As I live in downtown Ottawa, I have been here several times in the past couple years. Over my various visits, I have sampled many of their plates (quesadillas, fish and chips, black bean burger) and enjoyed my food. Good selection of beers as well.

Atrocious service! Went for dinner early evening and the place was very quiet. Despite this we were left waiting at table for 15 mins without anyone coming to take a drink or food order. Servers were all at bar chatting and not paying attention to customers at all. This used to be our great local neighborhood pub but with the latest change of owners this sort of experience is common here. We eventually walked out and went to the much more friendly Irene's Pub further along Bank Street. Unless the owners work hard to change things around this place will struggle to survive given the many other better options available in the Glebe/Lansdowne area.

The menu offers traditional pub dishes like burgers and chips, salads and beers. I tried the pasta with pesto and was very disappointed. The quality was very poor. On the other hand, the goat cheese salad of my wife was okay. The service was okay. The atmosphere nothing special - not much fun going on on that evening. There are other better pubs in Ottawa in my opinion - I wouldn't recommend this one.

Always good service and friendly staff at middle of glèbe. Usually come here in the evenings so abundance of free street parkings after 5:30 pm. The space is divided into 2 sections…one with bar and an event stage and the other side darts and more quiet section. Both sections are in full view as you walk in….. so if you want a quieter environment, left side is what you want to avoid the lousy crowd at the bar or event attendees. one interesting dish is scotch eggs…not many pubs serve them and it is a must try. ( scotch egg is soft boiled egg wrapped on sausage and coated in breadcrumb). Must try.

Really great bar in a central part of the Glebe. They have a wide selection of beers and other cocktails to choose from (the espresso martini tastes amazing), as well as solid food options. The price is a little higher than other nearby options but overall the place has a great vibe that the additional costs are warranted. It was quite busy when I went but it seemed like a one-off and I imagine the place isn’t too crowded on most days. Shoutout to Spencer for the phenomenal service when I went!

Super chill local, haven't had a chance to try the food here yet, but service is great, really nice offering of craft beers and major breweries. Reasonable prices, chill atmosphere. Sports are also usually on here if it's a game night, which I care not for, and have no choice but to tolerate and speak loudly to whoever I'm there with..

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I had been to this bar a couple of times in the past but today took shelter on a rainy evening at this cozy bar's patio. The waitress was incredibly friendly, offering water while I waited for the rain to stop. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The experience was delightful, and I'll definitely be back! 🍻😊☔️

Great little spot and I love how they serve the quart 50 Labatt in the traditional small glasses. The foods decent but nothing to write home about and the prices are about average for the Glebe area. What they have going for them is the fact that their drink list is solid.

Really disappointed in the unwelcoming owner when I tried to negotiate a rate for our group of 8 to 15 who meet weekly year round for dinner and drinks. Will be taking our business elsewhere. I stress that the problem I had was NOT because of the lack of discount but rather the attitude and abruptness of the owner.

The location is excellent, as is the food and service. It is a great location to visit before or after any event at Lansdowne. We frequent it to watch soccer, as it's the home pub of the Capital City Supporters Group and also for many Arsenal fans. The Open Mic and Trivia nights are also lively and fun. Come join us before the next Atletico Ottawa game and check it out!

Best place in the city to enjoy a pint and watch some Soccer! I always try to head here Atlético Ottawa away games, national team games, and the occasional Arsenal game too given the awesome atmosphere. Food is also solid, with the breaded hot wings being a favourite and the scotch egg being a special treat. Great spot to enjoy some football!

Cool place! Great food there, we sat in a cute little booth in the corner which was cool. A cozy but spacious interior with great hosts! Had a good time here with family!

The food was atrocious. Had breakfast. Partners sandwich was nearly inedible and her portion of potatoes negligible. My Benedict was gross, eggs overpoached. Fine place for drinks, but food was a bad experience. When it was Ps and Qs the food was much better, but then again the owner at that time did a lot of the cooking and prided himself on it.

I was dragged here by some co-workers who knew the server from another pub. I was hungry, so I just ordered a burger. It caught me by surprise as it was quite excellent. The fries were really good as well. And yes, the server was pretty okay as well! Sorry, I forget your name...Shannon? Sharon? I'm probably way off. We'll be back and I look forward to exploring the food options.

I generally like this place. A good bar with decent prices. One server we had was clearly not on the ball. Didn't have much idea as to who ordered what when it came to paying. Spilled multiple drinks. Free darts though. They also show Atlético Ottawa games so that's a very nice benefit.

They have good shows. The place is quite small but they are doing their best to make it cozy. Food is okay. Overall a normal typical bar and the usual nothing special

Quaint, cozy pub with a good variety of food on their menu. Ironically the selection of beer is limited as compared to food options. Trivia night is a blast - check it out on a Monday! Recommended.

First bit of sunshine patio was open immediately even in February. Waitress/bartender was thoughtful and on the ball. Was everywhere all at once and she did a great job keeping everyone looked after.

I'm overjoyed that this pub has reopened. I felt as if I was back in London England. This ranks high on my list similar to the pubs I've been in the city famous for pubs. Who can question an enjoyable atmosphere and great food. Kudos to the owner and his staff.

Great place to catch an Arsenal game. Come early because it can get packed. When the team is playing well- this place is buzzing! Staff does an excellent job during busy games.

Food was great! Service was horrible. Took forever to order. The the waitress never came back to see if the food was good and she never brought my drink. Had to wave her down just to pay.

Fry strength is very important in a poutine like this as a good scaffolding for such premium ingredients and Gcp shoestring fries do NOT dissapoint. All I can say is WOW! This is my new favorite place to go and I definitely reccomend coming by next time you’re in the glebe. If not for the Gcp poutine, at least for the atmosphere. Everyone seems so friendly and welcoming. It’s like I’ve known everyone for years. What an experience!!

It’s been a tough season for the REDBLACKS season. After the last home game, walked up Bank Street to the Glebe Central Pub. Admittedly, it’s still strange to see a packed restaurant, but also great to see friends and fans gather post-game. The game day menu, while limited, made sure it had something to fill the hunger void. All the safety protocols were in place (vaccination check, etc). The service was attentive and quick, especially considering the place was hoping. I’m looking forward to next season, but in the meantime, I’ll be visiting here again.

This pub organizes a bus to senators games that is completely disorganized. Bus barely made it before puck drop. Bus drops off at a different place than after the game and makes no effort to communicate where to find it post game. Neither the bar nor the bus driver made any effort to clarify specifics. Bus left way before the stated 20mins post game and left us at the CTC. A complete disorganized rip off. Don't bother providing a service if you're going to put this little effort into it.

This place has a nice little patio along Bank St in the Glebe. We always stop in for breakfast or brunch and the Easy is a perfectly reasonable portion or you can go all out with heartier options. The staff is very kind and attentive and we always enjoy our time there.

Great place to hangout and watch the game. Decent food and cocktails. The breakfast sandwich on a homemade english muffin is one of my favourite things to order. Owner and staff are really friendly and attentive, too. I’ve only once had to wait over an hour for my meal. Lesson learned - it’s a good idea to call in advance if you’re planning to do an event there, to make sure that they are adequately staffed.

Great little neighbourhood pub that's been here forever, but this incarnation is the best yet. I really enjoyed the house burger, and I can't wait to come back and try some of their other offerings. Delicious menu, lots of choice at the bar, and a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

Great selection of local beers and a rotating tap. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh and delicious - I've yet to order a dish I didn't enjoy. There isn't a very large patio section but you can sit at high chairs and watch the world go by.

Was omw to another pub before their special menu written outside made me want to give it a try, and they didn’t disappoint me. Everything tastes AMAZING. Chicken corn chowder, lamb shank, fried chicken sandwich and my fav Mill Street. All the meals are off the special menu. Meats are tender and flavourful. Soup is great. It’s a shame that these are all rotating dish! I’ll definitely come again for next round of special menu <3

I came here twice on my short trip to Ottowa. Its charming and the outdoor covid-friendly eating areas were nice. The pub food was as pub food should be! Good portions and appropriately greasy. Their cocktail menu and hard liquor selection didn't seem extensive but I wont hold it against them. The second time we back it was for pitchers and it was a great time. Service was good both times.

Our waitress Leslie was super friendly with great customer service skills. The ambience is relaxed, a great place for social calls or happy hour! Their daily craft beer special was a great chance to try something new (WhprSnpr I think) and appropriate social distancing is maintained. Will be back again soon!

First time visitor. Food great. Nachos are amazing and breaded wings! I order a Greek salad but never realized it did not have any lettuce. Which a regular Greek salad as far as I know come with it. Anyhow that was my surprised seemed overpriced for just eating tomato, cucumber and onions. Overall great service and good food!

Suggest going here for drinks only, mainly beer as the Caesar ordered was watery and bitter. Ordered 5 meals, all were very sad even a modest buffalo chicken wrap. It seemed as if the chicken strips were microwaved. We went in with optimism as the atmosphere is cozy and inviting with friendly staff. Disappointing ultimately. Would not recommend other than for a beer, sorry.
