My
husband
and
I
attended
the
Haunted
Ottawa
"bubble"
walking
tour
on
the
weekend.
Our
Tour
Animator,
Seth,
was
enthusiastic
and
the
ghost
stories
related
to
various
old
Ottawa
buildings
were
interesting.
It's
a
fun
thing
to
do
for
tourists
or
people
who
are
familiar
with
Ottawa
for
a
different
perspective.
I
was
surprised
that
Ottawa's
most
famous
ghost
story
wasn't
even
mentioned
on
our
tour-
that
around
the
murder
of
D'Arcy
McGee,
especially
when
the
tour
office
is
located
right
on
Sparks
Street
and
the
Darcy
McGee
pub
is
right
next
door!
I
would
highly
suggest
that
Tour
Guides
"cross-promote"
your
Ottawa
Jail
tour
by
mentioning
the
Patrick
Whalen
trial
story.
Also,
the
tour
was
a
bit
short
and
you
don't
get
very
close
at
all
to
the
buildings...just
seemed
odd.
The
$30
ticket
price
is
a
bit
high
for
what
it
is...I'd
say
$23-$25
would
be
more
reasonable,
esp
when
there
are
free
1.5
hour
walking
tours
of
Ottawa.
The
only
other
note
I
have
is
that
our
Guide,
Seth,
at
one
point
asked
me
"move
back"
from
him.
I
was
*wearing
a
mask*
and
was
standing
a
good
4-5
feet
down
the
stairs
from
him.
He
had
a
soft
voice
that
does
not
project
well
and
was
muffled
by
his
mask
and
the
traffic
on
Elgin
Street.
The
way
he
said
it
was
inappropriately
defensive
and
frankly,
rude.
I
felt
singled
out
and
publicly
embarrassed
and
felt
like
leaving
the
tour,
but
it
was
just
beginning.
Sorry,
but
his
tone
was
inappropriate.
Should
ask
if
EVERYONE
COULD
HEAR
HIM
OK,
or
get
a
small
portable
Mic
if
you
have
a
quiet
voice.
Downtown
Ottawa
is
a
loud
place.
