Large portion of the beach is blocked for construction. Trail spills out onto the road in oncoming traffic if going downtown, but otherwise a good place to hang out and take a dip

The beach is lovely with beautiful sunset views. Please note that it is closed for the season though as the city is developing it further.

I have never taken the opportunity to take a little dip here at Westboro Beach. It does look like a nice little hang out for sure besides the scenery surrounding the beach is very nice. One of these summers I will finally go for a swim there. 👍☺️

Outstanding views and a really nice and clean beach. We got there after a really nice walk around the neighborhood. It was really nice to end up at that great place. Also it was something really nice to see people from a association taking care of the place, giving advice to visitors and making the place even better. Really nice place

A very small strip of beach, and just a tiny area demarcated for swimming. Good place to see the sunset. There's also a cafe with live music here.

Westboro Beach is a small fun place to go to on a hot summer day to enjoy the Ottawa river, the beach and waterfront. On special weekends there is live outdoor music playing, mostly Latino. This adds a lot of fun and diversity to Ottawa. So lets get ready to Salsa! The pavillion area is supported by bathrooms, canteen and an outdoor bar where alcohol and meals are available. The City of Ottawa NCC will be closing the pavillion and beach areas for the summer of 2022 to make needed renovations to the Pavillion, parking lot and to build a new lifeguard station. Also note: There will be detours around this area due to construction. If you like my reviews, photos or videos why not join the festival at the beach when it is all fixed up and dance like you don't care who is watching.

A lovely spot to relax by the Ottawa River. The sand and grass area is kept clean. Easily accessible by bike (NCC pathways lead right by it) but could use a few more stands to lock up your bike. If you want to sit on the beach be sure to bring your own towel or chair as none are available on the sand (benches are available on the path leading to the beach, from where you can still have a great view).

One of my favorite beaches to hangout on around Ottawa. Water is not as nice as Gatineau park but there's a bar and snack bar and good vibes and lots of sand to lay on.

This place is beautiful to watch the sunset, have a quick swim or come with your family or friends. Its busy in summer & peaceful + quiet mist other times. People love to bring their dogs.

Nestled nicely below street level of the Ottawa River Parkway, with music playing, sitting on the patio, or on the sand, you look out at the water and quickly forget that you're still in the city. That alone is reason enough to visit Westboro and lose yourself in the tropical feel of this place.

Nice experience. A few confused inebriated people on the beach but clean and guarded.

The beach was great, nice sand, great ambience but the only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because i found the swimming area and beach a bit small. Otherwise comfortable with option of shade by the tree.

Amazing peaceful place nearby city area. Its not a big beach but worth visiting and spending time here.

Wesboro beach is a nice spot to stop along the pathway for a beverage in the Summer or a quick swim. During the Winter it has a peaceful majestic beauty. Nature at it's best in our Capital.

Lovely onshore breezes. Close to bike path. Too much goose poop on grassy slope.

Good place to change the routine. A bit small but enough, though the water quality isn't that good.

Nice Beach. Small parking lot so better go by bike.
