What a wonderful treat for me when I decided to order our Turkey dinner from your Cafe - it came with a beautiful turkey, fully cooked and browned to perfection, mashed potatoes, baby carrots, gravy, and cranberry sauce. I t made made our Thanksgiving festivities so much more enjoyable as I didn't have to spend time in the kitchen!! Will certainly do this again for the next big occasion (hoping the same or similiar offer will be available).

If you are from out of town and looking for a place to dine in, don't go here. Cause apparently you DO need to have a reservation for you to dine in. No sign at the front door as well that one needs a reservation. Too bad, even if most of the review here say the food is great. Just being honest.

Amazing breakfast, I had classic egg’s benny for brunch. Their coffee is DELICIOUS, server was really sweet. Said she’s been working there for a while and really likes it. Owner at the end offered us the BEST banana cake with creamcheese frosting (not a 100% sure on the frosting) on the house which was a nice surprise! They also have a store next to the brunch place that sells different stuff like shawls, mugs, accessories! Would return for sure

This is a great place for a bite, a coffee, or something unique from the gift shop. Reasonably priced and yet very good food and service. Better make a reserva before you go.

I’ve always wanted to try this place out and it was worth it. The homemade salad dressing and the heart shaped pancakes accompanied as a side with our Breakfast Eggs Benny was top notch. The owners are very attentive and the food is amazing. Worth a trip out here for those looking for country charm.

You'll know everything you need to know as soon as you step into the place, the atmospheres amazing and the services even better. Somehow. The food is exactly what you would expect from a home cooked meal. Definitely worth stopping in and maybe making it your regular stop. I was pleased to find out that they have coffee on the go as well so I might have to try their latte next time.

Quaint with a cheery welcome atmosphere. Great local Equator coffee served and a delicious healthy portion. Feels like a family kitchen. Thanks for the excellent service!

Love this little Cafe in the heart of dunrobin. Only 15 mins from kanata, a great place to meet up for breakfast or lunch. So friendly and happy to see you come in, not many places like this anymore.

My wife and I live in Australia but we’re visiting Dunrobin and couldn’t WAIT to go to the Heart and Soul for a hot breakfast. Do yourself a favour and stop in for a meal and bottomless equator coffee. Perfect spot for visiting out of towners and locals looking for a first rate meal.

I had made a reservation April 26 for May 14. It is Mother's Day and also my wife's birthday. When I called the person said it's a good idea you are calling now. I mentioned about the birthday and she said something can be arranged. Six of us arrived this morning and my reservation was no where to be found. I understand mistakes can happen but the owner was rude and said what do you want me to do about it. First of all he didn't need to be rude and he could have apologized nicely. Secondly he could have offered a 10% discount for another visit. Instead he said I think I know who it was and will fire her. Not very professional. I think he doesn't care about customer service.

Stopped by on a long bike ride today to purchase a bottle of water & use the restroom and the gentleman working very kindly offered to just fill my bottles instead - so, of course I had to buy a snack! The cornbread he offered was served hot and buttered and it was oh so good. Very kind, welcoming service. Staff were wearing masks, which I appreciate sincerely. I am sure a meal here would be a delight. Cyclists, stop here on your Carp loops! You'll be in good hands.

Food is average. Not bad but nothing spectacular. Although nicely presented and garnished nicely. When you go there no matter how empty it is the guy asks if you have a reservation as if it's a hard to get into spot which is kinds tacky. It has rhe potential to be very nice inside but needs some repairs. They won't turn on air conditioning inside and keep the doors open sp you get mosquitoes, flies and get to be warm all at once. Not ideal to say the least. Even though we were the only table breakfast for 3 people took almost 40 minutes.

Heart and soul has a cosy comfortable atmosphere with welcoming owners and staff. The food is delicious with many choices!! (And very accommodating). It is always recommended to reserve ahead, give the kitchen an idea what numbers will be like. Love our Dunrobin jem!

A cute little brunch place a bit off the beaten path, this place has affordable lunch and brunch, situated in a very cozy and comforting dining room. Great for couples or a few friends, make sure to call ahead as it's a busy spot!

0 Heart and Soul in this place. Apparently one needs a reservation for weekend breakfast. Both servers were unnecessarily rude in telling us so. Left us standing in the door walked away. (The dining room was empty by the way). A little kindness and decency would have gone a long way.

Recommend highly - the service and food were superb - the cozy decor - no music blaring - no tv's at every corner - this cafe is designed to be social with your fellow companions - the menu's gave lots of choice to the point it's hard to decide - the food perfect - can't wait to go again. Thanks to all staff for creating such a wonderful comfortable atmosphere and whoever is cooking - WOW - SO VERRRY GOOD

We love coming to the heart and soul. Such friendly service, beautiful, delicious and nourishing food, and a wonderful atmosphere. I have celiac disease and they have an abundance of gluten free options for me including pancakes and waffles! My husband got a breakfast quesadilla and it was incredible. We highly recommend.

I ordered take out for the first time here to support local. My order was for a specific time and I received the order 5mins late and I had to go back in to have the order corrected as I was just given a sandwich without the salad when I ordered and paid for the combo. I am pretty reasonable to accept a mildly late delivery if a place is really busy and they are short staffed however the cook was socializing with guests. The restaurant also was full of burnt cooking smoke and made the air hazy. I also noted bickering in the kitchen especially after I had mentioned I had not received my full order. Overall the food was good but the experience was lacking.

Dropped in just by chance as I was working in the area. I went in and admired the character of this warm and friendly feeling bistro. I went in looking for something quick, and was amazed at how quick they could make me an absolutely delicious chicken club sandwich. Too bad I didn't have time to take in the atmosphere. It was a little restaurant with a lot of character

Cozy, Friendly and Hearth Warming little Gem, if you happen to cross the city like me, it is a must to stop by, amazing food and service.

Food is great but not the customer service. I was denied service because I can't wear a mask, yet earlier in the week it wasn't a problem when I picked up my order. That's okay I will just take my business elsewhere.

Such a nice place to visit, the people are so kind here. It’s a cozy spot. Breakfast is great, featuring roasted baby potatoes, and your coffee never runs empty.

Remember to call ahead to reserve ahead (pandemic times)!:) A must try lovely quaint café with truly delicious breakfast using quality ingredients. We had such a good time on the terrasse, the owner is so nice and welcoming, got to hear the cafe’s stories too!

Tracy, Jim and Jody were so amazing and sweet. They had answered any questions I had and they loved to chat. This restaurant definitely makes you feel at home. The fruit plate and the bagels were awesome and the hot chocolate is so tasty. I will definitely be back!
