Absolutely, hands down, the Best schnitzel restaurant in Ottawa. If you have not been here, drop everything immediately and Go! The schnitzel is crispy and juicy. The ingredients are top notch. The cabbage and spatzel are wonderful. And the staff top everything off with a warm atmosphere. Please go eat here! (Picture of dinner for 2)

ALWAYS consistent with their DELICIOUS 😋 food and FRIENDLY service! This is a family owned restaurant and they pride themselves on delivering FRESH ingredients on ever plate!! My wife and I have been regulars for many years and will continue to come here!! Highly recommend you try this out BEST SCHNITZEL in town!!

Had the pork Gypsy Platter. Got it with Spätzle. First of all...Jayzus! That was BIG! The schnitzel tasted great with the cheese and fried onions. I could do without the peppers personally but that's just personal preference. The spätzle was tasty and firm. Well worth the cost. Will definitely be back. Personally, the fact there was near no one in the restaurant was great but obviously not good for their business.

I had the Canadian chicken Schnitzel with onion rings and it was delicious. Large portion as you can tell on the picture, and a large piece of breaded chicken in a large loaded bun. Friendly service, quick service. Will definitely go back and try one of their other schnitzel options. Recommended!

The best Schnitzel in town. Taste delicious and super fresh, made at order. Owner is super friendly and you can see that they care about their products. Absolutely we are ordering again and probably make it one of our usual take outs. Just bear in mind that they only open for lunch till 4pm. Overall...a great find.

Been here many times. Always amazing food! Tried the Mexican, the Greek and now the Australian pork schnitzel (my new favourite!!!)

We, unfortunately, never got to try it. We went at 3pm on a Wednesday and were told by the lovely waitress that we could only get take-out, but then the lady in the kitchen shouted "NO I have catering I have no time for this." ... The waitress was extremely apologetic, but we were very put off and disappointed. Regardless of catering, you think they could accomodate 2 people an hour before they close. I hate leaving this review but if someone were to walk here, or depend on getting lunch they should be aware that this is a possibility. Too bad for us.

Had a Wiener Pork Schnitzel Platter. The portion is generous and priced fairly. Friendly and nice vibe family-owned restaurant. The pork inside is juicy and tender. Although I would have preferred a little bit more seasoning in the schnitzel patty itself, there are abundances of salt and pepper shakers present on the table which allows for seasoning to taste.

We had a great lunch, and food came out quick with great presentation. Nice and hot and was delicious. The server was very friendly and helpful with suggestions.

Amazing food. Fresh, properly done. A real stand out in the European food scene in Ottawa. I have never left hungry, or disappointed. Service is always friendly, quick and with a smile. Wish it was licensed!

My first time here and will definitely be back. Lots of options there's definitely something for everyone. Delicious schnitzel. I had the Gypsy platter. The staff were friendly and attentive. It's a nice cozy restaurant that gives small town vibes in the city. Looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future!

After years of coming here with friends & family - I took my friend yesterday because she’s never had Slavic food (and being Slavic myself, I had to change that haha) & she was very impressed! Thank you Aliya (I’m not sure of the spelling) for the great service! Food was amazing as usual! Side note: Also, very cool that this business is Slovak owned, being that I am too & not many of us are in Ottawa! 5/5 in all metrics!

Great tasting schitzel and very generous portions of sides that come along with it. My first time today and I had the Wiener Schnitzel Platter with roasted potatoes and Speck Kraut. 11/10 would come back again.

My schnitzel was crispy, juicy, and smothered under mushrooms and gravy. Yum. The cabbage was perfectly cooked and seasoned, but the spaetzle was a tad cold. Service was super warm and attentive. My son's chicken schnitzel was oddly smaller than the 3 pork schnitzels at our table. Not sure if that's standard. A humble diner vibe.

Cozy and quaint atmosphere with fantastic, friendly staff. It was our first time and we will be coming back! We shared the pork platter for two and it was delicious!

A simple and fuss-free restaurant where they serve good food. The service was fast and friendly, and the price was reasonable. We ordered the for two schnitzel plate. It came in a very generous portion. The sausage was great. They must have their own secret recipe. The schnitzel was also very good. We couldn't finish and brought the rest home.

We Wanted to eat in Ottawa at a German restaurant. I went to your menu “page” and all that was there were photographs of your menu, which couldn’t be read when enlarged due to it being blurry. I considered this a disregard of potential customers. We ate elsewhere.

Truly Ottawa's best Schnitzels! Yvetta is a wonderfully warm and welcoming host, on short order she prepared the most delicious Schnitzels I've had outside of Germany for the Oktoberfest luncheon I organized for my work colleagues.

I love this place! Their schnitzel sandwiches and spaetzel pasta are so good! I like to get my spaetzel topped with cheese and fried onion, and even though kasespaetzel isn't listed on the menu, I've been able to communicate with the restaurant to have it made with cheese and fried onion both times I've been here. My only complaint is they don't stay open even later each day. Yum! Highly recommend!

Don’t assume the serving size of the schnitzel is making up for something lacking elsewhere. It’s absolutely delicious. Just grabbed an Austrian style Pork Schnitzel with a side order of kraut and it was the real deal. Worth leaving the immediate downtown area for without question.

Yummy spot for lunch! It was our first time having schnitzel so I can't really compare it to anything else but the portions were large and it tasted great so we certainly enjoyed it.

I only ordered and pick up from there, but you can eat inside as well. Love the schnitzel! At least 30 different kinds on the menu. My favorite is the Canadian Schnitzel!

First time trying this restaurant. I was hungry and didn't know where to eat and i always pass by it figured i would drop in. I havent had a schnitzel for a long time i dove in and tried their classic pork schnitzel and it was to die for soooo good totally recommended👌👌🤤 the girl working the window was helpful and making the right choice 👌

Excellent service with a personal touch. They go out of their way to create a positive customer experience. It's only a small restaurant but the food and service is huge. Good parking in a busy area. If you like European or German food then this place is a must. Open from 10am to 3pm
