A hidden gem within downtown Ottawa. This place is very inconspicuous, and I would never have known about it if I didn’t live near by. It’s no frills, family run, and DELICIOUS. One of the best, most filling sandwiches I’ve had by far. They don’t skimp out on the fillings, and the bread they use is amazing. Such a good little Sammy shop!!

A no frills sandwich joint tucked into an office building on O'Connor St. Don't be fooled by the modest advertising, the sandwiches here are incredibly delicious! The people running the place are super friendly and make you feel very comfortable. A must try if you are in the area for lunch!

I’ve been looking for some new lunch catering spots as my staff requested some more variety. I’m not sure how I found Upper Crust, but we’re really happy we did. As it was our first order I spent a little time organizing the menu, especially for our gluten intolerants. Finalized on a couple sandwich platters and salads. Tony promised deliciousness and he delivered! Did require a call to Tony, and he was very helpful. Delivered exactly as ordered on time by Paul, the staff were raving about the sandwiches for the rest of the day. The individually wrapped and clearly labeled sandwiches were phenomenal. Gluten free sandwiches and low carb option (salad) was clearly labeled as well. Great quality, well presented, on time, and within budget. We highly recommend Upper Crust! Update: May 2019 - Organized catering for group of 14 today. Team cheered when we announced the caterer at our morning meeting. Seemed ever more delicious than the first time. Passes the reliability test in both taste and delivery time.

I've tried all of his sandwiches and none of them have been disappointing. All of them are well flavoured and put together with care. Great choices in salads and excellent breakfast choices! I always go to Upper Crust for lunch and take advantage of them on Uber eats as well!

This little gem is located across the parking lot from my work. I first noticed our operations manager going over to get lunch often, so i was curious. One day we had a lunch catered by Upper Crust and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of sandwiches we received on our platters. The quality is worth every penny. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

Tony and his mum operate this little sandwich shop and know almost all their customers by their first name! They have an excellent selection of sandwiches and I can honestly say everything I have ever had here has been excellent. It's a must try! They also offer catering services!

Great food and customer services. I haven't tried their catering service yet. But, if you are stopping in for a sandwich you're in luck as they are amazing. Just call in advance for larger orders.

Haven't even tried the food yet but incredible customer service over uber eats. I'd asked for a couple of extra sauces and cutlery - all of which were included, and I received a call right after the order was picked up to let me know the coffee was left behind by the courier (milk & sugar in the bag I received) and offered to call him back, and assured that they'd remember next time even though it was no sweat at all. Whoever was at work today, you're great!

Definitely a hidden gem. Wouldn’t say it’s the best looking place from outside, but the food I had there was truly amazing. The sandwhich was really good and tasteful. The Thai chicken soup really hit the spot on a chilly fall day. On the plus side, they use artisin bread and carry their pastries and kronuts. NOM!! Definitely worth a try. Prices were also decent. And good customer service.

Chipotle chicken is amazing! First time just wandered in and will return.
