We
booked
a
room
for
the
Victoria
Day
long
weekend,
which
for
two
nights
was
over
$700.
Our
room
was
clean
but
nothing
special
-
two
double
beds,
TV,
and
a
small
refrigerator.
Our
biggest
issue
was
the
parking
situation,
which
is
atrocious.
The
hotel
is
connected
to
the
CF
mall,
which
means
shared
parking.
It
took
us
one
hour
from
the
moment
we
arrived
by
car
to
the
hotel,
to
when
we
got
to
our
room.
That's
because
it
took
over
10
minutes
to
get
through
to
the
parking
lot,
and
about
30
minutes
more
to
circle
and
find
a
spot.
For
a
"luxury"
hotel,
there
should
be
dedicated
parking
to
hotel
visitors.
We
shouldn't
be
circling
around
the
parking
lot
to
find
a
spot
for
a
$700
room
charge,
and
at
$30
parking
rate
per
day
(with
no
in-and-out
privileges).
The
hotel
is
also
not
very
accessible
-
the
parking
lot
doors
to
the
hotel
are
not
automated.
The
other
downside
was
that
the
hotel
was
packed;
we
booked
it
to
use
the
pool
primarily
but
it
was
too
busy
all
weekend
with
kids
and
families.
On
average,
it
took
about
10
minutes
to
wait
for
elevators.
And,
it
was
noisy
on
the
floors;
kids
were
running
around
past
11
p.m.
On
the
plus
side,
staff
were
helpful
and
responsive
and
the
location
of
the
hotel
is
great
-
walkable
to
everything
in
downtown
Ottawa.
Overall,
I
wouldn't
visit
again
as
I
don't
think
it's
worth
the
price
and
because
of
the
parking
issue.
