One of the best if not the best place in the city for hill Repeats. It will make your legs burn! Also offers some nice views of the Gatineau hills as well as the city. There's also a little trail system around the hill that's quite fun. At the top of the hill, there's a large field. You often see people with dogs running freely. The field makes a great makeshift soft track for running workouts. It also goes without saying the hill is great for tobogganing in the winter months. The only thing it's missing is a playground, hence the four stars.

We went here following a snow flurry, it was quiet and was bliss for our kids. The hills were too steep for short legs, so it only gets 4 stars for that reason. Would be a great place for older kids.

This is an awesome hill for sledding. It's lit up at night, there is hay along the sides and a long slow taper at the end. Since it is part of the highest point in Ottawa, the wind is fierce.

Going to the Bike Park in the Summer is the best for biking and sledding down the hill is also fun and the best in the winter and I can say it’s absolutely perfect no issue and most of all Takes me 10 minutes to get there and I recommend it for anyone.

Great sliding hill! Very steep and slippery. Potentially dangerous, but worth the risk.

Super sledding in the winter. Nice bike paths in the summer. More recently added, a bike park/ pump track at the top of the hill.

Lovely place to walk the dogs! Lots of familiar faces there who walk every day, usually you can find a group of people to walk with and let your pups play. Never really had any bad experiences other than the occasional dog who is on leash and isn't friendly. But that's what you expect anytime at a dog area.

They need to bring back the rope lift. Perfect place for tobogganing and learning how to ski/snowboard. Just needs that lift back!!!

Underrated and tobogganing/tubing hill. If it was groomed, it would have been the perfect place to ski!

Since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, the Carlington Park (incl the toboggan hill & the reservoir) has been one of my favourite places for snowshoeing, XC skiing, trail running & hill walking. There is always ample free parking at the Dulude Arena and from there I can go onto the bike path that links to the rest of the region-wide network.

Hidden gem- it's not evident where to park and go in but trust the map and go in: it's a pretty cool bike bump area - anyone with a bike and helmet can go on (no scooters). Crowd was mostly 6-10yr old with accompanying grown ups when we were there on a Sunday morning. Nice people... Kids were considerate to each other.

Super big and daunting hill, great for sledding! Only downfall is there's no supervision for safety.

Lovely park. Ball fields, but hill to run and sled. Nice walking areas

Ball diamonds are top notch with restrooms and night lights. All must be booked through the City of Ottawa, as many leagues use these diamonds.

Played softball here and the diamonds are well maintained. There are bleachers for spectators to sit on and an outhouse on site.

Let me just begin by saying this is one of my favourite places to go sliding in winter. It’s location is nice and has a spacious parking. The only thing that would make this place amazing is if the aerial lifts worked. It is quite tiring going all the way to the top of the hill.

(Translated by Google) In the heart of the National capital it is the ideal place for a family outing, walking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, snow biking and above all, especially the slope which gives you the impression of planning like a bird. To visit absolutely. In the summer there is the bike park, the place that my 5 year old son loves. (Original) Au coeur de la capitale Nationale c'est le lieu idéal pour une sortie de famille, marche, raquette, ski de fond, vélo de neige et surtout, surtout la pente qui te donne l'impression de planner comme un oiseau. It's a great place to walk around, and in the winter, to sled. The newly made bike park makes the place so much better, and the park has so many trails to explore. It's a great place to walk your dog and go for a walk yourself. There are also multiple baseball diamonds that can be used to play, there is also Dulude Arena nearby on Clyde.

Not sure whether they ever have the "ski" life running, but a great Hill for toboggan and sliding! Good times.... Tiring like crazy, but when it snows, hard to find anything better in the city!

Perfect place for sledding. There needs to be a walkway uphill with markings.
