Colonnade Pizza has consistently served up some of the best Za in town, been coming here for over 25 years. Love how the crust crunches and how it’s never soggy, always tasty. I would highly recommend as a must try for any pizza aficionados. Hats of to the staff and the guys behind the ovens that make it rain deliciousness 💯 today I went with the Sante Fe 😋

Drove out of my way to get their gluten free pizza and they did not disappoint! The woman who took my phone order was very sweet and helped me understand what ingredients I could and couldn't have with my allergy. Always a delicious splurge if you're in the area.

This is one of those "if you know, you know" places. While they have many in the city, none of them top the original OG Colonnade on Metcalfe. As always the food was amazing. Delicious pizza and amazing chicken wings are always my go to. The service however is always above and beyond what you call great service. They go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your food and your dine in experience. We were fasting for Ramadan and our pizza came 9 mins before time to break fast. Our waitress (I wish I got her name) INSISTED she come back at sunset to serve us the pizza on our plates. She was so amazing and attentive. It's the little things that count. All that to say, if you haven't tried it, do it.

Colonnade is generally my favorite pizza in the city so it pains me to leave this review. I ordered a large combination (and a medium 3 topping) easy on the sauce. I received this, what can only be described as terrible and not up to Colonnade standards. Tasted like DOUBLE sauce and HALF the cheese. I drove 25 KM to pick this up for a family gathering only to be let down...What happened?!

The pizza was okay. I heard a lot of hype from my friend about this place, but it did not meet my expectations. Ordered the Canadian and the Mediterranean. Also ordered a Ceasars salad to share. The total bill was over $110 plus tip. A bit high for thr actual taste. The desserts looked good, but unsure if they were. The waitress was quite attentive thus the 5 stars for service. Not sure if I will return.

Very familiar atmosphere. The vibe is not fantastic because the place is not beautiful, it’s old fashioned (not in a good way). But the food is really good, specially the pizza. I wouldn’t order the dessert again, but I would definitely be back for the onion soup and pizza!!

Been here many of times, tonight we ordered a large pizza to go. The dough was so thick, wasn't a normal Colonnade pizza at all. (Toppings were ok) Also not sure if they are run by new owners? (A couple?) - but not friendly whatsoever, not welcoming. Not a great experience this time around.

Visited Colonnade Pizza recently and had an enjoyable experience. It was certainly very busy, and in a 10 minute wait for my pizza to be cooked I saw numerous cars pull up for their orders. I was planning on dining elsewhere, so only opted for the 'personal' size and it was unique in its style, with a crisp dough, that was more like bread than pizza and a tasty tomato sauce. The pizza also had similarities to ones I've experienced in Lebanon, with the pepperoni under the cheese. Overall, I feel like I'd definitely return to Colonnade Pizza, as much for the food as the neighbourhood vibe and institution feel of the restaurant.

It was really good food for the value and is almost always open when the surrounding places are closed. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because they barely mixed up the orders and added chicken to the one without chicken. It still tasted good and we got the chicken for free.

It's another level of pizza, with lots of cheese with very nice crunchy edges. Meat lovers and Canadian are amazing. They also have a spicy olive oil (just a little tasty, almost not spicy) that is delicious. I loved getting to know this place, lots of locals and cozy space.

I placed a big phone order on August 5th. One of the items was a gluten-free pizza. The woman asked if I wanted a 10 inch or 12 inch gluten-free pizza. I said I wanted a 12 inch. When I got home 45 minutes later I open up the pizza box and it’s a large non-gluten-free 15 inch pizza. I reviewed the receipt and saw not only did she charge me for the wrong pizza after specifically knowing I said 12 inch gluten-free she also charged me $1.50 for crushed pepper on the side with a smile on her face. That is the equivalent of charging someone for salt. How embarrassingly pathetic. Very lame of a restaurant to not only get the order wrong but to charge me the wrong price for the wrong pizza and charge me $1.50 for a side of crushed pepper. Never again. Next time my family wants Colonnade I’m going to suggest a different restaurant.

We’ve had the Colonnade on Carling preciously which was fantastic. Maybe caught this location on a busy night but our pizza was floppy and soupy. Pizza barely stayed together. Taste was good though.

It's a great place to get a pizzas plenty of toppings and cheese, a thick slice. I shared a colonnade special/ Santa Fe large pizza with a few friends it was delicious. The service was great too, well most place ought to have good service, there was an old time feel to the service of the historic restaurant. Just little things you don't get everywhere. I then ordered their house banana cream pie, it was very good which I didn't expect. Do your self a favour and go.

The pizza was not bad, but the personnel’s attitude was not friendly at all. A man was showing us a table to seat and it was like we owed him something. Would never suggest the place even with good food, as long as I dont feel welcomed there.

Great family pizza with great prices. Their pizzas all come with a generous helping of cheese which everyone loved. Great variety of toppings. I was happy the sauce wasn't sweet and the dough and crust were soft and crunchy, respectfully. The only thing I would request to get the 5th star next time is some additional salt, pepper, parmesan cheese, and some oregano sprinkled over the sauce before the toppings are added. Their impeccable timing for my pick up of pizza and wings for a party of 30 people was professional and courteous. Next time we are in Ottawa, we'll definitely order from here again!

Hands down the best thick crust pizza I've had in Ottawa - the crispy cheese on top is unbeatable 👍🍕 I generally prefer thin crust pizza, but this is an exception. It's best to order with minimal toppings due to the amount of cheese on top and the thickness. The hot wings were good quality and meaty. Their Worlds best chocolate cake was SO decadent and delicious!

I grew up in Ottawa and thoroughly enjoyed their pizza in my teens. We moved back to Ottawa recently so we tried Colonnade again. They did not disappoint!! The pie is delicious and the delivery arrived quickly. So happy my family also has a chance to indulge in their phenomenal pizza. p.s If you're a fan of pineapple on pizza then give it a try with the smoked meat. DELICIOUS!

This place is historic and I’ve been a customer for over forty years. The pizza is simply the best, always has been and always will be. This is pizza you could identify in a blind tasting event - and it gets shipped all over North America by customers who now live away and crave their ‘pizza fix.’ (I had a bud who now lives in Calgary order 10 of his fav and they arrived expertly packaged by air delivery.) The staff is friendly and expert and the owners are gracious and engaged. It’s like eating at your favourite uncle’s place I’m going on about the pizza but everything on the menu is great and it’s a super spot for family gatherings. It’s consistent great and does not disappoint.

Calling Colonnade Pizza an institution seems a bit trite, but in this case it belongs. It’s the perfect place for a group lunch and/or celebration. The service was bang on and the food delivered quickly and efficiently. I enjoyed my ham, pineapple, banana peppers and onions - it is a favourite of mine. The Peroni was cold and refreshing. If you are looking for great pizza, then visit this place.

Great customer service from the waitress who accommodated us, as it was our first time dining in the place. Our order also arrived at a good time. I also love the vintage and homey vibe of the place. We ordered 2 flavors of their pizza, one with meat the other I guess was their specialty, with ham and veggies. Both are delicious, but I personally prefer the meat. Overall, a great place to have good food and have a beautiful time with loved ones.

Just moved back to Ottawa after 10 years, and I just HAD to have my first meal be from here! I ordered the Sante Fe minus the olives, with added chicken. It was so incredibly delicious! The toppings were plentiful but so fresh tasting! Loved everything about it! Excited to go back for another pizza night!!

Hot, hot pasta and pizza. Pizza cheese goes right to the edge of the crust. Salads are fresh. Dressing is real not bottled. Nice people. They’re fast. We go here every year we visit Ottawa and have been doing so for ~15 years. This year we had to do take-out because one child didn’t feel well. Meal for 4 was ready in 15 minutes!

It's a family friendly place so mostly people dining there looked like they were regulars. The service was okayish considering how busy the place was. The vibe was not that spectacular either. We ordered a medium vegetarian pizza and a veg. Lasagna which came with a side of salad. Although the food was delicious which makes me say i might go back there.

Absolutely the best pizza in Ottawa. I have tried everywhere in Ottawa and nothing compares to the downtown Colonnade.

This is a great pizza place, with the best pizza I've found in Ottawa. The slice size and thickness of toppings means a couple of slices of large will tap me out when 4 slices of pizza pizza can fill the gap. Service is generally not fast, but early dinner and late lunch can be faster than usual. They also let you divide larger pizzas into 2 flavours. Half ham and pineapple, half meat lovers is a crowd pleaser. Nice place to come once or twice a year.

If you loooove lots of cheese 🧀 on your pizza this place is for you! I was visiting Ottawa for the weekend so wanted to see what all the hype was about and if this pizza 🍕 was the world's best. Unfortunately for me and my husband, cheese is not our number 1 ingredient on a pizza. I love a kiln baked crusty yet soft crust with quality ingredients and unique flavor. This pizza is almost dipped in cheese. Not for us!

I have been going here since university. Now my children go. Thick with an enormous amount of cheese pizzas. Always reliable, alway tasty, and always friendly... What more could you want from a restaurant? Accessible 🦽

Yummy food and it was obvious that lots of people love this place. There were doordash/skip people coming non-stop to pick up orders. My picky kids ate their spaghetti with tomato sauce. That's a big win. Their pizzas are yummy too. Highly recommend.

We ordered the meat lovers pizza this time and maybe I'm not as much of a meat lover as I thought. Not to fault Colonnade at all. That is why I usually order a combination. I love green peppers and mushrooms. Maybe next time I will try the Canadian. But if you're a meat lover the Colonnade meat lovers is mighty meaty.

The Greek pizza I had tasted so great. I love the cheese they use and the rest of the pizza is made really great. I recommend this place. Its a sure thing.

Currently visiting Ottawa and wanted to try a pizza place. Decided to visit colonnade pizza on Metcalfe since it got pretty good reviews. When we opened the door we were greeted by an unfriendly staff member, he appeared annoyed. They were also stepping on the counters with their shoes on stacking pizza boxes in the kitchen. Will not be returning to this restaurant and will not be recommending it to family and friends. Pizza wasn’t too bad hence the 2 stars.

Great tasting pizza.

We had a confrontation with another driver as we were trying to enter parking lot. Other driver was driving on wrong side of laneway. Both cars at a stand still. Owner of colonnade came out and ordered us to move even though we were on the proper side. We said we’ll go elsewhere so we went to Al’s steakhouse around the corner and had a fabulous dinner!! Thanks colonnade for sending us there!!!
