The Riverain park is a very large park with lots of space for relaxing as well as several purpose-built infrastructures in place. Great view by the water, and also a bike trail running through it. Opens up to many residential streets as well as the Adawe Crossing bridge to Strathcona park. Tennis, baseball, dog park and structures are all available.

Riverine Park is the perfect place to go for an evening stroll or a bike ride. You can cross the foot and bike bridge at Donald Street then walk along the Rideau River through peaceful gardens to circle around and cross back to the Riverain Park at the Rideau Street bridge.

Very nice park with picnic tables, benches, city parking. Right on the banks of the Rideau River and minutes from downtown Ottawa. This is a great place for seeing migratory birds in the spring.

This is one of the beautiful parks in rideau. It extends for so long. You could keep jogging for about theee kilometers looking at the river, the ducks, the sun. You could sit and watch the sunset too. There is a court where you can play your favorite stuff too. There is even a playground for kids. It’s a romantic spot too. It’s amazing. I sit here watch sunset for most of the days in sunmer.

Beautiful place to go. I visit there frequently to take snapshots, videos of the scenery as well as the different kinds of animals and birds.

Currently under construction (and controlled by the geese) but the amenities should be really cool once it's done!

Beautiful park in a great location. Lots of people make use of the grounds to picnic, exercise or just hang out. We were there for the Odyssey Theatre that is held every August (also highly recommended).

So much to see and do here. Playground, basketball, tennis, skateboard park, lawn bowling. Water fountain for pets and people.

Little paradise on earth for bikers, photographers, birders and just about anyone who wants to enjoy nature. Beautiful. The playground is great for kids and parents, with a splash area, but there aren't obvious restrooms I could see. Did friendly and many areas you can stop and have a picnic but not a lot of tables. There are benches, though.

There's so much at this park. Skateboarding, basketball, kids playground, pickleball. It is very clean.

This is a huge park that has bicycle trails for 🚲🛴 , picnic area, dog park, Riverview with lots of ducks to watch, skateboard 🛹 park, baseball ⚾ field, splashpad , playground area, swings and slides. plenty of seats and plenty of parking. easily accessible by OC Transpo🚇🚏. within walking distance to a pizzeria 🍕 or Loblaws/Joe Fresh supermarket. Kids & parents love it here. very clean and well kept park. I enjoy my time every time I am here. I have yet to discover the trails along the Rideau River.

A nice place to go for a walk and / or use the many places in the park. Perfect for all who love the outdoors.

A great Ottawa Park spread out along the Eastern side of the Rideau River. Lots to see and do including a kids park, splash pad, adult park, tennis courts, off leash dog park, all connected by bike and walking paths. A real gem of a park.

Very nice park for children. Splash and soaker gadgets. Kids love it. There's an adjacent pay for parking lot. Unfortunately, there's no washrooms or change rooms. There are play structures and skateboard area. Most people go to the Loblaws up the street if they need to go to washroom. Overall, a clean, safe park with wood chips to soften the impact for kids wjen they accidentally fall down.

The roads in this place are very unfriendly to pedestrians. There are only bicycle lanes and no walking lanes. Bicycles are ridden very quickly. It is not safe to walk and social distance cannot be guaranteed. In addition, roads are being built everywhere in this area, and the dust is flying. Will not come again.

Riverain North has bike path too close to North field (small field). Home plate only. The south field, near Washrooms, has spectator stands. Should be much nicer once Renos complete

Really calm waters and you can see some really cute ducks :)

Beautiful location for picnics and softball! The path along the Rideau River is a major thoroughfare, so always good to know which bridge you are meeting at, to avoid getting lost.

Lovely dog park my pup had an absolute blast and my gf and I really enjoyed walking by the water. We are still newish to Ottawa, will definitely be back and taking photos next time.

Cool place to crush some balls on the baseball field. The trees provide plenty of shade. There's a dog park section too. The park is right beside a bike path and water. Spiffy likes this place😁

Supervise your kids at all times. The new splash pad and play structures are really nice. My child wanted to go down by the river and we couldn't, there were a lot of tents set up and people sleeping there.

Great park, great scenery, but was very uncomfortable with obvious drug user, completely out of his head, hunched over on the bench near where my children were playing.

  • 5/5 Cyrus H. 1 year ago on Google
Great paths that are well maintained and wonderful green space that has lots of benches for sitting and enjoying the view. Great for warm weather.

  • 5/5 Ted M. 1 year ago on Google
Good for pickleball! There are three shared-use tennis courts. The nets were all low enough for pickleball (34") and because of the nearby tennis courts it seemed like it was never too busy.

A great park space by the river. Two baseball fields, several parks, and a few picnic table makes for a great place to spend an afternoon.

Nice place for a stroll and spending some time with the young ones. Except those geese are savages. They poo everywhere and are not too scared of anyone but the big dogs😅

  • 5/5 Mike C. 2 years ago on Google
Stunning river so much animals and friendly people most of the time and there's a pub with food further ahead, they're fixing the park etc so it will be nicer soon.
