Great location on Sparks st. Service was fantastic. Kiki is on top of her game with making sure you are happy and satisfied with both food and service. We started with pickled fries. Very tasty, 12 per order, and has a great dipping sauce on the side. I had the cabbage rolls. Homemade and delicious, and with 3 per order plus side salad, there is lots of food for another meal. Partner had 1 piece fish and chips dinner. Fish was good and fries were very tasty. Everything was fresh tasting, service was A1, and atmosphere was pleasant. Definitely a place to return to.

As another reviewer mentioned, our waitress on Sunday evening appeared to be quite intoxicated... My partner and I ordered a pitcher and left without trying the food because our experience was so bad. The waitress was walking around almost dazed and unaware of the patrons around her. She was slurring and mumbling things to us and to other tables without looking at us and walked away mid sentence multiple times. I felt awful for the table across from us, as she stood there for a while chatting with them and swaying back and forth with her chest in one guy’s face, completely unaware of her surroundings and social cues as the patrons were visibly uncomfortable. When they left, she came over and sat down at the table beside us for a minute and told everyone she was tired. Our table and two others had to get up and wait at the podium outside to pay. No servers were present for a while - thankfully we aren’t the type to dine and leave. When we finally paid, she seemed almost incoherent and it took a few tries to get her to focus and initiate the pin pad. She complained to us several times about what a long day it was, which I get, but it’s honestly no excuse to be that unprofessional and behave inappropriately. The whole experience left a really bad impression and we likely won’t be returning. I spoke to people at my office about it afterwards and a colleague had a similar experience the day prior.

Went there for dinner on a quiet Sunday evening. We LOVED it! The kids had chicken tenders and mac and cheese w/bacon, they wolfed it down... fries are great. The popper burger was also really good. The highlight was the jerk chicken w/fried rice cakes! The place is in a basement with booths and lounge areas - such a cool vibe.

Great spot for happy hour specials before 6pm. Not busy, it's the basement but it's done up really well, food was fast and good as was service. It was actually affordable for after work drinks a rarety these days.

Thank you so much for letting us sit on your patio with 2 great danes and a cane corso. The waitress was amazing. So patient with us.

COFFEE ALERT!! This great spot @ 202 Sparks St just opened up a new fresh brewed daily coffee shop. Start your day off right with the delightful Barista's serving you the best coffee on Sparks and a breakfast wrap or baked item made fresh daily from a scratch kitchen. BTW the art on the walls you have to check out as well! This one owner establishment excels for customer satisfaction, go say Hi you won't be disappointed. Downstairs/Patio: Excellent spot to stop in during Winterlude on Sparks Street for a great bowl of homemade Mushroom soup! BTW the tasty burgers also hit the spot...Stay warm people :-) Excellent size patio, appetizing menu for all, dining inside finally, staff friendly like family, kitchen is inside downstairs which gives the servers a challenge that they manage well, the food is prepared fresh! Mac & Cheese with jalapeno and bacon to die for - thanks for recommendation from our server Dianne! 😎 BTW drinks/beer specials are also available. Stellar Sparks St patio to visit...must come back AAA+

Happened upon this place on Canada Day. Walked right in, got drinks and food immediately despite the crowds. Food was awesome, service was even better. If I could give more stars I would.

We were a party of four. After more than 90 minutes waiting for our food, we didn’t even get the appetizers. We decided to cancel the food and leave. There were no apologies or even an attempt by staff to make it right. Nothing. We paid for our drinks, gave more than the deserved tip and left. Never had this happen to us before. Avoid this place.

Great underground bar on Sparks! The selection of beer and wine is not bad and I like how they have a lounge style setup with leather couches. Also serve food if you're feeling hungry.

We got the fish and chips and the shrimp fritters. The food was typical pub fare and was decent, just portion size was a bit small for the price point - it was mostly fries 😂. The inside space is quite nice. Definitely seems like a hang out spot for office workers. We did have to wait a bit for the food to come out.

Great space for kids. My kids loved the blocks and coloring book provided. The food was decent. Their GF wraps tasted good. Staff were friendly and attentive. We deeply appreciated their willingness to turn off the tv so my eldest would eat. It's not easy with a kid on the spectrum 💙. This place made it much easier. Big thank you to the staff.

Simply put, The Office is the best. I come here multiple times a week. Owners are awesome and the service is amazing. Kiki, my regular server, is the best, and I look forward to seeing her every time I come. My friends and I love The Office, and you will too.

Nice spot for some drinks and food. The staff was extremely friendly, and the whole place was clean and well maintained. Felt like it needed a bit more decor? Almost like it was halfway in the themed bar idea. Despite that, good spot to check out.

Cool spot with a fun atmosphere. Food was good - we tried the French onion soup, simple grilled cheese, and the beef dip. Nice portions good prices. The hot apple cider was really nice. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely go back.

I had the sweet potato puffs, or named something along those lines. They were small, oily, soggy, undercooked, sitting on three shriveled pieces of mixed greens... for $17. The server was working her butt off, but it doesn't make up for terrible food.

I have quite recently gone and discovered this place, which is " The Resto Pub " coffee breakdown, situated at a few minutes of walking from the intersection of Sparks and Bank streets(how convenient it is for one who spends most of his week and/or weekend time in the downtown area, especially if you are a day person, for it opens as early as 6:30 and closes at 3 in the afternoon!). Its great newness(it has been opened for a few weeks!), its considerable proximity with my workplace(it is situated literally next to my workplace’s door!), the most amusing picturenesqueness of its inner walls(if you adore the comics, and sometimes feel quite nostalgic about it as well as about its great comicality, you will be a great deal amused by the drawings on its walls, especially if you ever were into “ The Office “ famous TV series or merely adore any productions or novels regarding the comicality, which bureaucrats are capable of displaying!), not to mention its remarkable cleanliness! On entering it, a few mornings ago, I was amazed at the ineffably warm grace of her early morning server by name Maeve. Maeve displayed an ineffably warm smile, akin to those of those air stewardesses, who offer you a service comparable in its gracefulness to their attractiveness. Besides, Maeve has splendid taste, which is observable not only in her clothing style(she even manages to simultaneously pay tribute both to her Sudbury and Irish origins! Fancy how much cleverness and taste she is possessed of! Furthermore, there is a good topic of conversation if you are fond of the culture of Ireland, of which Maeve is proud!), but also in her very own glasses’ colour and style, which denote impeccable taste and like source or sources of inspiration! On the other part, Maeve is also capable of most charming conversation on diverse topics(our origins, work schedules, work careers, studies, and even entertainment and the world of humour! See how much she is capable of interesting, charming conversations!) and can extend her natural fondness for people and customer service to personal confessions. Have you ever heard of that expression stating that people are “ easy to fall for “ ? Well, such is her case, whether one falls for her as a friend or something still more solid! To return to this coffee, which, incidentally, is an extension to « The Office Resto Pub “, I must say that I have also adored the Tiramisu Latte, which is a coffee containing a good deal of chocolate and some expresso, as well as the Ginger Snap cookie. They had both been displayed on the shopfront as specials of the day, and I must say that this shopfront was seductive in the highest degree(you must also discover how awesome is this store's storefront, I assure you!) : colours so matching and breathing so much gaiety, so much festivity(Kelly Green, Scarlet Red, and Royal Blue!), and use of words that also agreeably attract attention such as " NEW " and " NOTEWORTHY ", for example. As regards prices, you cannot help but be agreeably surprised : for $6.75, for instance, one is able not only to buy this Tiramisu Latte($4.75), but also this cookie, which I had accompanied with ($1.25 for this Ginger Snap), and the HST amounts to an unsignificant $ 0.75, which I cannot yet believe, seeing only how clean, new, and artistic the place is, not to mention Maeve's ineffably gracious and equally professional service! Imagine all! Another remarquable point is Maeve's said work schedule : she is preparing her last exam whilst performing and early day shift(she completes it at 1:00 pm), which is most courageous, considering this examen bears upon notions of Philosophy. Thus then, if you are, just like myself, I must confess, admirative of students who arrive at perfectly conciliating studies with work, and would like to express your admiration and support to these, going and discovering this coffee shop, especially at day-time on week days, may be a propitious occasion for you to do all this!

The food portions were very very small for the price. And the food wasn't even that good. (I love a French onion soup, but this was nearly the worst I've ever had.) We had ordered a couple of warm apple ciders which were actually really good, but sadly missed the exorbitant price of them until the bill came and my jaw literally dropped. So barely any food and two small drinks was over $70. Ouch! Never again. The subterranean environment and hard and spartan decor left a lot to be desired

It was our server's second day, and I have full patience for that. I've trained people (not for restaurants) and I know how difficult it can be to pick everything up. I ordered the mac & cheese and added ground beef, and when she was confirming our order, she left out the ground beef, so I reminded her. My food arrived without the ground beef. The manager came over and said I could either get some ground beef on the side, or she could charge me without the ground beef add-on, and give me a discount. She really should've offered to remake my food the way I ordered it, but I chose the second option. The bill arrived without the discount on it. I didn't bother bringing it up and paid the whole amount. The food was good, but the portion was very small for $17. I won't be back.

Food's very good and has a good publike ambiance. Service is a bit slow, but it's become my goto for the occasional lunch with work colleagues.

Best place to be. The food can't be beat, and the cocktail menu has something for everyone. Great place to bring your friends, family, and kids. I also love that they are dog friendly on their patio! Keep up the great work!

Patio was accessible by wheelchair plenty of room to move around but inside of the restaurant wasn't and there was no wheelchair accessible washroom food was horrible we had calamari which was so small in portion and size we had deep fried pickles which were the thinnest slices of pickles and really just turned into rubber covered in batter we also ordered two pizzas the dough was most likely came from Frozen as it wasn't thoroughly cooked through would not return to this restaurant because of the poor quality food also because of the lack of accessibility. Staff was friendly, treated my service dog with water and a milk bone.

What a great place. Love there Happy Hour. The wings are moist, delicious and cooked to perfection. $6 pints of Moosehead is a great deal for downtown, so fresh and cold. Love the service, Kiki and the staff really take care of you. You gotta try THE OFFICE.

I've been a few times in the last week, including Canada Day when it was slammed. Food has always been great, the atmosphere is a marked improvement over the last bar that was in this location, and the service was kind, informative, and attentive. Great new spot. I was served by Kiki and Cynthia and they did a great job.

Nice place to relax and have some beer. Reached their place just after the closing time, kitchen was closed so no food to eat. But the lady managing the patio seating area offered beer. She was full of energy, not only attended us well but also helped me in beer selection(sorry, forgot to ask her name)..

The venue we had chosen for one of our colleagues had to cancel our reservation due to a kitchen issue. The Office Resto Pub was able to accommodate 25 of us with excellent service and tasty dishes! Kudos to the hardworking staff.

Amazing Service and good food! We arrived into town later and needed to find a restaurant that served gluten free food! They kept the kitchen open a few min late to make sure we were able to have a meal! As a bonus the food was delicious!

I've been organizing team outings for the past 8 years. We always go to The Office. The service we get is always a+ and we have a great time. The food taste amazing and they have a lot of choice for drinks too. Last time we went, we were served by Kiki and Erika, their service was extraordinary! Can't wait for next time!

Super friendly staff. Good prices and great location. The band that was playing on the street gives this place a shout out over the other neighboring spots which credits their personality. Great late night spot
