I have been living in Ottawa for over 11 years and I never took the time to visit this wonderful little garden. A truly romantic place to visit with your significant other. I suggest you to visit the garden late at night during the sunset. It would take you about 30 minutes do go around every lanes of flowers. Dog friendly!!!

This garden is spectacular and phenomenally well maintained! Shout out to the volunteers keeping this gem in Ottawa clean, beautiful and worthy of visit. Love the fresh air the breeze in this garden… a little pound with golden fish in it, and varieties of plants, herbs and flowers… tbh, the only point that I would deduct is that not all the areas are accessible for those on the wheelchair or stroller. Other than that, this place is a piece of heaven!

This is my favorite garden. I feel in love for the first time since my first visit and I spend my time during summer reading book or just listening to the music and I bring my lunch with me. Just beautiful, peace and colorful so many flowers.

Beautiful place to view a large variety of flowers, shrubs and trees. So many beautiful plants here. Great spot for photographers, people who love the beauty of nature. Terrific for both adults and kids. Lots of parking available for a small fee. Wander on over and see all the farm animals right next door.

I visited this place last week and it was beautiful to take shots. However, I have to go back again since it was still too early in spring and not much to see. If you are looking to enjoy it, go a bit later spring or beginning of summer. Some parts (so far) of the gardens looked beautiful and enjoyable.

One of the best gardens in Ottawa. It’s very well maintained and quite. I visited this site many times just to walk around. This year I decided to host a birthday picnic under one of the trees and it turned out great! Although there were other people at the park it still felt very private, there weren’t many bugs and I was able to decorate a little without any issues.

Happened to drive by this lovely garden and decided to check it out up close as we had to while away a bit of time. The people of Ottawa are very fortunate to have this little gem of an oasis in the city. A good variety of plants and flowers lovingly tended by gardeners (who appear to be local volunteers) A great place to sneak a few peaceful moments and clear your mind. A great place for photographers too.

Such a lovely walk on a frosty November morning. There is still some colour in the gardens& few flowers that are still in bloom. Always an interesting place to spend time. Love all the beautiful flowers and trees that are in this area of the Experimental Farm. It will be nice when they refurbished the pond & fountain.

I use this place to show my child the animals beneath the veil of our agricultural system. These animals, though constrained by the limits of their nature still share a great deal with us and our human experience. They too were created and sustained by the industrial systems we are enmeshed in, they too cannot leave if they wanted to. My hope is that these early connections with nature will foster an empathy for nature, so that I can mitigate the cultural solipsism which is driving this civilization off a cliff. It is too easy to ignore the systematic misery this culture visits on these innocent beings in the name of profit and efficiency, this place offers its patrons and their families the ability to connect with those without a voice nor much of a choice. Great for the whole family, or go alone, idc

A nice place for a walk or for a family picnic. There is a playground and a toboganning hill for kids to enjoy in winter, and the paths are combed for walking. The new outdoor gym nooks are a handy addition. Sadly, the beach goers have become way too loud blasting music through powerful speakers, and powerboats don't seem to be restricted around the beach area. Nevertheless, the river and gorgeous sunsets are lovely to observe in any season.

Lovely for a stroll on a spring/summer/autumn day. The blooms keep changing. It's good to pack a picnic and/or just walk around. Nothing much to do except enjoy the blooms, also good for photography.
