunk lady which was a bit too much for me.
