Very nice place, good service, great ginger beer. There are two reasons that prevented me from giving the 5-star rate: 1. My bill was not accurate (they were changing more). I'm glad I always check. 2. We made a reservation for the Superbowl because we saw online there were going to be raffles, giveaways and more, but none of that happened. Besides, they put us far away from the TV despite having confirmed we were going there exclusively to watch the game.

My experience at craft was a bit of a mixed bag, the service and ambience is consistently quality, but the eggs Benny was lacklustre. The sauce wasn’t great, and the biscuit was overpowering. Despite this I know I’ll be back, and I’ll opt for the southwestern bowl instead.

Awesome place! It was so good that we went twice in one day! First for brunch: amazing food, tastes, quality and large portion. Serve was great and friendly. Second for dinner: again amazing food, kale ceasar salad was unique and wonderful. The burger was also really good. Huge selection of beers on tap and once again, great service! Highly recommend, and also will be back for more! May have found our new favourite brunch!

They have a great happy hour menu for food and drinks (3-4 dollars off reg prices for food) They were out of a lot of stuff by the time we got there but we still managed to find stuff to order. Chipotle burger was delicious! Nice two patty burger with generous amounts of toppings and sauces. Their Caesar salad was well dressed and yummy. My boyfriend got the carnival fries and enjoyed it very much! Super tasty with a nice spicy kick. We ordered a side of fries for the table from the happy hour menu and were pretty disappointed as the little brown bag came half full with a total of maybe 10-12 fries for $4. Restaurant was nice and clean. Very COVID friendly. Lots of seating available inside snd outside. Service was good. Staff were nice and friendly.

Edit 2023-04-23: General manager got back to me about making my friends and mine more memorable, and I have to say, quality of the food has improved since my last visit. 6oz sirloin steak was char grilled and seasoned very nicely. Baby back ribs meat were tender and seasoned perfectly. Waitress service was also very good, attentative, and often cleared finished plates. Old review: The beef burger was mediocre, and I don't think it was worth the $20 price tag. My friend also though the same for his chicken burger. However, I was very impressed with the craft beer selection. It seemed like they had plenty of domestic options. I would recommend CRAFT Beer Market more as a place to grab a beer with friends, than for the food.

Came here on a whim looking for pub food. We ordered the Cali Bowl (vegan), the AC Burger with a side of fries, and the Cheddar Bacon Burger with a side of Mac and cheese. We also had the Flying Monkeys Ale, Sprite, and Water. The burgers were delicious however we found that the burger buns got soggy. The fries were good and the Mac and cheese was a decent size for the price and had more of a Chipotle style to it - this was unexpected but still good, but it is something they should specifically mention as I was expecting just regular Mac and cheese. The Cali Bowl was good and optionally came with a side of protein, but I wish there had been more green beans. It was definitely odd to have rice with veggies but it is what it is- maybe adding mushrooms or tofu would be nice. Our server was nice however we originally ordered a different beer and then when she brought back the drinks she told us they were out. So she brought two samples and we chose from the samples, it was mentioned in another review but if you don't have a beer, then say that up front. We were also charged 50 cents more for subbing the fries for Mac and cheese, despite the menu saying 4.50 we were charged 5.00. Another review said the happy hour menu was 3 to 6 but it is actually 2 to 5. We unfortunately arrived after 5pm so missed it. Overall, we would come back again to try their pizza, steaks, tacos, and chicken dishes but the small errors that did happen were enough to knock a star.

Good place for tacos, Korean chicken, lettuce wrap, craft beer varieties and had passed the vibe check.. Great place to watch a game and enjoy your food with your group of friends! Have visited the place a couple of times and recommend it!

This was such a nice brunch experience. I went in for my avocado toast too quickly so I didn’t get the best photo. But it was such a perfect dish. The presentation was so cute and it just tasted so good! We checked in, got to the patio and just had a very pleasant experience all around. This is probably the nicest place in Ottawa to get a nice weekend brunch. Will be back again for sure!

Great location and they allow dogs but the food is basic at best. Way too much salt in our basic burgers. The cocktails were also not the best. It tasted watered down. It's too bad because this place used to be good.

As you can see, ordered the breaded chicken sliders - they come with maple syrups and a very not so spicy hot sauce, I don’t know if my spice limits are just higher than the average patron, but the sauce was more lemony than spicy. Everything tasted very delicious - portions were quite small for the price, $18 in the picture. The potato chips were a bit too oily and too crispy, would get something else in the future. Just your normal pub food - friendly service and good atmosphere, not really much room for improvement or price reduction especially that close to TD Place, it is probably quite the expensive real estate setting up a restaurant in that area. Give it a try pre-game or post game 🤙🏽

Definitely recommend coming here. We got the Korean fried chicken, fish tacos and Queen Bee pizza. Food was really good. If we’re being really picky, I feel like you should be able to pick what beers you get for the tasters because some of them were just not our cup of tea but otherwise a great experience!! Our waitress was super sweet and the food came pretty fast! 4.5/5

Great experience! Fun drinks and great server! I think her name was Joanna ? So friendly and knew so many beers made the experience wonderful. One thing though :/ the music was awful, I was trying to enjoy my meal but couldn’t because the music was so jarring !! I suggest a switch up indeed. Invest in Spotify it’ll do you wonders :))

Can always count on Craft to have a table, even on weekend nights. Cocktails are yummy and bartenders can make a lot of off-menu classics. Our server was busy but she was friendly and easy to reach. Our drinks and food came quickly despite how busy the bar was.

Decent enough food, portions a bit small for price but that's the norm lately. Service is very friendly and made this place stand out, accomodating of our dog and weird requests. Friendly place, good food, would come again.

I went to Craft last night and the food was fine as usual but the service was horrendous. We put our name on a waitlist and were told it would be a 25-30 minute wait. My group sat in the entrance waiting for over an hour and when we asked the hostess again she made us wait 20 more minutes - I understand it was a Saturday at supper hour but there is no reason in the world that guests should be made to wait 1.5 hours to be seated after being told that the wait would be less than 30 minutes. Our server was pleasant once seated but once again, the service was incredibly slow. The $60 bill was not worth being in the restaurant for over 3 hours just waiting around for service.

This is a takeout food review: In short it was over priced and underwhelming. We got a burger which was good but not great. The poutine was terrible. Can't even eat it since it is so overpowered with pepper. KFC has better chicken burgers... Just meh.

Although the drinks are average, the food is terrible. Myself and people I know have tried just about everything on the menu and can confidently say there is not one thing that is good. It’s not DISGUSTING but I would definitely not go again, especially with those prices.

Craft has in my opinion the best Happy Hour deals and Daily Specials in Ottawa. Since they re-vamped the food menu this year the quality of the food has been extremely consistent and always delicious! I highly recommend their pizzas which are half price on Mondays and have my favourite crust in Ottawa. Their chicken sliders are also amazing. Great beer, great food and a great space. Me and my boyfriend’s favourite for date night

Chicken wings were bland. The chicken in the sliders were overfried in old oil (yes, we can tell!) and gross. The ice cream sandwiches were as hard as crackers. Cheap fast food has better taste and quality than this. Everything was overpriced for the quality received. Very disappointing, I will not be ordering or going back to this place. The second star is because the food was still barely edible. 🤮

Absolutely wonderful beer menu! They were out of quite a few when I went, but the server was helpful and I enjoyed their suggestion based on what I was looking for. It was very busy, but their covid precautions seemed safe enough. Our server was very busy, but still very sweet and took the time when they had it to do the best job they could. We ordered the nachos, and it was a general thumbs down from the whole group for quality, dipping choices, and price. Hopefully if I end up hungry there again I will be pleasantly surprised with a different menu item.

Love Craft Beer Market. Great atmosphere and service. Amazing beer selection, great nachos, and they have happy hour windows. We also like the Cali bowl salad, poke bowl, beer can chicken, and burgers. The Mac and cheese and desserts are not great. Also found out that Pie Eyed Pizza on the food delivery apps comes from Craft Beer Market and those pizzas are absolutely horrible. I thought I had tried the pizza in the restaurant but now that I've tried it thru uber eats and saw how bad it was I'm second guessing myself. 5 stars for atmosphere, beer, and nachos. 4 star service and 0 stars for their pizza.

Visited this place for a casual evening drink. The rolling taps were really good. One of the better places for craft beer in Ottawa. We tried the Nashville cauliflower and chips with guacamole. The cauliflower appetizer lacked salt and was pretty bland.

Slow service during a not so busy time. Don’t get the ramen unless you want to over pay. It was tasty but salty items normally are good regardless.

  • 2/5 Joel V. 3 years ago on Google
Good beer but the food is too expensive for the quality. Had carnitas tacos, the meat was dry, stringy, and tasteless, and when I asked for hot sauce what they gave me could have been confused for balsamic vinaigrette, it was so vinegary and so not spicy. Pity, it has a nice atmos. Won't go back unless I hear they've changed their menu.

I came with two friends and we shared three appetizers: cauliflower, sliders and nachos. We had the coco mint drink and one friend had a beer, but we were informed afterwards that they were out. There was also a mistake with the sliders so we had to wait awhile for those. Food is pricy, but delicious and large portions. The nachos can easily fed 4 people. The sliders come with house made chips and they are definitely house made-I've never had chips like that before and they were so crunchy. Nothing worse than house made chips that taste like Lay's, which these didn't. Service was incredible! We had Mary and she was so friendly. My friends and I were eating outside when it suddenly started to rain. She helped us bring our food inside. Special mention to the general manager, Max! Holy smokes, it is rare to find a manager like him! Great personality and he cares about every customer. When we came inside from the rain, he asked if we were settled in and if we needed anything. I saw him talking to customers constantly. I'll come back here to eat again the next time I'm in the area.

This place was very busy but we got seated after waiting for 10 minutes. Service was a little slow and servers seemed over worked. Portion size of the dessert was good but the cocktails we ordered were not as good.

WoW! It’s was simply delicious and well made. The best burger I ever had... seriously! The Classic Burger 2.0 is what the Big Mac SHOULD have been. Added extra pickles and their house sauce, and OMG. The Bacon Cheddar Cheese was also a winner. Meat patties are juicy and crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned. We shared the Banana Split, which I haven’t had since I was a kid..and it was incredible (think that childhood fave, on steroids!) What a fantastic, layered dessert and fun for two to enjoy.

I've been here a couple of times over the years and never had any complaints. I love the variety of beers and am grateful to discover some new personal favourites each time--I recommend the samplers if you're open to trying to new beers! My table ordered the fish tacos, kung pao chicken, chili shrimp fettuccini, and sticky chicken ramen. All were delicious, but the fish tacos were probably the best ones I've had (yet) in Ottawa.

Went to the beer market after an event at the TD place. We ordered cocktails which might be an odd choice at a beer market but the cocktails were excellent! We perused the menu but weren’t too hungry, however, the lovely table beside us ordered nachos and parmesan fries and they looked incredible! I have no doubts the food is as high of a standard as the drinks. Our waiter was also super kind, high energy and very attentive. He had all his assigned tables smiling! We will definitely be going back!

We had a small private event here yesterday and had a great time. The staff were super accommodating to us coming in a bit early to decorate, and the food we pre-ordered was ready for us just as expected. Service for drinks was prompt. The servers we had were super personable, eager to help, and really lovely. My guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the servers were. Thanks so much to the team for making our event comfortable and fun!

Great beer selection but service is lacking. Usually have a good experience but was given a 20 minute wait list time frame and called back over an hour later and there were 6 groups still ahead of us. We could’ve gone to another restaurant instead but because we decided to wait it ended up ruining our entire evening. Hostess staff should be trained accordingly. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Will never go back here on principal. Craft IS NOT kid friendly. This is definitely not a place to take your family. I can only assume that they would prefer you didn’t bring your kids. What a joke. They have a kids menu. Items are 12.75. That includes NOTHING except the meal. A small cheeseburger and some fries. Juice was an extra 5.00!!!! They have one choice of dessert…gelato…for 6.50. So my kids meal came to almost $25.00. I’ve never seen a kids menu without at least a drink included. Don’t reward this place with your business. Even in these times that’s inexcusable. Go where they actually like children.

This is not my first time at craft beer market, but I should admit that their standards went up significantly. Their food was really good and they have an updated menu now. Food was good but the service was terrible. One of our friends never received their food after a long wait and in the end we were told the order didn’t go through. Felt like kind of standard pub fare at a lansdowne price point. Ordered online from the lansdowne lawn for the last warm night of this weird summer. Simple order process and straightforward online options. Pizza was okay but nothing to rave about. There were a lot of people taking in the evening sun having pizza on the lawn so they are doing something right, or have a great location. Our prosciutto arugula pizza was far too salty on the crust which was disappointing. The kids grilled cheese was great and done far better than most. Packaging was good. Covid-19 protocols were well observed and the staff were friendly on pick up. Not somewhere you'd rush back to given the other options available down there.

Very nice place but be careful if you park your on the side street where pizza pizza is. The parking sign says 7am to 11pm Sunday to Saturday. It's the city of Ottawa trap because show me anywhere else in the city where parking is 1 hour for 7am to 11pm. It's usually 7am to 7 pm. Shame on the city for fooling their citizens who go out to support small business at Lansdowne. It's a scam parking rules to cheat the people. So Mr mayor why would people want to go out and enjoy and spend money if there is too many parking limits on parking. I wonder did the city of Ottawa learn this new trick from Boston where they found out if they hired more parking control they could bring 40 million a year in tickets instead of 4 million. Also watch out for the scam in Ottawa university area where the fire hydrant is on the inside property about 15 ft from the sidewalk instead of on beside the sidewalk so when you park there you don't see it and they ticket you gimme a break

This place is in the market so expect notably higher prices than average. A $15 pound of wings was disappointing; they were properly cooked but bland (in spite of being described as hot) and had only a handful of second-rate vegetable sticks; no sauce on them nor with them. Drink prices were typical, service was adequate.

They claim to be allergy friendly but only informed me tonight that the fries are not safe for cileacs even tho we had ordered then several times with an allergy warning that they were for someone with cileacs disease. They already fed them to my daughter several without telling us that they were not allergy friendly. And they also never label the allergy dish when delivering it.

Beyond 5*, besides the great selection on food and drinks that also tastes great. The extra 6th ⭐ goes to the staff of the restaurant. Delicious food and extensive drink menu. Nice atmosphere and Covid protocols in place. Menus printed on paper (bring your glasses the print is tiny), spaced tables, sign-in and sanitizing practices, mask wearing, etc. Server was friendly but overwhelmed by our group size (12) so modification were missed and a meal not punched in to the kitchen. GM was great and got things sorted quickly. I'm sure service would have been better with a smaller group. The food, location, and drinks will have me back with my partner in future.

At first we weren't impressed with the vegan options and mentioned it to (I'm assuming the manager) and he suggested the cauliflower wing and offered them for us to try for free. They genuinely are the best cauliflower wings I've had! They are breaded so nicely and have a great taste (dip isn't vegan though). I also suggest the Sonnen Hill pollen beer! Also given as a compliment. Great experience and attention shown to guests.

Nice place, large patio area, great selection of beers. One of thing I've never seen before: a sampler of 6 beers available on the menu, but you can't choose the beer?!? Not even one. And if you want a single beer, no pints. They're served as 400 ml.

Worst service ever encountered in a restaurant, anywhere. Treated an out of town guest to dinner. We waited 15 mins to place a drink order so we were ready to put in our full order when the waitress came. First they bring an appetizer with no side plates, napkins or utensils. We had to gain her attention to ask for them and it was like we’d asked for a brick of gold. Fast forward to more than 1.5 hrs later and the waitress, when once again asked about our meals, says “you ordered food?”. I guess she thought I was joking the first time I asked. She finds the order in her notebook and she now puts the order in and says she’ll speak to the manager to discount the meals. About 2.5 hrs from the time we arrived to having our meals. They threw in an appetizer and 1 glass of wine. Three + hours of my life I can’t get back. Won’t make this mistake again, in that restaurant, ever. Food was good once it came but terrible customer service!
