As much as I want to give a positive review, this place did not give me a pleasant experience. Perhaps I entered the location too late, server were rushing me to order when it’s still ~35min until last call. Pizza looked so bad, even frozen pizza looks better than that. Pepper were still attached and olives were grouped up together like the chef is in a rush to get off work. Beers are also overpriced compare to other pub in the same plaza.

Ordered the Briezely the Best burger combo and the meat wasn’t amazing, but it was good. However, the combination of the toppings on the burger along with the bread made it a great choice. The fries are exactly how I like them and I would 100% go back again when I’m in the area.

Laid back and chill bar for having some wine and appetizers. Stay away if there's a Redblacks game though, place turns into a pub with drunk fans standing around drinking beer, definitely ruins the atmosphere. I guess it's good for business but they really need to not let people crowd into the place unless they have a table/seat at the bar.

The restaurant and overall feel is great. Good atmosphere and lighting. The menu is limited but seems to have a nice variety of food. I got the spinach dip shareable to start and it was great. The best thing I ate that night. Our table also got the Greek pizza, Nashville Hot Sandwich and the Crate Club. These mains were bland and tasteless. I would not recommend any of them. I wouldn’t go here again for a main course meal.

Visited during lunch with my family and had a wonderful time. Service was super quick and the food was so tasty and filling! The pizza was excellent and the starter options are plentiful! Definitely recommend calling to make reservations during the evening as it tends to get busy, or arrive much earlier than any shows or events you have to go to at Landsdowne!

Coleslaw on the fish and chips was rotten and our pizza literally had a plastic BREAD CLIP in the crust. Absolutely horrified. The manager and server were nice about it, but regardless, never coming here again.

Visited on a Sunday night with 3 people. The place is well decorated with bright lighting. Waitress was very friendly and checked on our table mutiple times. However the menu was extremely overpriced for the quality of food. Bill was $100, no alcohol, no appetizers. Chicken tenders and hot sandwiches were dry as hell. Also upgrading your fries to onion rings or sweet potatoes is a total rip off. Definitely in no hurry to come back as there are lots of better options out there.

Great Nashville hot chicken. Also one of the best Mac and cheese I’ve had! They have a skillet cookie for dessert, also nuts. The only thing I’d say is dim the lights a little.

We recently went to this restaurant for pizza, of course, and ended up ordering one each, which is a bit much, but they were quite delicious none-the-less. We are vegetarian and would have appreciated a bit more non-meat variety on the menu but we did have the vegetarian: Not your Grandmas Garden and: Mario's Shopping Kart, where we substituted the shaved Prosciutto with Eggplant. The pizzas were tasty and could have easily have done for two meals but we were hungry. If anything, they could have been just a bit better cooked. The one issue we had and the reason that Crust & Crate did not score better was with the waiter standing over us and talking for quite a while, which was fine, and although he was wearing a mask, he should have kept a better distance due to his boisterous and expressive nature and considering that we had already removed our masks to eat. Servers must be careful to be overly cautious during this second wave of covid. They are in constant contact with a demographic that is most affected during the second wave. That said, we will definitely be back.

Surprisingly delicious food and decent service considering there were only 3 staff members working, including the manager. With absolutely no lineup, we were a bit hesitant and set our expectations lower as all of the other restos at Lansdowne were anywhere from a 45 min to 2.5 hr wait. We were very pleasantly surprised. The food came quickly and was perfect temperature and seasoned to almost perfection. The server was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Even with his hands full, he was sure to give us his attention. Definitely visiting again!

Pizza’s taste fresh and cooked perfectly!! We ordered the Pizza Pollo Verde & South Of The Border!! Menu has lots of good options to choose from! It’s a fun restaurant for family and friends, they also have a nice outdoor patio!

Food was tasty, varied selection of fast fired pizzas mostly. Breakfast pizza was unique. decor is clean and nicely presented. The server was not attentive at all. Slow to take the order, had to ask another server to find her so we could have water, and the wait for the bill was terrible. Understandable had it been a busy lunchtime but there were only a handful of patrons. I'd still give them another chance in case it was an off day.

Mmm that was some good grub. I came to lansdowne to see a movie, only to discover that the theater is still limited in the days it's operating, so instead I decided to finally check out Crust and Crate. I'm glad I did - not only did I fulfill one of my desires to seek out new memories before I move to Montreal in a week, but the staff were kind enough to allow me to charge my laptop while eating ❤ I enjoyed the outside deck for the first quarter of my experience until the risk of thunderstorms and a tornado warning gave way to my finding a window seat inside. I got to watch the rain shower down while drinking a fabulous lime mojito (not one to drink alcohol but I made an exception just this one time). I ordered the pomme de terre pizza which I adored, both in presentation and taste!! Potatoes, mushrooms and cheese, with the side option of sauce provided by my awesome server. Yummm. All in all a fantastic experience and one I'm glad to talk about and share here. Funny enough I've been in writing mode and so this review feels much more like an ad since it's so positive but I promise I'm just riding off the high of having a fantastic day yesterday, caped off by eating out at the Crust & Crate 😁❤🔥

I usually love this restaurant, today we sat on the patio, no social tracing question asked. We ordered drinks and waited for our pizzas, before they came the tables on both sides of ours were seated with about 2 feet between us and the other customers. We chose to leave after waiting 30 minutes for our food... I was surprised and very disappointed that social distancing seems optional here.

Good food, i had the korean bites and the Nashville hot chicken, only thing id say is the chicken sandwich i had had no heat to it at all but was still totally delicious. Great service as well especially during the whole covid outbreak would recomend updating your qr reader as its required to access the menu. I will be back!

The pizza was a perfect size and the patio was open!

Nice looking place, industrial look. Lots of pizzas options and ther crust is delicious. Upstairs sitting areas is known to be very warm due to ther pizza oven being beneath you in ther kitchen.

I came here because of the hype, but left a little disappointed. Maybe don't get the same pizza as me (pictured below). Perhaps I will go again to give them another chance and order a more popular pizza.

We were in town for the U Sports Basketball Championship and our team has a numerous parents, alumni, family form out of town. C&C treated us with OPEN ARMS from the first night. Consecutively opening up and entire section for us the following day. At the drop of a hat they set up for us for 2 consecutive afternoons, then AFTER the games as well. The service was nothing less than genuine, friendly and top service. Coming in from out of town and having that kind of warm welcome speaks volumes about Ottawa hospitality and The Crust & Crate. The service was good, however, the food was awful. I ordered the Hulk burger, and the amount of char on that burger overpowered any other flavour present. I'm usually a fan of char, but that burger had an unreasonable amount. My girlfriend ordered wings, and they were absolutely sub-par: barely any meat, absolutely DROWNED in (albeit decent) sauce, and numbered about 8 for $15. Additionally, the Coke I received was never refilled, and even if it was, it tasted nothing like it is supposed to. Certainly not worth $2.75 for a 16-oz glass of gross Coke. The best part of the meal were the Tater Tots, which obviously are not produced by the restaurant.

Went for the first time, and must say it was just ok. Maybe they are known for their wine list alone? But the food was not great especially for the price. I ordered the steak and frits... not again. I dont enjoy skinny fries! And the seasoning of the steak was not dynamic. I am not much of a drinker but my husband is, so maybe that's why I did not enjoy it.

Best veggie burger!

One of the most Celiac friendly restaurants I've been to. That staff was amazing, being super tolerant and accommodating with my 9yr old niece and her friend. Almost the entire menu can be done gluten free. The fries have their own fryer, and gluten free bun for their amazing bacon cheeseburger. Not the beat place to bring children, as the kids menu is lacking, but as a wine bar that us to be expected. I cant recomend this place enough. Super easy bus ride from downtown ottawa ( take the #6 or #7).

Just got into Ottawa and found this gem of pub with legendary Vegetarian Burgers 🍔

Went here last night for a couple glasses of wine with a friend. We both live in the neighbourhood. The waitress was so rude and stuck up. Barely acknowledged us and when we ordered wine she basically just threw it at us without a word. At the end of the night I had to get up and go to the bar to ask for the bill. The atmosphere and place is great but the staff is not friendly at all. I recommend to the owner to find some friendlier staff as this totally ruined our experience.

Love this place! The pizza is really good and they have unique things. I just tried the Mario's Shopping Cart with had a mix of prosciutto and pear among other things. They also don't have as long as a wait as the other places in Lansdowne

outdoor patio is really nice for sitting, with a fire for cold nights we ordered the trash can nachos and the hulk burger, toppings on the burger were good! we were disappointed in the trash can nachos, way too expensive for such a small quantity if you guys want to charge $23 for that, then at least give 3X more. Jack Astors charges 17 and gives way more than you guys

Pretty good pizza here. The crust is delicious. We ordered the chicken bacon sweet onion pizza with a white Alfredo sauce and cheese. Overall the pizza was just a little bland, not much contrast in flavor. Can't taste the bacon, and too oily. Still pretty good as the pizza does taste fresh and is served hot. Still looking for my favorite pizza place though :)

It was my second time here and I have to say the first time was way better. We were a group of about 7 people. As people were arriving the server kept asking us this everyone Over and over again. The service felt rushed. The restaurant was not busy and it felt as if they were in a hurry to serve us and get us out the door. The pizza was not bad. Had the south of the border pizza. It was a little burnt on the bottom though…

Good service, good ambiance. Our meal was delicious and we didn’t have to wait a long time. We had one of the only lower seats - I’d say something to improve is offering more regular height tables which are more comfortable. Otherwise great.

Mediocre at best! Our server was pleasant and attentive. The food arrived quickly considering how busy they were…..but we should have ordered the pizza!!!! Perhaps it may have had more flavour and love put into the entrées than the chicken Parmesan and the “oh so trendy Nashville chicken sandwich” that most box store restaurants are preparing! Both meals were cooked very well and reasonably priced, and the yam fries were delicious and a great portion for $7. However the mains were definitely lacking in the flavour and creative department, definitely not a chef issue but owner issue. We will return and try the pizza!

What a place!!! Definately worth a visit, or more.... The staff are realy nice and they are fast. More, they know their sh#$+ 🤭. English or french, not a problem for them. About the food... The "tower nachos" are just incredibles. There is saussage slices in it, just yummy!The pizzas taste like heaven. What are you waiting for? For info: happy hour is from 2pm to 5pm. 😉 BTW: I'm a real customer.

Came in for a late dinner. The food is delicious, especially the pizza. All freshly made and we could see the stone oven from our seat! I only docked a star for slow service but that was because the server was a friendly chatter so would take longer at each table (including ours). We also experienced some live drama between the employees having a bit of a heated argument between themselves… but no complains, who doesn’t like watching a bit of drama?! 😅 Will certainly be back for the pizza, especially during happy hour!

It was alright. My wife and I went for our anniversary as our daughter bought us gift cards for Christmas. The spinach dip was a little watery, the cauliflower wings, tasted alright, but they also tasted like they were frozen and not fresh. The pizza is was good but nothing we’d go back again soon for. They also don’t validate parking which cost us $12.

I’ve been to Crust & Crate for Mother’s Day lunch! Food was good! We ordered a burger, the fish and chips, a salad with added shrimps, the poutine and Korean chicken wings. Highlight for the poutine, it was really good! However, the food took forever to arrive, I had to ask the waitress to check on our food. I believe they forgot about us because the poutine was basically cold. They also forgot the bring forks and knives! Which was fine, but somehow annoying! Over all it’s a 3 stars! Food was good so I still recommend and wish you a better luck with the service!

We came on Thursday for their 2 pizzas for $35! These days when a dinner out cost $60+ for two people this was a really nice deal for a night out. The pizzas were great & the toppings combinations were fun! We got a meat one - leaning tower, and a more vegetable based one with chicken. I personally like the meat one more.

I have nothing but good things to say about Curst & Crate. Every year our Company hosts a Christmas party for our Clients at Crust and Crate and the service is always amazing. Quinton is my point of contract when organizing the events and he has been so accommodating and flexible. Great location, great service, great atmosphere and great food! :)

We are always pleased with the service, food and atmosphere when eating here. The pizzas are always quite flavorful and we always leave feeling full! We made a reservation in advance to eat after the Red blacks game and had no issue...our table was ready as soon as we arrived post-game.
