This restaurant doesn’t deserve any stars. Horrible! Never had food this bad, ever! We ordered through DoorDash. The naan was burnt and raw at the same time. The samosas had no stuffing and the dough was raw. The butter chicken had 3 tiny pieces of chicken in a bunch of sauce and the tandoori chicken was a 1/3 portion, greasy and burnt. I don’t see how this place can possibly last! Avoid at all cost

If you like watery sauce with your chicken and "Kashmiri rice" that is just basmati with dried cranberries on top, this place is for you. Shown below is the "butter chicken" and Kashmiri rice. This isn't my first time trying this restaurant, but will be my last as the quality has gone significantly downhill in the past year.

I tried 3 items at this restaurant. Chicken Biriyani, vegetable Biriyani, Kashmiri Pulav. Pathetic experience. Chicken Biriyani: Basmathi rice well cooked and chicken pieces. Rice grains were yellow and red; color full. Didn’t understand from which angle this is called a biriyani. Kashmiri Pulav: same rice as chicken biriyani and one dry fruit on it! The chef needs to either learn Kashmiri pulav or remove this from the menu.picture added Vegetable Biriyani: amazingly big pieces of three types of veggies. One is cauliflower, other one was some melon and if you do a treasure hunt you might find beans!sorry if I missed any only get veggie! Taste pathetic. Unlike the other two veg biriyani had a bit of spices! Picture of veg biriyani is added Please rename the items in the menu!

I have much higher hakka standards than this. Chicken corn soup should be much thicker, and the color is off. Chilli chicken was a poor portion and way too spicy. Gravy game needs some work too... Somebody please open up some good Asian restaurants in Ottawa!!!!

I ordered chili chicken, noodles, pakoras, naan bread, and vegetable korma. The chili chicken ($13.99) tasted alright but the portion was incredibly small. The container in the attached picture is very shallow and peppers actually took up a good amount of space. The noodles ($10.99) taste like instant noodles (maybe they are?). Do not recommend! Go to the grocery store and pay $1 for instant noodles instead. The pakoras ($3.99) were cold but tasted alright. The naan bread ($2.99) was good but expensive for single piece of naan bread. The vegetable korma ($11.99) was good but spicy (asked for mild). Overall I don't recommend going here. It's expensive and you don't get a lot of food for your money. To the owners, increase your portion sizes or lower the prices. In Toronto you can get chili chicken on noodles for $12.50 (huge portion).

To be honest should’ve checked the reviews before ordering, our bad. At least take the feedback and try to improve. Waited an hour to get uneatable food. Please either shorten your menu so you can sell dishes that actually taste like something instead of this tasteless, oily, left over items. Worst experience ever and will not recommend.

Worst indian food i’ve ever tried. i had ordered paneer pasanda, dry fruits mainly were peanuts and that too stale. Garlic Naan had no garlic flavour. Dal tarkal had no salt and blunt. They just added jeera tadka to saffron rice. I should’ve checked the reviews beforehand. This place shouldn’t exist.

I ordered lamb curry but the meal was an oily swill of dry rice, lamb bones and a piece of hard beef. the workers were not very clean while handling the food. Horrible disgusting place. they should be shutdown immediately. I can’t believe they were given a license to sell food. this place is disgusting even by Mumbai slum food standards .

I ordered delivery at 3:30am. I was worried from the reviews but the reviews are SO dramatic omg. The butter chicken was AMAZING it was PERFECT, exactly what I was craving so late at night!! Perfect chicken, perfect sauce, filled to the brim, very nice large naan. I had an amazing 4am meal after a long hard work shift. I am so happy. The reviews are crazy, the butter chicken really is truly delicious. Order it!! Go ahead!! This is your one sane review to push you to order from here. Glad this place exists and thank you thank you thank you for being open so late, I know it’s rare for ethnic restaurants but I seriously appreciate it 🙏🏼🕉️ I can’t even post a picture because I devoured it in 5min…. 🤭

Wasn’t impressed with the service, I picked up my order to 3 of the owners kids running around with no masks screaming about minecraft. The chicken korma was very watery & tastless. The rice was also very unappealing. I get excited when trying a new restaurant, unfortunately this wasn’t a good experience & I won’t be back.

My mistake, I should have read the reviews first. Food is bad, the cooking is lazy. I couldn't serve someone this food and look at them in the eyes at the same time. My recommendation is avoid this place. 2 stars because the food is still edible.

The Chicken Korma here is so good. I keep ordering it, so it's time for the review. 5 stars. The sauce is fantastic and the chicken is always tender. Get it with Naan or rice and you'll be good!

I ordered from Door dash and regardless of all the bad reviews I saw about this restaurant before ordering, I decided to give it the benefit of doubt because of the good review just before mine that sounded convincing. But WRONG! Don’t trust the 1 of 10 good reviews. Listen to the majority!! I ordered the Butter Chicken w/ rice, mango lassi and Egg fried rice and only the Butter Chicken and rice came. It came watered down tasting and the chicken was so dry and unseasoned. Save your money and your time and get something else.

The korma sauce itself was good but the meat within was mostly fat and gristle. I also got a quite large piece of plastic in it...

Most of the food we ordered was fine, some of the meals were better than others naturally. However the Kheer tasted old and bitter. I was not expecting a western level of sugar but I was hoping for a little sweetness. Despite my overwhelming disappointment with dessert the food itself was great, and their late hours are great too. Will definitely order again, just without dessert.

There are some amazing places that don't look the part. This unassuming place is worth every penny and then some. The saag paneer is creamy, achari gosht was fragrant and tender, butter chicken was juicy and oh so good! The classic combo platter is a great entrée to share. It includes some of the best pakuras and bhajis I've ever had.

Dear night time indian food craving person, please save your money and don’t give in to impulse hunger order. You will be wasting your money and time ordering from here. You will be having no idea what you are eating, it is not even food. The only reason of them staying in business is lack of Indian restaurants open till late. Please, it’ll take 10 min to make instant noodles or to walk to your nearest tims for a bagel. You’ll be saving yourself from way more than money.

Worst food ever eaten. Ordered chicken Biryani out of midnight cravings and it is not even the biryani I got. They sent me slow-cooked boneless chicken pieces in ginger garlic rice. Please don't order from this restaurant. 🙏🙏

Worst Experience. This was my first and last time ordering from this disgusting place. I ordered 2* hakka noodles. 1Manchiran and drinks. Noodles were stale, they were sticked together and hard. Did not send any cuttlery even after asking. My drinks were missing. The whole experience was bad.

This is one of the BEST Indian food places in Ottawa!! They have a wide variety and selection of foods, from butter chicken to chicken tikka and biryani. The taste is just simply PHENOMENAL, I have never had better Indian food than I have here, their chicken tikka is my personal favorite. I absolutely recommend their food!!

Bought panner makhani and garlic naan for take out. Ended up hurting my stomach and couldn’t sleep for the whole night. Worst food ever.

I ordered a sizeable portion of food very late at night & it still arrived at my door hot/homemade/delicious. I was so impressed with the quality of the food. I highly recommend!

Ordered the chili chicken, lamb rogan josh, lamb biryani and naan via Uber Eats. Food arrived hot and fresh, but sadly the chili chicken leaked a little. All the food tasted like I'd find in South India. Chili chicken was quite spicy, but pretty good. Biryani was alright, the lamb was spiced well and there was a decent amount of it, but I've had better biryani. The rogan josh did not taste like a Kashmiri dish at all. In fact it tasted like an Andhra style lamb korma. I love a good south Indian korma, but I wanted a rogan josh and that wasn't it. Overall, the food was alright for the price.

I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price and to make it even worse taste is not even close to authentic.

I've been ordering Dana's since they were located downtown and while sometimes the same dish tastes/looks different from day to day, I have always found it delicious! Hands down my favorite indian restaurant in town, cant believe it only has 3 stars. I always get extra to share with my friends they always like it too. Some items are low quality but if you know what to avoid you'll always be happy with your order. Just like any other restaurant really 🤷‍♂️
